The queen, is she a queen? with the council system it doesn't seem so but the mermaid girls are called princesses.

Maybe there was a royalty system but that was abolished and so the princess status still stays, either way she wants my help for the kingdom, it's likely the same things Merleona asked of me.

Yeah it's the same things and it seems like it will take longer to say since Merleona was direct.

'I understand and agree' I say and she is schocked and the merman guards who came down are shocked as well.

'just like that?' she says and I answer 'I already know about the goals the merman species want from me and that is why I have arrived.'

Ooohh the merman soldiers go.

They are getting fired up from this, I am like a propaganda piece.

The gigantic whales and sea creatures don't seem impressed, I guess I am just another fish type to them but the whales are smart so they should care right? the whale that are even further along the evolution size must know. 

We head to the mansion palace and we head to the most important room or we should have.

Before that though, the princesses want to show their mother their new found strenght.

A training room underneath the mansion, there's space under the mansion too, I check with radar and not everywhere has a underground room which is for the foundation not to crumble of most likely.

100 x 100 meter room with weapons, seats and not much else, just for soldier training when I guess.

No one else is here but us and they begin.

'Mother we want to go along with the holy fish' says Mermi.

'I thought as much however you are not strong enough for this journey.'

'That's why we've had the holy fish train us, we can hold our own in the open seas now, even Mermi' says Merleona while preparing a stance with her trident.

Both of them start a debuff spell and it's succesful, the element of surprise is the key there.

Merleona keeps up the quick physical debuffs while Mermi does magical debuffs.

Their mom does not have a trident, a handicap since she is too strong otherwise.

She moves and does her own buffs, she's quick even with all the moves they got it.

The spells don't hit her anymore so they switch to buffs, Mermi buffs her sister more who fights her mom head on.

She's faster and stronger but she isn't connecting any hits, the difference of experience.

[whirlpool] a whirpool engulfs Merleona and stops her.

Mom goes for Mermi but she already buffed her speed and went around near the whirpool.

The whirpool disappears and water magic and normal magic attacks are launched by Merleona and mom.

They clash and even out.

Mom closes in again as the debuffs wear out but Mermi backs away as Merleona keeps mom in check and furthers her distance soon afterwards too.

Mom can't get attack Merleona head on because of the trident however her magic attacks are not working either.

[whirlpool] gets avoided from then on with Merleona backing off when her mom tries an attack up close instead of dodging her hits.

The sisters keep their distance away from her in this way for 10 min, a stalemate.

They never told me about a stalemate so I guess they instinctively switched to that when they realized they couldn't win.

'That's enough then' says mom, 'this won't go anywhere anymore.'

'You girls did well, you may go with the holy fish.'

YAAAY the all hug and Mermi cries from joy.

'Mermi you grew alot, from not being able to fight to good buff support while Merleona knew to change her strategy when victory wasn't possible'.

More hugging with all 3, seems they're having a family moment.

We go to the room now, we are in the middle of the place so the most secured place in the mansion.

There's a meeting room where they discuss their info and make plans, it's heavily secured with thick walls.

To the side of it are the rooms for the highest royalty and military generals including mom.

We go to her room and since she doesn't want to use that room, seems this is a personal matter instead of an all around one.

This should be why they want me to help with the traitors yet they can't just kill them? power balance and public appearance still matter even in an ocean world thanks to intelligence.

I've only been thinking about the mermen's side too but there should be other kingdoms right and some individual sea creatures powerful enough to matter in these matters.

It could turn bad if those traitors have some connections to them and they start a war.

They sit or is it lay in some fancy hammocks around a big round table, is this also something they adopted from the land dwellers?

Mermi is blushing, Merleona is flustered and mother has her hands on her mouth in shock but manages to speak.

'Even the holy fish would have these urges, yes this natural afterall however we don't have the organs for it.'

They all start to calm down and we continue.
