《Old Work》Viktoria and Elliot + Important Notice!

The Whitensen goddess figure had her golden tresses brushed away by one of her most loyal servants, Elliot. He was a young adult, appearing a few years older than Viktoria, and his build was more on the skinny spectrum. Elliot beheld a head of wispy chocolate locks and dark, soulless eyes. Half the time his expression was unemotional, the other half was intense concentration. As he tended to his lady, every movement he made was carefully planned, and not a moment could be wasted. Often, in the past, Viktoria scolded him for being so detailed-driven. Never did he change his ways. As a Lancaster servant of nearly one year, Elliot took advantage of every second to improve his work ethic and please Viktoria in all the ways possible.

Typically, maids would attend to the hair and dressing of noble ladies. However, the Lancaster household could catch many nobles in surprise. Viktoria Estella Lancaster allowed this man to help her lace up her grommets and slip her feet into her slippers. He was like any handmaid, bringing tea and desserts, providing the necessary work for her studies. He would even take the time out of his day to ensure that her room remained spotless. Elliot was absorbed in perfecting his work, so there couldn’t possibly be any affairs waiting to jump into the gossip circle. Sure, it has been spoken of many times, but who would dare to utter such nonsense when the crown prince is breathing down everyone’s back at the mere mention of her name? Privately, it has been thought, but the Lady Lancaster almost everybody’s mother knew never entered a relationship.

Abstaining from the trivialities of love, Viktoria took to the books, finding pleasure in the romance supplied in forbidden novels.

That is, she used to.

“Can you believe his highness just waltzed away like that? I was trying to convince him to take a leisurely walk through Edithan. Isn’t that what we did years ago? Why is it so wrong for me to request such a thing from him now?” the famously composed noble lady questioned her servant. There needn’t be a response, for she continued to ramble on in exasperation. “I’ve been so kind to the crown prince, and he simply shakes me off like that?”

“My Lady, stop moving your head. I am having difficulty brushing,” Elliot told her in a monotonous voice. She sighed, placing her hands upon her vanity.

Watching her reflection in the mirror, she inspected the amethyst irises she bestowed and glanced over her glistening hair, which was being diligently teased away. At last, her eyes darted towards her body, which was lean and had decently sized breasts, nothing to be remarkably impressed by. At least, Viktoria didn’t have to remind others that her eyes were up here. She had lovely facial features, so her physical appeal wasn’t exactly lacking either.

To be known as the beauty with the brains was a title she toiled hours for.
