Chapter 5.5 : A Daughter’s Despair
Rebecca was spawned within the walled village of Everbridge. The streets were cobbled. The walls were high. So all in all it looked like any other starting village other than the fact it sat in the shadow of a hill… and on the hill was a castle.
The spot she started was a grassy field with a nice fountain in the center. The fountain was adorned with many naked women and men of the whitest marble. The water within gleamed with magic and copper pennies.
She looked around herself finding others who mirrored her movements. They all wondered why were they taken here. The were not even able to make a avatar or pick their starting location. A few started to curse. Then a blue box appeared before them.
-----------------------
Welcome Travelers!
You were late to the passing of the God of Life.
So you lost the choice in your second life.
Best of Luck.
---------------------
Shock and awe appeared in the faces of the many human Travelers within the town square of Everbridge.
Rebecca too was shock and angered by this. So she thought to use the friend system and contact her father, since he was the one who bought her this broken game.
“Access Friends List.” she thought, and a blue boxed appeared.
----------------
All family members have been added to your friends list.
----------------
One name in front of Rebecca and it was Kyoki.
She lifted her hand and touched it and a voice rang within her head.
“You have created a private conversation with your father.”
“Dad can you hear me?” Rebecca said but no sound left her mouth.
Alex heard his daughter's voice and mumbled “Must actually be going mad now…”

Weylyn who was laying in Alex’s lap napping snuggled closer to Alex. They sat in the home of Victor and Amelia who had snuck them into the city once the scout had left her post.
It was a lot easier considering Alex destroyed the southern guard.
He was in their community room. It was a medium sized square room with a hearth at one end and the door to a hallway leading to the kitchen and bedrooms. He was leaning against the hearth deep within his mind.
“What the hell are you talking about?” He heard her voice again. Alex had started to recede into his mind once again to try and forget what he had done.
“Damn it Dad I am whispering you through the friend system!” Rebecca’s voice rang in his head.
“What is it kid.” His voice whispered coldly as he was wrestling with his inner self.
Rebecca’s anger for her father froze as she heard this cold voice of her fathers. She never heard it before...she heard the stories from her aunt and uncle but never dealt with it herself.
“Daddy...whats wrong…” she asked scared. She remembered her Aunt Crystal once told her about the time she was almost raped and was saved by Alex. But she put that up as her propaganda for her fathers benefit and that what she believed...until now.
He regained his sanity for a moment and replied with warmth. “Nothing kiddo. What did yah need.”
She knew he was hiding something important. “It is nothing. But whats up dad?”
“I will tell you when we see each other in person. So where are you?” He asked.
“Not a clue. I will find out and tell you later. See you I am gonna log.”

She disconnected from her pod.
A tear ran down his cheek and he receded back into his mind thinking “At least I can talk to my daughter…” It was the only thing keeping him from letting the memories of Baerlain taking over.
As she pulled her body out of the capsule into her mural of a room. The wall were painted ‘By her’ in the likeness of The Great Wood of which her father has been in.She lay in her bed and slept until morning.
She woke to her alarm clock sounding off at 7:00. Groggily she woke and went to the kitchen table expecting eggs to lay on a plate before her. It took her a moment but when nothing appeared and her father was not in the kitchen she went to his room.
“He knows the routine, He makes breakfast on the weekends and I make it on the weekdays before school.”
As she neared a light hum was the only thing that could be heard. She reached the wooded door and knocked. Nothing. So she moved the handle and it opened with ease and swung open. No one was in the room but she noticed his capsule was on. As she neared she could feel heat coming out of the capsule. So she rushed over touching it. It burnt her and but opened. Steam blocked her vision of her father.
But as it cleared she screamed a blood curdling scream.
Nothing was inside. Not even a body.
----------------------------------
*A/n The Great Wood has a faster time than that of the surrounding area so more could happen within it which is why Alex had done so much more than his daughter considering they started ten minutes apart. She started after him since she had to do take a shower and change into night clothes. But the basic difference in time is ¼ or ever one hour in life is 6 in game*

What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). Tanka and Haiku
Overview TankaThe tanka poem is very similar to haiku but tanka poems have more syllables and it uses simile, metaphor and personifacation. There are five lines in a Tanka poem. Tanka poems are written about nature, seasons, love, sadness and other strong emotions. This form of poetry dates back almost 1200 years ago.HaikuHaiku poetry hails from Japan and uses strict syllable guidelines rather than focusing on meter or rhyme. Because the poem is short only three lines with 17 total syllables writers must choose words carefully to create meaning. Haiku poetry is typically simplistic, but its meaning can have great depth. Source : Wikipedia You can share my poem but dont copy, Piglarism is a crime. Enjoy reading po. 💕😊💕Ms. Eryl
