《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》Something is different 3

The demi-god district was surrounded on all sides by a huge wall. The wall was unsuprisingly silver and gold with intricate decorations all over it. Jonah explained this as a side effect of divinity, because there are soo many with divinity in one place the items and buildings they interact with daily have a habit of changing form. Which is another reason they normally keep to themselves here. He made sure to explain that this was the reason his wagon was decorated like this, he stressed the fact that he was not actually fond of silver and gold decorations very strongly. The gates that led into the district were also very large and were extremely shiny, they were gold and had vines made out of silver all over them. It was so realistic I couldve sworn the silver grew there naturally.
We approached the gates in Jonah's wagon and were let in without any questions. The inside of the city was not what I expected at all. It looked like a normal village in here but it gave a weird feeling. Like being in the slums of a capital city, where everyone pretended to be rich. There was patches of silver and gold everywhere, instead of a side effect it looked more like a disease. It covered the streets where people walked everyday and crawled up the sides of some buildings. There were some shops that were completely silver and some that were only half silver. We passed an alley that I couldve sworn I saw a bunch of discarded golden tools in a large pile just sitting there. It may seem like a place where everyone is rich but I can tell there is alot of unhappiness here. The wagon took us to the far back, away from all the shiny depression and into a more normal looking part of town. A little more run down for sure, but it wasnt shiny and things seemed a bit more happy over here. The driver parked us in a small shed and closed the door behind us. For some reason Jonah made me wait until the door was closed before he let me get out. When I asked him about it he just shrugged and said "They love gossip here" which didnt really answer my question.

We exited the shed through a small door on the oposite side of the way we came in and followed a small path hidden behind buildings until we reached a small court yard and a medium sized building.
"Welcome to my home! You are free to stay here until you can find a place of your own." He made a very wide gesture as he spoke and seemed very proud of his home. It wasnt bad but I cant honestly say im impressed, there was a very nice garden in the courtyard but the house looked a little run down and needed some work. But the expression on his face told me he was really proud of it so I hid my thoughts and just thanked him for his hospitality. He seemed to notice me looking at the broken down building and burst out laughing.
"HAHHAHAHAHAH Not that building. Look up." He pointed just above and behind the building I mistook for his home and saw a small island behind it that I first thought was just a hill or something. My jaw dropped as it dawned on me that he owned a fucking floating island underground. I looked at him and the smug look on his face and he laughed again, gesturing for me to follow him. He walked into the dilapidated building and I followed him, one step inside the building and I realized that the building was fake. It was completely empty except for a large platform and a hole in the roof. He stood on the platform, waiting for me and his subordinates to follow. Once we were on he kicked a lever that was on the floor and we started rising up, to his home.

During Finch's absence Vylet had grown bored. She had been through almost all of Lari's books and had nothing to do. She kept up with her training and stretches but she felt like she wasnt getting any better, so she talked to Lari about it. Lari said that the city offers free training to children over a certain age in whatever they want to do. All they had to do was go to the training hall early in the morning and talk to a counselor there to decide what they should train in. Vylet was excited and went the very next day to begin her training, leaving while everyone else was still asleep she headed for the building Lari pointed out to her yesterday. It was a large domed building within the lamia's district but every district had one. This one was just the closest to her so she went there.

When she arrived the doors were still locked so she played around a bit while waiting. She took out her daggers and practiced throwing them at a nearby tree. She managed to hit her imaginary target 4 out of 5 times, the last one was a miss because she heard a noise behind her and it threw off her aim. She turned to find the source of the noise and saw a skinny man in tight clothes watching her throw knives. He wore a dark form fitting hood and short pants that hugged his body but still allowed easy movement. These clothes also made it obvious that he was carrying lots of knives.
"tsk. tsk. tsk. Getting distracted like that can get you killed you know. I assume your here for the training?"
Vylet just looked at him and nodded.
"Good, I can see just what class is best for you based on your body type and choice of weapons. Oh, I almost forgot. My name is Kanifey. Im the counselor, and I also happen to be the instructer of one of the classes."
He led Vylet to the building and opened the front door for her, then leading her to his office. The building she could see from the short trip looked pretty bare and empty. Except for a couple class rooms and a large empty room that she assumed was used for training there was nothing here. Just a long circular halway with lots of doors, one of them leading to a medium sized office with a large desk and an extremely comfy looking chair behind it. He sat down in the chair and she sat down in the chair on the other side of the desk. Without saying a word he pulled a peice of paper out of his desk and slid it across to her. She picked up the paper and looked at it. It was filled with words but the ones that made her eyes light up were,
I want you
To be an assassin.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple

Transition and Restart, book six: Secrets unveiling
The secret of the arrivals. One that Ulf Hammargren had searched for since he became one of them but also one that was kept from the public. As more secrets unveil he unwillingly accepts why they have to be kept hidden, but when Principal Kareyoshi starts hurting his friends Ulf is caught in a moral dilemma as Christina Agerman uses her fame to bring down anyone would harm those they love. Warning: mature content. This volume shifts from the shounen / shoujo category to seinen / josei, and most definitely not in a nice way. I'm not referring to porn, which I personally wouldn't consider R-rated. Once again, you have been warned.
