Chapter 18 :
(Where are those girls?)
Will looked around his surroundings, behind him he still could hear the scream of agony from the T-Rex as well as its rage.
Checking his mana.
Mana : 10/20
(Did it go up? Well whatever, gotta create some undeads and have them help me search for the girls…. if they get eaten. Then I would be failing my pledge to CUTENESS!)
Quickly creating 5 cat zombies, Will had them spread out and look for the girls. With his “Undead Lord” passive ability. He could always communicate with them and know their location. If any of them find the girls then he could get to where they are via zombies.
Climbing a tree nearby, Will observe the still screaming brunt T-Rex. Though it was with a lot of difficulty as them spikes sure are hard to position….imagine climbing up a mountain but carrying several guns strapped randomly around you….kinda hard.
It was still standing where it fell in the clearing, and didn’t appear to seem to be interested in moving around anytime soon either.
(Good thing it didn't chase me….had that happened then I really would be in trouble…)
Remembering how his minions barely did anything to the T-Rex. Will felt a cold shiver. The thing was like a tank. It crushed all of his undeads and didn't even take damage.

Clawing and stabbing at the body proved to be pointless since they couldn’t penetrate the skin. And it had its front arms to deal with if anything did get on it’s face.
Sighing, Will decided that it would be better to run from now on if he meets another one of these T-Rex look alikes.
A mental communication came from one of his zombie cats. It had found the girls, but they were being surrounded by a pack of black wolves.
Leaping off his tree, Will rushed towards the girls. Aiming for the location of his zombie nearby.
Moving through the undergrowth, he arrived next to his zombie, who was hiding behind a tree. He peeked out and watched as a group of black wolves completely surround the 5 beastkin girls. They had their backs against a tree and were trying to….do something…. Will couldn't really figure it out.
(Great…. I find them in another mess, and I can’t make many more undeads or I’ll pass out….)
Checking his mana again.
Mana : 5/20
Then he tried locating his zombies.
One was nearby as it found the girls.
The other four would take too long to gather, seeing that they had spread really far from where he is. Luckily the girls didn't get too far, or they would've been devoured before he got there.
So Will had a zombie, himself, and enough mana to make a maximum of 4 points of mana. However doing so would sharply reduce his fighting strength.
(Choices, choices…. be, not be…. both seems annoying. Can't control my minions if I’m knocked out. So using it all is out of the question….using a max amount would also take me out of the fight anyways….so looks like this is WAR!)
The opening for an anime suddenly popped inside his head. About a virtual game world becoming reality for the players. (SAO OP 1)

“MEW MEW MEOW, MEW MEW, ME ME. MEOW MEOW MEEEOOOWWW....” (Mewing)
Unaware he was mewing the opening out loud, he attracted the nearby Black Wolves who were closer to his hiding spot behind a tree.
(Crud, I screwed up…. well the bright side is that I still got these spikes on me. Hope they’re more useful against these wolves then that T-Rex look alike…. maybe I should pray?)
Three Black Wolves trotted over to investigate the noise. Only to meet the points from a ball of black spikes head on.
Weaving past the tree, Will commanded his only minion to distract the nearest black wolves to the beastkins as he threw himself at the black wolves. Didn’t want to lose what he came to save…. it’ll be really embarrassing if that happened……

The 1st black wolf tried to bite a area on Will, but… yeah didn't want to bite spikes. A rather rational idea, and it won the grand prize of a front paw spike in the head!
Surprisingly, the spike effortlessly managed to pierce right through the eye and into the brain.
Pulling back his front paw, Will was able to extract the spike from dead Wolf’s head.
DING!
The host has leveled up!
Ignoring the notification, Will turned to confront the two other approaching black wolves.
Both wolves got into range at the same time and slashed at Will with their sharp claws.
Jumping backwards, Will avoided the hit and then lunged forwards. Both paws aiming at the two wolves’ head.
The rather primitive wolves didn’t have time to dodge and were neatly pierced right through their heads.
DING!
The host has leveled up!
(Alight, now for the rest of them!)
Pulling the bloodies spikes from the dead bodies. Will faced the remaining pack of black wolves.
Unlike the other night, this pack seems to be only made up of 7 members. With 3 already dead, their fighting strength had sharply declined.
The pack leader (AKA the biggest one), howled a retreat and ran off disappearing into the forest. leaving 5 extremely terrified beastkin girls alone there, with a ball of spike and a cat zombie.

So yeah...I changed my mind again...like whenever I am typing my story. My thoughts always change and change some more. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
