Chapter 4: Thundercats,HO!!!
After walking for another hour Weylyn whisper to Alex. “I think the furry lady is following us.”
Alex raised an eyebrow and said “ hmm. Really here? Well ok,lets camp for the night?”
Alex began to pick up firewood while Weylyn was confused at what just happened but after a moment of staring at the back of Alex who was leaning over picking up firewood he started to as well.
A few minutes later…
Alex and Weylyn had finished with the firewood. Weylyn was lying near where the fire would be and Alex was making a makeshift tent with branches, moss and leaves for bedding and rain protection.
That night
“She’s a stubborn one.” Alex whispered to Weylyn was lying on Alex’s lap having his fur stroked.
Alex had to move the fire within the shelter to keep it from going out in the night rain. It was a cold drizzle that wouldn’t flood them but if they were not careful it could lead to the pup catching a cold.
“Shes moving closer to the tent,I can hear her breath and I smell her scent...strong.” The little pup whispered lazily as he started to drift off.
Alex sat there in the night staring at the fire. hearing the creaking and snapping of the twigs within.
“I know you know i am here.” a high pitch, yet womanly voice spoke from outside the entrance of the shelter.
Alex looked at the woman from the corner of his eye waving her in, still stroking Weylyn's fur.
She tentatively ducked and walked in trying to act dignified. But the cold water had long since drenched her dress and she was now hazard dieing by hypothermia.
The shelter/tent was situated within an alcove of a Redwood. The tent like part was were the fire and entrance was while Alex and Weylyn would sleep within the part sheltered by the tree itself. At least if Alex needed sleep, which he found he did not need. That might just be do to being within a game or his immortal status.

Alex carefully put the sleeping pup next to where he sat and unequipped his tunic and shirt with the system. He tossed the clothes to her, and said “Use it.”. He turned away so that she may change.
She was around neck height to him which if he guessed right it would be alittle longer than the dress she was wearing.
“Um...my tail…” she whispered.
He pushed his palm to his forehead. “I knew i was forgetting something.” he said out loud taking his dagger out and tossing it to her feet only glancing for a second to to hit her. Seeing the shirt pulling up, showing her upper thigh.
He waited for her to give him the 'ok' to turn around.
It never came.
But a thin metal blade did make contact to his throat. And a male voice whispered into his ear.
“What did you do to my wife...human.”seething hate drenched the words human.
Alex smirked. “The question is not what i did ...It’s what didn’t I do.” as the last words left his mouth the metal slid across his skin.
Alex turned around looking at the male catman.
“If he pulls out the sword of omen and started to chant ‘Thunder,Thunder,Thundercats, HO!’ I would not be surprised.” these were his first thoughts seeing the lion maned man like cat.
“What are you?!” the lion-man said scared and annoyed.
Weylyn woke up seeing the lion-man backing away from the smirking Alex and thought “He will handle it.” and went back to sleep.
“Well I don't know for sure. Human...maybe. Time Lord...I hope. Super bad ass who saved your wife from two trolls...yeah i remember some of that happening.” He said in a questioning tone and adding a answering tone for each pause.
“What?” the lion man looked angry with Alex’s blade still in his hand. The catwoman trembling behind her husband looking sad.

“If you are going to use that dagger use it, I will break your paw but don't let that sway you. Or you can leave this tent. Or for a third and better choice sit your no good shitty ass down before a decorate this place with your guts.” Alex started in a joking manner but by the end he was looking the other man in the eye putting as much for behind his words as he could.
The Lion-man plopped onto the ground and tossed the dagger away looking scared out of his mind.
“Now that’s better.” Alex said taking some meat from his bag. Tossing some to both the woman and the Lion-O clone.
They looked at the food. Then the woman pawed it testing if it was alive and a danger.
“Eat the food.” Alex said looking at them. They complied quickly. And then began to enjoy the meat. ‘Damn fucking people, making me go back to my old mean fucking self should kick their ass so hard they would taste leather for the rest of their no good fucking live.’ these anger did not show on his face but these thought filled his mind.
But he’s learned it’s best to be calm,at least until it stops raining.
A hour before dawn
The cat-woman lay in the lap of the lion- man. He stroked her head while keeping a keen eye on their captor. Or atleast that's what his thoughts on the situation were.
But Alex was staring off into the fire think of nothing and yet everything. He let his mind wander so as to calm himself. He had entered his void. He saw everything but none of it caught his attention. He was looking for something yet he did not know what. Then he found it.
As if it was always there yet just out of eyesight, a glow. likes of which he had never saw. It was different hues of blue and yellow. As he concentrated more upon it he saw its entirety. He reached out with his mind touching it.

All around the world
All being looked into the direction of The Great Wood. The players found this to be odd. They too were forced to look in that direction.
---------------------------------
Baerlain watched with a smile from his throne within the clouds. “I never knew he had this much potential...he could be stronger than me.” His smile widened into that of a mad mans. “I can finale die!” he whispered.
The young Goddess of Madness and Order teleported in front of her grandfather Baerlain the once King of the Gods. To ask him what was this power.
“What is this power?” she asked him frightened.
His smile did not help quell her fear.
“Oh, dear child.” He got up from his seat and patted her on the head. “I am finale able to pass away.”
Tears welled up within her eyes as she hugged her grandfather. She did not want him to leave her alone. She hated the other gods they were either weak and cruel or strong and boring. But he was strong.kind, and fun,if a little mad.
He started to fade into mist. “Don't worry little one, everything is going to change soon.” his disembodied voice echoed. Leaving a little girl crying within the clouds.

Yet, life knows to shit on you when things are just getting good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, author-san here! This is my first story, set up in a fantasy world. It's based on the medieval and steam era where magic is rare and alchemy is used widely used as a weapon by people. There would be lots of action, adventure, betrayal, tragedy, romance, etc. ahead. Warnings-The mc is a bit mean and foul-mouthed, introvert. There would be strong language and lots of monologue narration by the MC. The stories are fast-paced and progressing faster. The chapters update would be unstable, depending on my daily life. You would get fast updates... or slow. Also, English isn't my first language. So don't expect perfect grammar :( P.S. - I would like some constructive critique and feedback! It fills my motivation gauge and increases that rate of chapter/week. (/>3

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
