Nick sat on his stone throne with his eyes closed as he listened to the noises outside his door, he felt the shuffling of his subordinates' feet and heard their conversations but that was not what he was searching for, he concentrated some more and soon a smile grew across his face, he heard the slight changes

occurring inside Eren's body and estimated that he would need two days before his first shift. Nick opened his eyes and thought aloud to himself "Two days from now huh? if I'm not mistaken then that day is a full moon.......how nostalgic" -----------

In the blink of an eye two days had passed and just as Nick had said, there was a full moon looming in the sky "Have the preparations been made?" Nick asked scar who was waiting for him outside of his room "Yes sir, just as you said he's showing signs that he's ready for his first shift.......if I may be so bold as to ask, what have you done to him sir?" at this question Nick exposed a slightly crazed smile "what have I done to him you ask?" Nick stopped and turned his head towards scar while smirking and continued "well to put it simply I made him......... he is no longer...... well I guess there really isn't a simple way to explain this" he said with a laugh "I guess you'll have to wait and see like the rest of us" scar was dumbstruck when he heard what Nick said, it was only until Nick turned to give him an inquisitive look did he snap out of his shock and asked "But doesn't that mean that not even you know what's going to happen sir?" this caused Nick to stop in his tracks but soon he laughed and continued on his way, eventually they arrived at their destination, what appeared before their eyes was a large clearing surrounded by trees that stretched as far as the eyes could see and in the middle of this clearing Eren knelt gasping for air. Seeing eren like that Nick narrowed his eyes and with a sway of his body he appeared in front of him and closely examined his body after Nick saw the state eren was in he immediately adopted a serious attitude "scar you should leave......now!" seeing the expression on Nick's face and hearing his serious tone scar knew things were about to start so he hurriedly left, with the distractions out of the way Nick stepped back to allow himself the space to react quickly in case eren attacked him. Seemingly now noticing the presence of Nick, eren raised his head and asked in between breaths "what's.....happening to......me?" "Well to be frank......I have no idea, this is the first time I ever bit someone without tearing off chunks of flesh and ripping them to pieces" nick said with a serious face and equally serious voice, Eren stared at him with a blank look on his face for a while before squeezing out a weak laugh "I do have an idea of what may be happening to you at the moment though if I'm not mistaken your organs are being enlarged to better accommodate your increased size. We, you and I, as Lycans have certain advantages over the humans but I'll explain after you complete the transformation" as soon as Nick finished his sentence Eren began sweating and groaning in pain, soon the sound of bones snapping and shifting could be heard from within him, he opened his mouth in an attempt to scream but nothing but silence could be heard, his teeth started falling out one by one and newer sharper ones grew to replace them, his fingers grew longer while his nails grew sharp till they resembled claws and fur started sprouting from all over his body. ------Eren's POV------ With some difficulty I stood up, I still felt pain from when my body was changing but it gradually faded as if it was never there to begin with. I looked down at my hands and what I saw made me gasp and take a step back but in the process of doing so I tripped and fell on my butt, I felt a sharp pain coming from the end of my spine and looked back to see what it was and what I saw made my eyes open wide in shock,it was a tail, I had a freaking tail!!! "Behold the master of the hunt, the terror of the wild, the one, the only one I might add, WHO TRIPS OVER HIS OWN TAIL!!! you should be proud as it's your first achievement" I snapped out of my shocked state as I heard those words laced with sarcasm and looked up only to see Nick looking at me with a mischievous smirk on his face "You ever consider joining the circus? Imagine it, the first wolf to ever be a part of a circus, they'll call you left foot tail tripper, why left foot you may ask? hell if I know" nick started to laugh wildly at his own joke, it took him two minutes to calm down before he shifted to his lycan form in the span of a few seconds, eren stared at him in shock as he saw this happen, as Nick noticed his surprised expression he said "Don't look so surprised, I trained for years to be able to do this, speaking of which follow me.......without tripping over your tail this time" Eren grumbled under his breath as he got to his feet and followed behind Nick as they raced through the forest, it was surprisingly easy to keep up with him as the two of them weaved between trees and leaped off tree trunks when they couldn't stop in time. Suddenly Nick stopped in front of an ancient looking tree, it was completely white and had sturdy looking branches but it was barren, it had no fruits nor leaves and that left Eren wondering as to what sort of tree it was when suddenly Nick began speaking "There is a story I would like to tell you, would you be so kind as to sit and listen?" It was in the form of a question but Eren felt like it was more of a command and that he was compelled to do what Nick asked, the aura Nick was giving off was dark and gave eren the feeling that he was in the presence of an ancient being. "Over fifteen thousand years ago there was a village called Rohad, the people of this village were very superstitious and wary of others so they learned witchcraft to defend themselves and cast a magic barrier around their village that prevented their village from being easily discovered. In this village lived a young man who went by the name of Fenris lupine, unlike the other villagers he was not born behind the villages' walls and because of this, he was treated more like a stranger and less like family. The young man would spend his days in the forest surrounding the village hunting to battle his loneliness, one day he came across an injured wolf pup and decided to help it but in the process of doing so the wolf pup, being injured and scared bit him, what the man didn't know was that the pup was infected at birth and was abandoned. The man being the kind hearted soul he was decided he would take the pup back to the village shaman, he made his way back to the village and entered the shaman's hut, as he entered the hut he bumped into the shaman's daughter Emilia who seemed sad for some reason. You see, Fenris was in love with Emilia ever since he first saw her but the problem with that was her father wasn't very trusting of him seeing as he wasn't born in the village so he never permitted his daughter to socialize with him but what he didn't know was that sometimes when Fenris went into the forest Emilia would sneak away to accompany him and they would spend hours just talking together. It started off as a normal friendship but over the years their feelings started to evolve until one night as they were talking Fenris confessed his love for her, luckily Emilia felt the same way and she readily accepted his feelings and soon they started a relationship which they kept hidden from the other villagers. I'm getting off topic, anyway Fenris went to the shaman's hut where he saw Emilia and quickly averted his eyes and walked into the shaman's room and placed the pup on the table in front of him and was going to turn to leave but he found his body frozen in place with his hands still on the body of the wolf pup, it was then that Fenris saw the mouth of the shaman moving and he felt his body gradually losing strength and his vision faded rapidly. When he woke up he found himself wrapped in silver chains and tied up to an old acorn tree, the villagers were in front of him hurling insults and calling him a monster and to the back of the crowd stood Emilia, with pity in her eyes she looked at him and it was then that a thought struck Fenris, she knew, she knew and she told him nothing, she knew what the shaman had planned for him and she stood to the side while watching the events unfold while continuing to toy with his feelings like a cat playing with a mouse. With those thoughts swirling around in his head, he started to be consumed by rage, so hot was his rage that it took on a physical form and began to drain the color from the tree he was tied to, the villagers seeing these changes began fearing for their lives but were reinvigorated by the shaman's cries of the beast being weakened so they took up their pitchforks and torches and began stabbing him repeatedly and burning off patches of skin and muscle until his bones could be seen. All the while Emilia stood aside and watched the villagers torture her lover until late into the next evening where they stopped and set up camp around him and ate until they were full and continued to torture him late into the night and only stopped when the shaman told them to allow him to recover so that he would not die too soon. As the moon rose high into the sky Fenris' wounds began to heal at a rapid pace until he was back to peak physical condition and although his physical wounds were healed, mentally he was still broken, the shaman was just as shocked as the other villagers but he further instigated the villagers to keep attacking thus began another round of the villagers torture of Fenris until the third night where the moon was at its highest. The villagers were just about to begin another torture session when suddenly Fenris began groaning and writhing in pain, the shaman thinking his pain was due to their torture finally showing an effect rallied the villagers to once again stab and burn him, thus they entered a frenzied state of slashing, stabbing and burning Fenris. Meanwhile, during all the confusion no one noticed his body healing at an impossible rate, it wasn't until one of the villagers closest to Fenris fell did they stop, everyone stared at the unmoving villager laying on the ground before someone positioned him to lay on his back and it was then they saw the

dead villager's throat was slit, confusion struck them and murmurs broke out amongst them, it wasn't until a deep growl came from Fenris' direction did everyone quieted down and looked at him but what appeared before their eyes wasn't the blonde haired, blue eyed man they were previously torturing, what they saw was a hairy monster with deep glowing red eyes staring at them with intense hatred. The shaman, seeing things about to take a turn for the worst, grabbed Emilia and began running in the opposite direction Fenris, however, wasn't having any of that and with a long roar tore through the villagers and made a mad dash towards them. Fenris in his transformed state quickly arrived in front of Emilia and the shaman and with a quick flick of the wrist

separated the shaman's head from his shoulders, Emilia stood frozen in place as she watched Fenris kill her father. She opened her mouth to speak but before any words left her mouth Fenris' claws swept across her neck and she slowly fell to the ground, it was then as she laid dying that she told him that her father cast a spell on her after she heard him telling the villagers that Fenris was a spy for a bandit group who have been going around killing and raping women and children and that they planned to kill him when he came back from the forest. She planned to tell him but her father cast a spell which rendered her incapable of speaking about anything related to what she heard them discussing and she could only act like nothing happened, she told him that on the day he came back with the injured pup she interrupted the curse her father was placing on him she told him the truth as she laid there dying on the cold forest floor. An unjust death for one so pure, it was there that a deep hatred for mankind grew in his heart and thus was born the greatest hunter of mankind, the master of wolves, hunter of the night, death, night stalker, The reaper. The names changed as the years passed until finally he was defeated by a young woman who bore a striking resemblance to his first love Emilia, but sadly the old shaman's curse was not so easily broken, he was cursed to live as a wolf forever but due to the spell being interrupted he could change from man to wolf and back again but for every advantage there is a disadvantage, for example, he was given almost godly regenerative powers which rendered him nigh immortal but because of the chains which bound him to that tree during his torture during his firt transformation he had a weakness to silver which rendered his regenerative abilities almost useless. The lass used this weakness to defeat the monster and chained him back to the same tree where he spent many years in a semi-unconscious state before he was found one day by a young

boy, they say the boy removed the beasts chains and the beast seeing the innocence in the boy's eyes took him under his wing and raised him as his own while living in seclusion............" I sat quietly buried deeply in my thoughts as Nick finished his story which caused Nick to smile as he knew I was paying attention "does Fenris's regenerative ability means he doesn't age?" I asked Nick who responded with a nod "If he doesn't age then doesn't that mean he might still be alive today" Nick smiled at my question and chuckled "Do you have any other questions?" "Yes, his name, Fenris lupine, is he related to you?" "you know, I figured you would have asked if we're in wolf form how can we understand each other and I would have replied animals understand animals but I guess this is also a good question........I guess you can say he is related to me though.........it's time we head back, you should be able to revert back to your original form now" nick said as he reverted from his wolf form to his human form and I followed suit "Tomorrow I think I'll go to school" I froze in place as I stared at Nick with wide eyes and shakily raised my hand pointing at him saying "you....you....you....... why?" "hm? why do I go to school you mean? well to stave off boredom obviously, humans are a truly amusing species......would you like to attend school with me?" he asked me with a slight smile on his face, seeing Nick back to his usual self I sighed and nodded my head which made him chuckle giddily at the prospect of having one of his kind with him to share his hobbies with "you should go rest Eren, wouldn't want to be late for your first day of school now would you?" Nick said as he walked away towards his room leaving me there with my eye twitching crazily at his laid back attitude "what have I gotten myself into?" I asked myself as I dragged my feet back to my room to prepare for the long day ahead of me tomorrow
