The girls followed me to lari's building, both of them looked really drained. I wonder if talking was the only thing that boy was doing to them. Maybe they just need some food and rest, Im in dire need of some food as well. We made it to the building and I got to show off my second-hand knowledge of working the elevator, which got a satisfying response from both the girls and I couldnt help but grin smugly. We got to the top without a problem but then I realized I didnt actually know how to get to her room. All I know is that her room had the biggest doors, all the hallways looked alike with the painted rock walls and random potted plants.

I was saved from wandering around like an idiot when Lamis slithered down the hall and wrapped Vylet and Malady in a hug. I didnt even have time to feel left out as Lari was right behind her.

"Lamis wanted to greet you at the elevator and she realized she didnt tell you how to find us. See these markings?"

She raised a slender arm and pointed at a large door nearby. It had a piece of metal attached to it in the shape of a large cheetah with 5 large fangs above it.

"Each door is marked with an animal and a number of fangs. If the number of fangs is increasing you are getting to our door. Also ours is the only door with a coiled snake on it and no fangs. It is a special room reserved for the Lamias representative."

She led us down the hall and I made sure to pay attention to the doors this time. Each one did have an animal and a number of fangs, but some of them had decorations on the animal. There was one door that had a hawk and they had put real feathers on it, with cheap gems for eyes. There was another that had a lion and the lion had a little hat on it with what looked like black glasses. Malady laughed at that one, I didnt really get why it was funny.

We got back to her room and were welcomed by a thick, delicious smell in the air as soon as she opened the door. It smelled like roasted vegetables and heavily seasoned meat which cause me to salivate immediately. This intense smell only intensified as we got closer to the dining room where nerie was waiting next to a table loaded with all kinds of dishes.

"We normally dont eat like this but today is a special occasion." Lari stated. I dont think anyone was really listening though as all eyes were glued onto the table. She noticed this and smiled, only Lamis and Nerie has been there to appreciate her cooking for a long time.

"Well go ahead, enjoy yourselves." She said with a big smile on her face as she took her seat at the head of the table. Each of us followed her footsteps and found a seat at the table. Nerie started serving us but we took Laris words to heart and just loaded our own plates. She looked confused but Lari just chuckled at her and told her to sit down and join them.

Vold was upset. His taking over this town and gloating over Ternnen made him happy at first. But as soon as he started making plans to take the next town his spies told him that the royal army was investigating something nearby. So he had to lay low for a while, he couldnt start something with the royal army so close by. The royal army had no love for the nobles but those cities and towns were still part of the kingdom and they had a duty to protect them. He grumbled curses and insults at whatever brought them here and headed down to look at Ternnen. Seeing the broken man and his wife Isa always cheered him up a bit, once it stops making him feel better he would immeadiately get rid of them. The dungeon was pretty quiet today, all the crying, screaming and threatening had finally died down as they realized that no one cared. Vold looked at all the captive nobles as he passed them. None of them bothered to even say anything anymore, all of their pleading and begging only made him laugh in their faces. As he got closer to his favorite captive he heard weird moans coming from that direction.

As he arrived at his destination he started stupified at the cause of the sound. The slave that had been tortured in so many ways by Ternnen had mounted him. The slave had Ternnen pinned to the floor with his face to the ground ravashing him furiously. Looking at how broken and bruised Ternnen was, vold guessed he was bored of beating him. Ternnen's wife was staring at him, her eyes wide open. Vold thought she was in shock as he was, but then he noticed one of her hands was moving furiously underneath her filthy dress. He was thoroughly disgusted at this and left as fast as he could. Knowing Ternnen was that slaves plaything made him happy, but that doesnt mean he wanted to see that. He went back to his office and started organizing the finances of the city he had taken. Eventually he would hire someone to run the city, but at the moment he didnt have anyone he trusted enough to run things so he did it himself until the royal army leaves. Then he would find someone.

Kevin had finished with the power generation for now so he focused on ways to generate more divinity. He decided to start by making a factory but instead of creating a product, this factory would modify mana intself and create divinity. Generating more divinity as a by-product of the production itself!

Kevin almost patted himself of the back for such a great idea. But now that he had the idea, he still had to find a way to do it. Turning mana into divinity is hard as they are two completely different types of energy. The fact that no matter what he does it will generate divinity as long as it is happening in Finch's inner world made him feel a little better. But he still wanted to do it this way, because if he succeded then he would be creating divinity at a large rate. He would also be able to duplicate it as many times as the inner world can handle to create as much divinity in a day that most gods spend lifetimes to aquire. He cracked his neck and created a small empty hallway with a door opposite of the power generation room that he labeled 'Engineering'. The other door led to a small dusty workshop filled with books and weird creatures in cages that he imagined. He sat down at a desk and conjured up some paper and pencils to start planning the factory. He also started plans for some helpers, he would need some help to run a factory after all.
