《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》Under attack... Again

I concentrate on condensing blue mana into a solid ball and strengthen my arm with red mana. Im tired of being chased and attacked, I need to get stronger.
I aimed for the closest one of our pursuers and launched my attack at his head. The blue ball of mana soared through the air but just as it was about to hit him he whipped out his sword and smacked it away.
Dammit, these arent just some dumb bandits. At least the guy in the front has some skill.
I summoned up some more blue mana and this time I didnt bother to condense it. I dropped the blob of blue mana onto the road. Waiting till one of the bandits was just about to run over it and then I used it to create pure force shooting the bandit and the horse straight up. Apparently my control of mana is still a little rusty as the horse was sent up spinning and not shot straight up. Not exactly a bad thing as I saw the horse landed on top of him, crushing him. Also some of the other guys couldnt slow down in time as they were in full gallop, causing a massive pile of bandits and horses squirming on the ground.
The lead bandit was still hot on our backs, with a couple men who managed to avoid crashing somehow. I dropped another blob of blue mana on the ground. They didnt just rush in blindly this time though, instead they went to the edges of the road so the trap wouldnt do anything to them.
I didnt think it would work twice.
I pulled myself back in from the window and looked around for something I could use. Other than blue mana and using red mana to reinforce my body for physical attacks Im not very good at much else. I only know about the five basic types of mana and can use blue mana to attack with force but that is the only one I can use to attack.
I spend a couple minutes looking for anything I can use to fight them but I couldnt find anything.

I stick my head back out the window to see that the bandits had taken out some crossbows and were shooting at us. Some of the arrows had embedded themselves into the carriage next to the window, giving me an idea. I pulled out one of the arrows, trying to keep it intact as I did. I collected a couple of them and went back into the carriage. Checked the arrows to make sure that they could still be used.
Two were unusable but there were at least 3 that I could use. I decided to try out something. I leaned back out the window and held an arrow in my left hand as I held onto the carriage with my right. I let the arrow rest in my palm and closed my hand around it, leaving some space for the arrow to pass through it. I tried to aim and let a bunch of blue mana settle behind the arrow. Letting the energy build and build behind the arrow, building pressure and force until I unleash it.
I saw the bandits looking at me curiously, I probably look kind of stupid right now but they wont be laughing much longer. I angled the arrow to aim at the leader and used a little red mana to activate the blue. Letting all that force and energy flow through my hand, shooting the arrow faster than I was expecting. Burying itself in his chest before passing through the other side. Well, Parts of it came out the other side. I think the force that the arrow traveled at must have cause the arrow to shatter when it pierced him.
The leader's body flew off of his horse and hit the ground, the horse still running for a bit before slowing down. The other two look terrified and suprised.
Heh, I bet they have never seen an arrow fly that fast.
I pulled myself in and almost collapsed on the ground as I got very dizzy. I had to fight to keep myself from emptying my stomach everywhere. Maybe I used too much mana at once, I really need to practice more.

There where two more to deal with, I had to keep fighting. I Looked back out the window and they were gone. I guess they left after I took out their boss. Well, that makes things so much easier.
I turned towards the front of the carriage and yelled.
"The bandits are gone! you can slow down now!"
I saw Vylet poke her head out of the front compartment and look at me with a confused expression.
"What bandits?! I let Malady drive, apparently she really like to go fast."
I almost slapped myself in the face.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I give up.
I pulled myself back in and sat on the bed. Absorbing more mana to replace what I lost and meditating. My control on mana is a bit worse than I thought it was. Using mana in complicated ways is way harder on the mind than just throwing it. Once I was done I added more black and white mana into the core, it made me feel stronger before so maybe making it bigger with help even more.
I was doing that for a while, right before I was going to stop, I noticed something a little weird about the core. There were strands of gold wrapped around it now. Even the area around it was covered in a soft golden light. There was also a small light floating around it. A single golden speck that flickered with gold light every now and then.
It was weird but it felt good, looking at it made me feel warm. Like I was being hugged with a warm furry blanket, near a fireplace. When I focused on that speck I felt tired and everything went black. Moments later I opened my eyes again to find out I was back in that weird place that I filled with rooms again.
Maybe that speck that I saw was acutally this place? All I have to do is concentrate on it and I can come back here. Lets test it.
"I want to wake up" Just like last time, as soon as I said those words I wake up on the bed in the carriage. I look outside and the sun is in the same position, so I wasnt even in there that long.
Im not really sure what to do with that place, but hey I guess I can go there when im bored and mess with it. Maybe if I make that place bigger, then the outside will grow as well. I can try it I guess.
I lay down and close my eyes, focusing on the speck that was orbiting the core. Once more entering what im just going to call my base, not really sure what else to call it. Going to work on expanding it outward. I thought that just having corridors and a bunch of empty rooms would be boring so I made it seem like the whole base was underground. I even made one of the corridors open up to a nice little patio in front of a large endless looking chasm. For warmth and light I made another cave wall far enough away so that the lava wouldnt be too close and made some holes in it. Making them leak lava into the chasm.
I changed my mind and instead of making it an endless chasm, I just made it a pool of lava far below. I also added a couple more cave walls with streams of lava coming out of them.
I kept on adding things while checking on the size of the speck every now and then. But no matter how much I added, the size of the speck never changed.
I gave up after a short while and just went back to working on my mana control. Conjuring little bubbles of each type of mana and trying to mix them together. While circulating mana through my body at the same time. It was difficult and very hard on my mind but, It was to improve my control while also experimenting with better ways to use my mana. I had to do it to get stronger so I can stop running from things and face them head on.

Necromancer's Knight: a Light in Death
It was dark, pitch black. Where am I? Where was I last? I died. Am I still dead? A light so dim, yet so blindingly bright to me appeared in a vertical line. And my body continued to move until it was outside of the crypt. It was night, but there was a full moon. And a little girl in front of me. She clutched a black book to her chest as if it were the last thing she had left in this world. I've heard stories of this, I imagined the possibility, but I never thought it would happen to me. Tears streaked down her cheeks. She choked the words out. "Please, save my papa!"
