Kevin looked at the dark sewer entrance with sceptical eyes .

"Is this only a sewer ? Doesn't this looks like a dark maze ?" asked Kevin

"Well is a dark maze , but people throw their feces into it thus creating soil for plants ." answered a male voice .

"Then why is your race always at war ?" Kevin asked a middle aged man with mouse ears .

"Because every sewer is connected after they became dungeon . You can imagine it like a huge underground maze filled with treasures and strong monsters . Since mice and rats once lived there we as their more intelligent representatives have to fight for it ." replied the man with mouse ears .

"Okay , so i have to walk in it to kill some enemy mice and rat monsters ?" questioned Kevin .

"Yes , you are right . But you won't fight alone . You will fight with two giant rats . Your duty is it to kill as much enemy rats and mice as possible . They have amazing reproducing speed . Not like normal rats and mice ." replied the mouse man while commanding rats at the size of dogs to follow Kevin .

"Good luck , be careful and don't die there !" warned the mouse man while sending Kevin into the entrance of the sewer .

Walking into darkness Kevins eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness , the two giant rats following him .

Carrying his spear and wooden shield Kevin walked deeper into the maze . His eyes always gazing on the giant rats . He isn't sure if they would guide him out like Adam and the rest described .

Going on for almost 5 minutes Kevin could see the his path splitting into two ways . Randomly picking one Kevin walked into it , the two rats silently following him .

At the end of the path Kevin stepped down stairs to finally enter the sewer .

"This is not a sewer , this is a godamn undeground maze !" Kevin cursed inwardly as he met his first enemys .

Two rats at the size of cats charged towards Kevin . His Ally Rats stopped the rats while Kevin helped one rat to kill the Giant rat .

It would be almost impossible to distinguish between the ally rat and the enemy rat since bot looked identical .

However on top of the enemy floated the HP bar as well as the monster name .

Trying to stab the rat , Kevin stepped in a solid position , prepared his shield for counter attacks and stabbed .

*Thonk* spear meets ground .

It missed since the rat easily dodged .

Squiking the giant rat charged towards Kevin .

Everything happened in the blink of an eye , thus Kevin could only lift his shield before getting tackled by the rat .

The rat smashed against his shield .

"AAAAAARGH !" with roar Kevin smashed his shield against the ground . Looking at the stunned rat under it Kevin stabbed the rat again .

One stab caused the rat to squik in agony .

But Kevin didn't panicked , he stabbed again thus killing the rat .

Looking how the corpse of the rat dissipated and the remaining bloody scene Kevin couldn't but feel unwell .

It is true that he witnessed how boars got killed but he never killed one . Even if he's used to bloody scene , creating one is completely different from witnessing one .

It wasn't a bad feeling , it was more like the previous Kevin tried to convince the new Kevin that what he do is bad .

However Kevin ignored the feeling and smiled . Yes , he smiled .

He killed his prey , and it felt so good !

Looking at his spoils of war Kevin looked at the system Message :

Just as Kevin wanted to inquire why he got two tails instead of one he looked at the other rat which got killed by his ally rats .

Because they got wounded he healed them with [Lowermost Heal] . Since he tried his heal for the first time he pointed at the rats and used [Lowermost Heal] .

With no effect . Only a shiny palm .

Looking at his shiny palm then at the rats Kevin touched one of the rats with his shiny palms .

Since the heal only costed 2 mana Kevin spammed heal on each rat ten times . After all he didn't wanted them to die . Besides it is easy to touch them while they don't fight . Since Kevin could only cast the buff from a distance and has to touch them to use his shiny palm for healing he didn't used [Lowermost Heal] often .

Looking at his Mana bar Kevin tried to find out his mana regeneration .

.... after waiting for few minutes Kevin sighed , later he will ask Adam . Since the number didn't changed .

Resuming his Path Kevin casually picked his way through the maze . Because Kevin healed the rats they got quite attached to him .

Since they looked so big Kevin felt like he got two loyal doggies on his side .

Encountering two more rats Kevin finished them quickly . Since he got experience from the former rat he attacked with a calm mind and blocked every attack with his shield .

Even if it is the fighting style of a chicken Kevin didn't feel bad . It is for his survival so why should he care about how other look at him .

The day passed rather peacefully . Finishing more than twenty rats Kevin stopped his hunting in the sewer .

He even graded the rats between easy , normal and hard . Since the Level of the rats varied between 5 and 10 Kevin got a huge amount of fighting experience .

Hugging both of his ally rats Kevin softly asked : "I want to go home . Can you show me the way ?"

He felt like an idiot , but that is what Adam as well as the mice man said : "Ask the rats nicely that you want to go home and they will lead you ."

As if the rats understood what Kevin said both of them walked in the direction where Kevin came from .

Following the rats Kevin encounted some rats , but finished them quickly with the help of his ally rats . None of the rats attack in groups of more than 3 though .

Healing the Rats like usual a System message appeared .

Looking at his MP bar Kevin could see that his MP didn't drained to 0 even as he healed the rats after they fought . He didn't healed them 10x like the first . Often only once of twice .

But his MP is still more than half of the maximum .

Since he has no idear how his MP regeneration works Kevin decided to spam his [ Lowermost Buff ] on him and the rats . Since he could end the buff whenever he wanted Kevin stopped the buff and spammed his Buff seven times .

Staring flabbergasted at the new buff Kevin felt an excited feeling in his heart .

With this title that is almost 50% of STR , DEX and VIT . That is almost like a cheat skill like in those novels !

Kevin thinked what would happen if he casted this buff on the melee fighter within his party , the Pride knights .

Dancing a small victory dance Kevin laughed . It may be true that stats like INT or WIS don't get buffed but the strongest member in his party are Adam or Mark , both are fighers . Even An and En can use this buff since they are phyisical ranged fighters .

With a big grin Kevin followed the rats while thinking when his buff would be able to reach the limit . Maybe 300% ? Or perhaps even 1000% ?

Without even realizing it Kevin walked out of the underground sewer . Only the voice of the voice man awaked Kevin from his day dream .

"It was pretty difficult at first , but as soon as i got the hang out of it was pretty easy to kill those giant rats ." replied Kevin with a smile .

"Hoho , nice that you liked it . Your party leader Adam asked me to pass a message to you . You have to come home before midnight since they will discuss something ." laughed the mice man while caressing the two rats Kevin took with him .

"Thanks ." said Kevin while rushing towards the outskirt of the city . The sunset dived the entire town in a red light .
