Lari's house was still dark and quiet when I got back. The smell of dinner was still in the air as I found my way back to my room. I entered the room as quietly as I could and got ready for bed again. I think its almost daytime anyway, I can get a little sleep before I tell them that a psycho group of murderous cultists are here in her city in a disgusting old warehouse. Plus for some reason my chest feels warm and im really, really tired. I have to see what kevin is up to while im resting.
I slipped into bed which was softer than it was earlier and entered my inner world. Making sure to leave my body relaxed as my conciousness slipped into the other world. But this time it was different, instead of just appearing there like before I had a weird sense of being moved somewhere. I tried to open my eyes but all I could see is black and it just made me feel incrediblely nauseous. It was only a couple seconds of this before I felt myself being shoved forward and falling flat on my face in kevin's office. Startling kevin making him spill whatever he was drinking all over his desk, ruining several papers and documents and the shirt he was currently wearing.
I got off the floor and looked at him. His body looked completely solid now and showed no signs of transparency. He was now very pale and looked kind of frail with thin arms and legs. At the moment he was frantically wiping off his desk and trying to save some of the paperwork he had spilled on. The doors on the other side of the office opened to reveal a maid pushing a small cart into the office. She was dressed like a maid but she had an angry air about her, like she was really really upset about something. She saw the mess Kevin had made and that seemed to have pushed her over the edge.

"You fukin' serious? You spilled this shit again? Next time Imma take that fukin' glass and ramm it up your arse!" She said while angrily stomping over to him with two towels, throwing one in his face and then attempting to try and help him save some of the documents. I didnt really feel like helping so while they were busy I snuck out of the office and down the hall before they noticed me. My escape was almost cut short when I almost tripped over Rala as she was making her way to Kevin's office. I pulled her around the corner with me so Kevin and the maid couldnt see. Peeking around the corner to make sure that Kevin was still in there distracted by the maid I whispered to Rala and explained why I was hiding. She stifled a giggle and nodded, walking with me following her away from the office.
We went to a small room that was not far down the hall yet had a large door. Inside was a pretty normal looking bedroom, if an elephant stormed through after taking a large pink shit and smearing it around. The room was a complete mess. Books and papers were thrown about and clothes covered the floor. Bits and peices of metal that were partially assembled into something were sitting on a makeshift desk in the corner. Everthing in here looks like it was handmade. Even the room itself was carved instead of just wished up by me or Kevin.
"Rala?" I asked.
"Yes?"
"You know if you wanted something you couldve just asked me or kevin to make it for you, it wouldve taken like two seconds to make your room if you wanted. Why did you make all of this yourself?"
Rala smiled and told me.

"I like the feeling of creating something with my own hands, as you can see im not very good at it yet. But it is still extremely satisfying."
I nodded at her as I could understand how she feels, images of my black sword came into mind. The feeling I had when crafting it, molding the metal into that form and sharpening it. It was unlike anything else, to create something for yourself and use it. Also something was really bugging me about Rala. She seemed to know alot more than kevin did about this whole thing and Kevin was supposed to be my guide to this. I think its time for me to ask.
"Rala, what are you really?"
She cleaned off a spot for us to sit and froze when I asked that question. She looked at me with a sad smile and gestured for me to sit.
"That, is kind of a long story."
"Well, I have all night." I replied.
She sat down on the edge of her bed and I sat down on a chair she pulled out for me. She sighed and erased the door to the room.
"Just in case someone was eavesdropping, I have sealed the room and moved it to the edge of your domain."
Just the fact that she could do something like that made me feel like she wasnt just something that Kevin thought up. I nodded, if she wanted me dead there were most likely many easier ways to do it than this so I decided to trust her for now.
She took another deep breath and started talking.

Lari had a bad habit of sleepwalking (Slithering) and often Lamis would wake up in bed and find her sister tightly wrapped onto her tail. She recently thought that she had that under control as it has not happened for a while. But the presence of guests had interfered with her efforts. At the time finch had returned to bed and entered his inner world, she was slithering around the room stacking things. Neither Lari nor Lamis could figure out why she did this and none of the professionals she saw about it could help her. So she normally ended up tieing herself to her bed, but this night she had forgotten. She managed to open her door and wander down the hall into the room Finch was currently in. She started stacking everything she could find and leaving little piles everywhere. She even stacked the 'evidence' that Finch had recovered tonight. But when she was stacking the folded robes, a certain book fell out and opened itself on the floor. Leaking an ominous aura into the room. Lari ran out of things to stack and left the room, leaving the open book on the floor.

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.

Give Light to Dark Thoughts
When the heart bleeds and nothing can heal it, the only thing left to do is write. Thoughts are volatile, sometimes they are cruel and other times are kind, nevertheless both are needed. If the pain didn't exist no one would know what happiness feels like. This book of poems is the moments when just for a second dark is all that it is, so why not share and give it light, hopefully someone will feel identify with at least one poem. Not all the poem will be in a negative connotation, and the images I put will be from Pinterest.
