I see lots of eggs laid around, the fish are breeding as expected.

I won't stay though since I'm not risking the night time but man these whale rides take a long time, hours upon hours for each trip.

Things go as planned and I swiftly get some baby fishes as I avoid the predators.

Nearing the gigantic crab's region I see alot more crabs, I guess they bred last season but I won't enslave them incase it comes for revenge.

I have 6000~ fish now after a few weeks.

As we head back down as usual I notice dozens of shark creatures.

Black colored with only small and medium sized ones [Darkness Shark] [darkness ray] [dark vision] [dark bite] [dark poison] [poison resistance]

I notice them coming from a small hole in the ground further down that oozes darkness.

The sharks must have been affected by it thus gaining its attribute.

They seem like trouble but they shouldn't be able to take on these whales and I do have the sea snake with me wrapped around the whale's tail in case of emergency.

'Wooo' the whale makes a sound and slaps a shark with its tail, the others do the same but not everyone connects and the sharks are biting successfully.

Darkness is oozing from the bitten spots, that's the poison which looks more like a dark curse.

I'll try the slave order, maybe it'll work, OBEY ME..nothing.

The shark's attacks are slowing down since the whales are getting far away from the hole, some try to attack the shark I'm on so I use my holy light and it seems really effective to drive them off.

I sense something on my radar and with ki, [huge darkness shark] is underneath us.

Suddenly a massive amount of darkness comes out of the hole but we're already far from there.

It isn't coming up either so that means there's something like an ocean cave below and is thick enough to not let the shark break through.

The whales are hurt but we'll make it in time so none will die this time, that darkness spot is great though, you can get darkness powers just by being in it which is likely due to the magical area itself producing darkness and the strong darkness creatures pumping out more of it though I wonder what will happen if the surface breaks and it all dissipates into the vast ocean.

Also how did that cave form underwater this deep? it might be something similar but with earth magic, I'd like to get more attributes just to have variety.

Heh, nice I'll keep thinking now too but I don't want that skill where you divide your mind into separate parts to handle the magic/skills better, I want to be myself, no mutiple head forms either for me.

Whales arrive at the mega city and we get off like usual.

I only take several hundred fish with me so I have time to escape if needed since bringing everyone would be too much.

It's getting brighter each day, summer really is here and there's more food too with all the plants growing.

Now that I think of it how will I survive winter? ah I really need to get inside a city.

Days pass and the merman are going out in bigger numbers now.

The extra light must open up hunting spots deeper in, not like I'd risk going down there, a skill that can let me magically see others from afar would be nice.

Something is odd, they usually come back by the end of the day but one of the huge squads aren't back.

They could have gone to another city but if they were beaten that should be a decent blow to the overall military since they go out with plenty of firepower but then again they're only backing the whales so it's not like they're going out for war, maybe huntng or transport.
