《Nadia *Dropped*》Rewrite: Prolouge

In a white hospital room a woman was groaning in pain. This woman was named Annabelle. According to everyone she had met she was very beautiful. But she was so humble that it made it hard for others to swoon her. By others I meant playboys.

Only one man had made her fall in love. This man was named Jacob. Currently he was making an extremely worried face as he watched Annabelle, his wife, give birth.

The two had met in college. They had both been in college. Jacob was in a scholarship he had worked for his entire life. He had started to work as soon as he could because he was one of the less fortunate people. His father had become a drunk and a gambler after his mother died from the deadly type of skin cancer.

Jacob had not followed his father’s unfortunate footsteps and had worked and studied hard to be a doctor so that no one else would have to go through death. But he wasn’t so pure and innocent to think that no one would ever die and that he could save everyone. He just wanted to save as much people as he could.

There relationship was a very tough one as they lived completely different lives. On Annabelle's side she didn’t have to work for anything. She had butlers and maids follow her every command. She was filthy rich! Her parents owned an internet business and they spoiled Anabell a lot. She had gotten in to college with her grades and her parents money (but mostly her parents money.)

Annabelle hadn’t fallen in love with him instantly but after she tried rejecting him more than once his charming ways had melted her heart. After college ended and years of dating Annabelle was pregnant and her family who had opposed their relationship ever since the beginning got furious that she was about to ruin her life for this poor. But Annabelle had chosen to run away from them thinking that if they wouldn’t let them be together she would leave them.

Unexpectedly they just let her go. It was a mystery for them but they wouldn’t dare go near them because they knew they were cruel enough to force them to have an abortion.

The baby was out after a hard excruciating amount of pushing and pushing.

“It’s a beautiful baby girl.” said Jacob while holding the baby tightly in his arms.

“What should we name her?” muttered Annabelle with as much strength as she could muster.

Jacob looked at her with love in his eyes and said, “Her name will be Nadia.”

“What does it mean?” Annabelle asked with curiosity in her voice.

“The name means hope. She is ours, right?” Jacob said with confidence.

Annabelle nodded and extended her hand. Jacob grabbed it with his free hand and whispered, “I love you.” in her ear.

Annabelle looked at him in the eyes and kissed him lightly before turning her attention back to little Nadia.

Years had passed and Nadia was now 9 years old. She was a normal child in all aspects except for her looks. She had gotten her mother looks except she was twice as beautiful. She had beautiful aquamarine eyes and black hair as dark as the night sky.

Currently she was reading a book at the park. The book she was reading was the only one she owned. Her parents had worked hard to get enough money for their rent, insurance, light bill, water bill, and school expenses.They didn’t have enough money to actually buy a lot of toys for Nadia, much to her disappointment. But Nadia was old enough to understand that her parents loved her and cared for her enough to be working like a slave for her.

When she was young she had been quite the crybaby because she couldn’t be with her parents for a long time. At that time she had required much more attention than when she got older.

Nadia stretched her hands like a cat waking up and slowly jumped down from where she was sitting. She looked at the other children playing and thought, “I wish I could be like them. So carefree.” Nadia started to go back home. Right after school she was supposed to go home and wait for her parents with a babysitter. But Nadia didn’t want to be stuck inside like usual. So instead she went to the park thinking that it would be okay. It wouldn’t be.

Nadia started walking home slowly not wanting to face the trouble she had caused by disappearing when she wasn’t allowed to.

Suddenly she heard footsteps behind her. This was unusual because the route she would usually take would be empty. It was her shortcut because she was trespassing some other person’s grounds.

In another part of town a young looking woman was sitting in an extremely long table. On the other side of the table there was an woman long past her prime.

“Are you sure that we’ll be able to do anything we want with her?” (Young woman)

“I’m sure. As long as we never see her again you are free to even kill her.” (Old woman)

“That would ruin the fun though. She needs to suffer.” (Young woman)

“Is that trash of a granddaughter even worth your talents and time?” (Old woman)

“Even if she isn’t worth it she will be a fun to to break.” (Young woman)

The started deeply into each others eyes as if having a staring contest. Then they slowly started to smile. But their smiles weren’t sweet ones. They were sinister.

After the old woman had left a servant of the young woman revealed her curiosity with a question.

“What exactly are you going to do to her?” (Servant)

“You will see in time. For now just mind your own business, or else.” (Young woman)

As she said “Or else.” her hands had moved but her action was invisible to the naked eye. The servant was shocked and scared out of her mind as a small dagger almost hit her throat. The servant slowly kneeled down on the floor.

“Did you think we didn’t know who you were?” (Young woman)

“I …. I ….. ahhhhhhh.” (Servant)

The young woman grabbed the servants hair and with almost no strength at all pulled out her hair causing a scream. Then she grabbed her by the neck and dragged her away leaving only the sound of screams and the clacks of her high heels.

“I guess it’s double the fun today.” (Young woman)

The young woman licked her lips and started to laugh as she pressed a button and slowly went down the stairs to the torture chamber breaking the undercover servants head after each step.

Sorry for not posting lately. I have been very busy. I looked over my fiction and realized that I need to work on my plot more. In my rewrite forget the original plot. Please comment.
