“So just to make sure, the goblins that chased you guy came from the girl’s locker room right?” I ask

“Yeah, we heard a scream and all of us ran into the locker room. Now that I think about it, maybe it wasn’t the smartest move,” Jessica reply.

“You know, people RUN away from those type of situation right?” I ask

“HEY! Don’t say it like I’m stupid you know. I just can't just leave someone in need of help,” said Jessica.

“I know how you are Jessica, whenever someone is in trouble you just can’t help yourself but to help them,” Sarah smile at Jessica.

“I know you guy want to help other people, but at a time like this our safety come first. I know I sound cold-blooded but I want to live. Also, when time like this happen people tend to go with their instinct and desire, SO DO NOT HELP ANYBODY UNTIL WE KNOW THEY CAN BE TRUSTED!” I reminded them. Whoever said that movies and games are useless? Movies and games taught people that the line that separate civilized people and wild animal is very thin, and whenever that line is broken people tend to act like wild animals. Look at that! Maybe my thousands of hours playing post apocalypse games and watch post apocalypse movies isn’t a waste of time after all.

“I---I really hate this, but you are right. After we get out of here can you please take us back to our house? I want to see my family and make sure they are alright,” Jessica said with a worrisome look.

“Don’t you worry about your family, maybe this only happen at our school. Since this is the only initiate stage,” I tried to cheer both of them up as they look worry about their family. “For now, you guy need to become stronger, otherwise you can’t help your family if they are in dire need.”

Both girls look at each other and then nodded in agreement, “You are right, we aren’t much used if we aren’t strong enough to help them we might even become a burden to them,” Jessica said.

‘Alright, now here’s the plan, we will QUIETLY walk into the girl locker room and see what is inside it right now. If this is what I think it is, then there might be a lot of goblins inside the room.” I said

“What do you mean Linh?” ask Sarah

“Well, from my thousands of hours playing games I think the locker room is a spawner. A spawner, is an area where monster come out of, there is a time interval for monster to come out. For example, a goblin which is weak can have a 1 minute spawn rate, while a hobgoblin which is stronger than the goblin can have a 5 minute spawn rate. Also, in ever spawner area there is at least an Elite monster or above. An Elite monster is many time stronger than the normal monster, so be careful if you see Elite monster or anything stronger than it,” I explained the information based on my knowledge from playing games.

Both Sarah and Jessica nodded as they take in the information.

“So I will go first while you guy closely follow me,” I said.

“Ok,” both answer.

We start to make move across the gym to the girl’s locker room. The girls’ locker room is in the opposite hallway of the boy’s locker room. To get into the locker room, we have to walk through the door and into the hallway, then we have to take a right turn. As we walk into the locker room, we was disgusted by the scene before us. There is dozens of bodies lying across the hallway, and all of the bodies are missing something. Some bodies have their eye gouge out, other lost arms or legs, and some lost their organs. The hallway is filled with blood, from the floor to the wall everything is in red.

The girl’s locker room has a huge door, the door usually stay closed off unless they are in use. This is to stop people from stealing while the rest is in gym. You may ask, well why does they need the door to stop thief if the locker is lock? Well, some time ago there wasn’t any door until some idiots start to leave their locker unlock and got stolen from. This happen so many time that the principal got tire of reminding the students to lock their locker, and he build the door just to stop all the complaining and stealing. There are approximately around 2000 students at the school, and so the locker room is quite big. The girl’s locker room is the same size as the guy combination of restroom and lockers, the room is about 1000 square feet.

As we get closer to the locker room I start to use Void of Emptiness to hide our presence. There is a bunch of *Kikikiki* sound as we get closer. As we get into the room we nearly die from shocked, there is dozens of goblins inside the locker room and all of them have weapons some have swords other have bows, and some have staff. Each goblins have a loin around their waist to show any part of their testicles. While looking around I saw a goblins that is very different from the rest, and all the goblins seem to be afraid of it as they never dare to go near the monster. This monster is at least 6 feet tall, its muscle bulge out their muscle is like one of those strongest man in the world, on its back there is a large sword that is the same size as the monster, its whole body is cover with silver color armors, and instead of color green like the rest of the goblins its color is red.

On top of each of the goblins is an information chart.

What is with this level and stats! This is what you call weak? If it wasn’t for my armor sets I bought using Jewels I wouldn’t have a chance against it! Also why does it show MP bar when Valhalla said there is no mana bar? So many questions and not enough answer damn it!

“Alright, there is dozens of goblins in there and also an Elite class monster. I can wipe them all out, but it would take a lot out of me and Jessica hasn’t initiate yet so she can’t join the party to get the share exp. Right now, we need to lure one goblin out so Jessica can kill it and get initiate,” I told my plan to the girls. As I told them my plan, I saw that the goblins start to move out of the locker room.

“SHIT! The spawn rate must be fast and combine with not enough space in the locker room, the goblins start to move out,” I said.

I quickly rush the girl out of the hallway and ran back into the gym. “Ok, this is better now, since they start to move out of the locker room we can find a separate goblin to get Jessica initiate.”

We start to follow one of the Warrior Goblin out of the locker room. We follow it all the way to the gym, “Let me fight this goblin alone and don’t help me unless I really need it. I want to get use to fighting,” said Jessica.

Sarah look at me with a worry look and I just nodded back at her.

“Here take this and fight the goblin,” I take an iron bat that I find in the gym and gave it to her, “I don’t have any weapon on me right now, so use this temporary.”

“I’m not sure you can win against the goblin with just a bat Jessica,” Sarah trying to dissuade Jessica from fighting it.

“I got this Sarah, we know each other since we was 5 you know that I can do this,” said Jessica.

“UGH! I hate this idea, but since I can’t dissuade you then you should just do whatever you want,” Sarah said with a pouted face.

“Don’t worry Sarah, I will step in if I see that she is in danger,” I trying to cheer her up.

“Alright you two, I’m going in,” Jessica said and then she start to make her way to the goblin.

Jessica take advantage of the goblin facing the other way and swing the bat with all her might at its head. *CRACK* we heard a cracking sound from it, “OUCH! That gotta hurt,” I said.

After she swung the bat, the goblin is in a lot of pain and confusion since it didn’t know what just happen. Jessica then continue to swing the bat down onto its head, and the goblin start to cry out in pain. “Jessica hurry up and kill that thing, it’s making too much noise the other will heard it,” I urge Jessica to quickly kill it.

Jessica immediately nodded and start to swing the bat faster and harder each time.

The goblin health continue to drop until it reach zero. “Interesting, based on what I know Jessica shouldn’t be do this much damage. In other word, if the monster isn’t ready and we fight it whenever it wasn't prepare then we can do more damage to it,” I said from my observation. On the other side, Sarah look like she was going to puke because Jessica literally smashing the goblin brain out. Its head is now dented and the top of its head has hold which all its brain coming out of. Blood and brain parts of the goblin start to spill out.

----Jessica’s POV----

When I got close to the goblin all I know to do is swing at its head with all my might. When the goblin start to fall down I just keep on swinging at it. Linh start to urge me to kill it faster because it was making too much noise, so I swing the bat faster and harder to kill it quickly. The goblin head is now dented and its brain and blood is spilling all over the floor and some of it stain my jean pant. It was a disgusting scene, but I don’t care about it since I need to do this to become stronger and I want to survive through this hellish world.

After the goblin is dead I heard a *TING* sound and a blue screen appear.
