A boy with a fair complexion was sitting at the table. He however was void of blood in his face and look extremely pale. If someone sees his current look they would think he was a ghost. This boy was none other than Lee who had vomited no more than fifteen minutes ago. The third object that Uncle Ro reveal was a human, devoid of skin. However one could see his inner muscles, and some places had arteries popping out of the muscles. Even Mei would faint seeing this sight.
Uncle Ro however was in his own little world, he had paid no attention to Lee, for he was painting black circle on the skeleton before moving to next skeleton and doing the same thing.
After no more than few seconds, Uncle Ro turn around and began his usual lecture. Uncle Ro comprehension on the human body was vast. He had explain that male and female skeletal structure was almost the same, the only few parts that were different were the hips, shoulder width, the chin bone, and few more places but in the end the human body was typically. Although the growth is different between the two, the human body hold the same pressure points.
Uncle Ro then went into complete teacher mode. “The human body have a total of 385 pressure points covering the entire body, whether is on your head or the bottom of your feet those specific places I have mark are pressure points. There are 32 major pressure point that you must know, this is crucial to your martial arts and also it can save you from certain danger.”
Uncle Ro pointed the areas which was the throat, the heart, Septal Cartilage (nose), eyes, and other areas.
“These pressure point will help you in cultivating for qi energy, or it can create a qi blockage that can affect your cultivation and also your life. There are 14 main body meridians. Twelve paired meridians and two single meridians, the meridian pairs complement each other. Yin the energy that flows upwards, and yang the energy that follows downward. The acupuncture points or acupoints can help stimulate the meridian system and bring balance to yin, yang and qi. Of the 385 points, two-thirds are consider yang and the remaining are consider yin. This is also crucial, as you cultivate into a higher realm you have to make sure that you maintain balance otherwise the destructive force can internally kill you. However there are people with special bodies that can hold pure yang or pure yin, we called these type of people ‘heaven chosen’. However you did not need to know this for now. Now you will memorize the area from the skeletal structure and you will apply to this third body. This will help you in your journey later on, not only can you cure yourself or others, you can also breakthrough bottlenecks, acquire higher qi energy, suppress foreign qi and poison, and also by applying this to enemy you can cripple them, make the unable to perform any skills, or even kill them. This ancient arts is called Dim Mak or known as ‘Death Touch’. It is not widely known and have been lost through time as other martial arts replace this. However those pathetic fools couldn’t possible understand the strength behind this. Even if you were to face god with this technique, even he has to wary about fighting you.” Uncle Ro knowledge was immense and filled Lee with not only surprise but excitement to know more.

“I as a cockroach, have it rough. Out of trillions of cockroach only 1% can break through certain level of cultivation and gain intelligence, however I was the only one out of my entire kin to made it into divine cultivation realm. How did I achieve this? Heh, survive, no matter how many times people kick you down or try to stomp you in order to kill you, you will remain strong and come back alive to fucking annoy the shit out of them.” Uncle Ro displayed himself with immense pride, Lee could imagine Ro being step on hundreds of times, and still be kicking around and coming back to annoy the people who hates cockroach, mainly the female at home.
After the lecture Lee was given paint and a needle, to mark the areas and to accurate learn how to place the needle. Not to deep and not to shallow in certain area. Some area must apply strength, while other just a light tap and the needle will go in. Lee of course no longer need to read the book, as Ro implanted him the memories. What Lee needed was to apply the knowledge and gain experience. Reading can give him the insight, but it is not the same as actual practice.
Lee would spend hours staring at the skeletal structure to memorize the pressure points, or he would practice using the needle. He would do this every day for the next four months. During this time Lee’s Chronostasis eyes had activated without him knowing. The world did not turn gray. However it acquire the knowledge of the human body, the skeletal structure, the pressure points, and knowledge of acupuncture. Lee of course didn’t know about this ability, but he was surprise to find out how quickly he had learn. For others it would take decades for Lee only four months.
The Chronostasis in Lee’s eyes flicker and faded. Though Lee hadn’t master everything he learn as he needed more experience, however he was confident in his proficiency to apply to life. Lee felt cold, this was the first time he ever felt it, living in the cold mountains. It was possible do the excitement of his new life.
----------
Deep in a dark cave, a shadow figure appear under a small hazy light, illuminated by a glowing stone. The figure standing tall on all four legs, his fur was grayish white, he did not give any aura, his eyes were closed as he face toward the beast chain to the wall. This figure was none other than Uncle Mu.
“It’s been so long old friend. Have you come to send me to the underworld? Or perhaps you seek something of me?” The beast laid there unmoving, he could hear Uncle Mu approach the cave from the outside. Nothing can escape his ears.
“No, I come to make an offer, a very special offer that would be tempting for you not to resist. In due time, I will send a young child here. He is your key to freedom.” Uncle Mu spoke calmly, ignoring the fact that beast was pretending to pay no heed to Mu existence.

“Hmph, don’t try to trick me. If it wasn’t for you that little girl would have freed me, and I would have kill her. Don’t bother me, leave.” The beast was angry, but he did not reveal it in his tone.
“I see, whether you like it or not he will come. He will kill you, unless you can kill him first. My offer is for you to toy with him for one year, make him feel like an insignificant bug, make him suffer for one year before killing him. If you can do that I will release you, and you can do what you please. However if he kills you, then you are nothing but a pathetic beast.” After Mu gave his offer to the beast. He walk away and disappear from the cave, leaving no trace of his presence behind. The beast open his eyes and glare into the darkness looking at the light where Mu had stood before. After that he went back to mediating, while recalling the offer Mu had gave him.
----------
“MOVE MAGGOT. FASTER, EVEN MY GRANDA WITH BROKEN LEGS CAN MOVE FASTER THAN YOU.” Uncle Ro was yelling at Lee. From a teacher to a drill sergeant, this transition shocked Lee.
Lee was running through snow, running through water, sidestepping on rocks with dodging snowballs thrown at him by Ro, and doing special feints and maneuver create just for him.
Footwork the basic foundation to all martial arts. From stances to technique to simple movements. Footwork was the core, without it, many cultivator would probably die against those who have better skills or just simple stronger than them.
Uncle Ro plan on having Lee not only be able to move faster than the opponent he is facing, but also create after images to trick or use it against enemies. Whether is fleeing or fighting Ro drill Lee so hard that he hope it will stick into his core and he will never have to worry that Lee will die while adventuring. Ro hope that Lee can at least move faster than the speed of sound, by the time they are done. It was truly a grand feat, for Lee who is merely four years old, it can be said that if is to accomplish this he is would be a monstrous genius. Every day for sixteen hours with an hour of rest, Lee had to repeat this training course over and over.
Even when he is exhausted he still had to push to his limit. This was Ro goal, by having Lee push his limit, only then can Lee bring out his full potential. If Lee is smart, he would be able to overcome this limit and set a new limit, and hope that he then can push again. Every time Lee overcomes his limit, he grew stronger and faster.
Finally after one year, Lee had accomplish the impossible. Though he could produce one after image and is almost few steps away from achieving the speed of sound that his training with Uncle Ro finally came to an end. Uncle Ro was satisfy with the achievement, though he was a bit disappointed that Lee didn’t reach the goal that he had set, being able to get close to it made him feel proud.
Lee, who is now five, sat next to his mother under the tree as they read a book. This book show the history major powers, locations of formidable monster, and many schools that had been establish over a few centuries ago. Mei, was injecting her dragon essence into Lee while they read, it wasn’t as small as it was when Lee was little, however it wasn’t huge that it would destroy Lee. By doing so, Lee soul became stronger, his spirit more pure, and his qi become more stable. Warmth fill throughout his body, however Lee did not notice this, as his entire attention focus on the book. He was fascinated how things have change, though a hint of sadness can be seen in his eyes, as he knew that his master had perish along with the entire school.
For an entire day, mother and son sat and continue to read. As Lee head to bed, he felt within his body that his soul was different. However he paid no heed, as he had to wake up early for his last training with his uncle.
Today Lee walked to the training ground, there Uncle Mu stood waiting for Lee. Lee did not see any books or materials in front of Mu. As he approached, did Mu finally moved. He circle around Lee and began to give off a cold aura.
“This next training will increase your strength and breakthrough to the sixth stage. This training you will not slack, if you can complete this a reward will be given. This reward you will know later on, for now we will discuss a profound arts based on the five elements. Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, and Lightning.” Each word spoken by Mu made Lee shiver.
“Will your rise or will you fall?”

Book 1 is complete. Book 2 is currently updating. For centuries, the portal to another dimension remained closed. Now, it is mysteriously open again, and the link between Earth and Heartstone allows us to journey once more to this magical realm. Book 1 - Arwin arrives in Heartstone and meets some lovely damsels who are unfortunately in distress. He faces off against blue blood nobles to help the people of the Blue Region. Book 2 - Arwin befriends Yaz, a talking skeleton and sets off for adventure. But before they get going, they stumble across a tribe of gorgeous nymphs. All seems fun and games until the goblins arrive. This series is a portal fantasy (isekai) that features wordplay and puns and plenty of cultural references. Reminiscient of Piers Anthony's Xanth series and Terry Pratchett's Discworld, but for a more adult audience. Book 1 is also available on Amazon and other online stores. The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
