《The most human elf in Shaylet - Paused until further notice》Dreams of grandeur

The last thing I remember was falling asleep in the carriage. Surrounded by the smell of meat and spices, trying not to get hungry and fall asleep. Where the hell am I now?

The place I wake to find myself in is empty. More than just empty there was nothing, no walls no ceiling, no furniture. Yet somehow I could tell I was in a room, something was telling me that I was in a room. I tried to move but my body wasnt responding. I started panicing, I couldnt feel anything nor see anything but white in any direction. I wanted to look down to make sure my body was still there, but I couldnt do that either. I focused on moving my head, trying to look down or anywhere and it worked! My vision started shifting downward slowly and I was happy I managed to move something. Till I realized I didnt actually have a body.

There was nothing below me or above me, my body was just, not there. I tried to calm down and think.

If the last thing I remember is falling asleep, then this must be a dream right?

y - yeah, This has got to be a dream.

Convincing myself this was a dream was pretty easy. I didnt have a body and I could move by focusing on a spot and willing myself to go there. I even managed to create some small objects by imagining them, which was the final thing I needed to beleive that this is a dream. It was very empty in here so I decided to fill it with things.

First I created walls, I made a small room for myself and then built around it. I liked the was the carriage was designed but id rather have everything out in the open for now, since I dont think im limited on space. I made long corridors that conected to my room out of smooth metal. I created lots of empty rooms, none really had an intended purpose yet but I would come back and alter it later.

After I was satisfied and had a nice little base going with tons of space and lots of empty rooms. I went back to my room and started adding furniture. First I made it alot bigger, then I added a forge in the corner. One of those fancy forges I saw at a nobles house once. It had the bellows built into the forge itself so it was easier to use. I made sure it was fully stocked with various metals before I moved on. I created a low wall around it and moved to the oposite side of the room. There I made a bed and a table with some chairs. I made the bed really soft and squishy, not too much to be uncomfortable though. I put blood red sheets on it and added a canopy over it for decoration. I added a small fountain in the middle of the room, it was big enough so why not. The sound of water is kind of soothing anyway.

In another empty corner of the room I added a large wardrobe and some chests for storage. Im not entirely sure what kind of clothes to put into the wardrobe so I just add some random robes and clothes ive seen or worn.

Im feeling pretty good about the room so far. Near the forge I made sure the floor was stone but the rest of the room was covered in laqured wood flooring. With a large rug under the bed and the wardrobe. I made the walls out of a warm colored stone, decorated with paintings I have seen before. Some I just used some of my memories and imprinted them in a picture frame. They seemed alive somehow, but I liked it.

Next to the wardrobe I made a door into the room next to my bedroom and made that room my library. Every book ive ever read that I can remember I stored here. Needless to say there werent that many, which made the library look a bit pitiful. So I added blank books to make it seem like I actually had a large collection.

I had it two stories high with a spiral staircase going to the second floor. I saw a painting once with this design in it, It always stuck with me. It was a very nice design, I even added some windows. But windows to white space are kind of boring, showing other rooms would be boring too so I had a different idea. I made it so that it looked like the library was in an ancient castle with a constant rainstorm outside. I added some lights around, just some bright crystals mounted in metal sockets around the place. I dont really think I need to put lights around, everything looks well lit to me.

After that I got kind of bored and just made lots of random rooms like a huge heated bath and a large pool. For fun I made a door that opened up on a large vessel in an endless sea. But when I tried to make fish I ran into some problems. I imagined a fish as clearly as I could and focused on what I knew about them. But I only suceeded In creating an empty fish. It had no organs or bones it was just skin. It was a little creepy, I just threw it into the sea and gave up on trying to create living things. Maybe I need to know more about them or something.

The place I had created was amazing, there were long hallways with doors leading to all kinds of places. One led deep inside a jungle, another led to the top of a huge mountain. One even led to an underground cave system. I spread out some light crystals evenly down the hall. I didnt want the hallways to look boring so I added some decorations to the hall. The smooth metal walls now had solfty glowing engravings. All this creating is fun, but after a while I get bored. For a dream this is taking a while. I want to wake up now.

I tried focusing on that thought, willing it to happen. But nothing changed, im still in my floaty dream form. I sighed and tried saying it.

"I want to wake up."

As soon as the words were spoken I found myself back in the carriage. Which was bumping all over the place. I get up and poke my head out a window to see what was going on. I look in front of us and see nothing but a poorly maintained road, which explained why it was soo bumpy. I turn and look behind us to see a large group of bandits riding horses chasing after us.

I conjure up some blue mana and get ready.

Time for some fancy shootin'
