《SC to MC》Vol 3: Chap 7: Encounter

Thanks to everyone who commented in my earlier post.
I've decided to not end it like this and write to atleast finish the dungeon arc.
I'm back to floor one's safe room.
"Huff.. huff.. huff.." (Me)
Even though I reached in the time I imagined I would, the take on my SP was a little too extreme. I, who has my max SP at forty two thousand, am only left with about a thousand of it left.
"Huff..Note to self: Never..huff.. run at top speed..huff.. for extended..huff.. periods of time..huff.." (Me)
I flopped down in a corner to regain my breath. Shirley was sleeping on her bed in open view. Me and Pauli were expected to not come for a long time so I gave her most of her stuff back which included the bed she was sleeping on.
"The three adventures are fifteen minutes out. They will most definitely encounter the dungeon." (Trichia)
Right then, Trichia gave me an update to their position. Her details aren't always exact as she can't actually predict their next coarse of action. I mean, what if they decided to rest for some time or get down to eat? Maybe they suddenly decide to walk in a new direction? Or they encounter an enemy they can't win against? There are numerous things to look out for.
Well, I guess it was better I came early here. Now I have enough time to regain some of my lost SP. It won't up to full but should regenerate enough for a decent fight.
I lay on the dungeon floor to rest. Even though I'm sure there aren't any sweepers here, the floor was quite cleen. Well, it looked dirty but was still clean.. Its hard to describe.
After resting for about 10 minutes, came Trichia's voice again.
"Time to get ready. They're at the entrance." (Trichia)
I was a bit taken aback by the suddenness.
"That was earlier than expected. Status." (Me)

I had regained about 7000 more SP. Even though it was a far cry from my originial, it should still be more than that of my opponents combined. Well, we're not even sure here whether there'll be a fight or not. Maybe they'll be nice people who believe in peace and negotiations.
5 minutes later..
*boom*
*slash*
*rip*
*thump*
*swish*
*plup*
*whoosh*
What the fuck is with these guys!? Right as I came out to talk to talk to them, they looked at each other and gave me a most devious smile. Then said something about 'getting lucky' and started attacking me!

(And what's with these guy's skills!?)
Each of them were using a variety of skills. I had already seen at least 2 kinds of fireballs, the normal orange and one white. Then there were those strange buffs that suddenly increase their speed. They use that right before a slash to gain advantage with an element of surprise. My shirt was already ripped in a few places and a few cuts could be seen here and there. This buff also helped them evade me easier. Even their coordination was amazing. Even though they'd die at a single one of my strikes, but I couldn't do it without getting stabbed in the back.
"There are auctions in your world where you can buy ingame stuff from other users with real money." (Trichia)
As I dodged another slash, in came Trichia's voice explaining their skills.
(Rich bastards.)
Well, only a minute had passed since the starting of the fight and I was yet to get serious. But before I go and bang their heads together, let me tell you a bit about what I can see about them.
All three of them were versatile in that neither of them was a single stat oriented. They had agility based equipment but still used occasional spells here and there. All of their equipment were light, making their movements nimble. One of them had a rapier, another had an estoc and the last one had a dagger and I had no doubt that these were high quality items. Although I couldn't see but they must have had some accessories too just like my [Alther Bony Necklace] which increases defence. Last but not the least, they are probably friends in RL or have atleast travelled together for a long time as they can coordinate their attacks without any signals. Even my party wasn't that united.
*swish*
I dodged a swipe from a dagger.
*whoosh*
And a thrust from the estoc.
Its a pain to attack back also. I thought that going in without a weapon would increase my chances of peace talks by looking less threatening but they mistook my intentions and took it as 'easy prey'. Well, there's a first time for everything. Atleast I'll remember it next time should something similar happen again.
*jijijijiji*
Suddenly there was sound of electric charges jumping or moving or whatever they're supposes to do in air. I could see the guy with the estoc back off and prepare for a spell. It looked like a big one as it took some time to prepare. It looked dangerous so they were probably saving it for something troublesome. I guess they found me troublesome enough, huh?

While the lightening guy prepared, the other two attacked with more aggression probably to keep me off him so that he wouldn't be interrupted.
*burst*
Ah.. My punch finally landed. Looks like they were running low on mana and decided to not use their buffs. The one on whom my punch landed, his head burst open and blood splattered everywhere.
(Ugh.)
Though I had done this kind of crazy attack before, it was a first where the remains were a headless human body. My attack got the dagger guy and the ones left seemed to panic. The one who was preparing magic launched his lightening attack at me without proper aiming in a hurry. It was so fast that it would have been hard to dodge even for me. I dropped to the ground right as the the spell caster pointed his hands towards me. The next thing I knew, there was a bright flash and a huge sound along with slight shaking of earth. As I looked up, I saw the lightening guy huffing with a single knee to the ground. Beside him was the rapier guy looking at me with disbelief. He probably didn't expect me to dodge that. Though with my health, I doubt it would have killed me even if I were to be hit directly. Two might do the trick but a single one was unlikely. Well, even if I was sure I wouldn't die, taking it head on is no fun task so atleast trying to avoid it is necessary. Whether it hits or not in the end, is a different matter. Taking the attack head on just because you're sure you wouldn't die from it would be.. well, stupid.
Hmm. These guys don't look like they're in the mood to fight anymore. I guess that makes it easier for me to dispose of them.
Ah, one of them starting running....away. The one who threw the lightening was still still on his knees so he wasn't any trouble. The rapier guy just left him and made a run for it. Now that makes me angry. Why would you abandon your comrade? You guys fought together, so dying together is a must right?
I instantly accelerated and caught up to him in the next second. He was probably running low on SP as he was very slow. Or were they always this slow? I decelerated right as I was beside him.
"You want to race?" (Me)
I gave him a smile and punched his face again. Now I was bloodied in the blood of 2 people.
(Ah.)
As I looked back, I saw the last one standing(or kneeling), eat something. In the next moment, he fell on his back and didn't move again.
(Oh, looks like he committed suicide.)
"You're so cruel. Hihihihi." (Trichia)
Trichia degraded my status from cute to cruel with a giggle.
"Not my fault they started attacking me all of a sudden. I tried to talk!" (Me)
"I know, I know. But you COULD have gone a bit easy on them." (Trichia)
"And you think going in to fight without a weapon isn't going easy?" (Me)
"Yes, but bursting their heads with your fists isn't." (Trichia)
"That was....inevitable." (Me)
I tried to make an excuse in the end. Well, I do agree that I should have held back my punches a bit.
As I waited a few seconds, the bodies of the three started to disappear along with any blood splatters. I also got cleaner, as a reault.
"Phew. Guess I should head back?" (Me)
I started walking while thinking about my next coarse of action.
(I should go back to the second floor's safe room. Going all the way to thirteenth will take too long and I don't even have enough SP. Stopping on the first floor might get awkward as I would have to leave again soon to get to Pauli. Hmm. Also, I don't think it'd be a good idea to tell Shirley that I just murdered 3 people cuz. she's bound to ask me what I'm doing here if she sees me.)
"Rota.. You....what.. are you doing here?" (Shirley)
Aaaannddd I meet Shirley around the corner.
(Oh Trichia why?)
"Ohh... I really like the sound of that~" (Trichia)
(Glad you're happy and all, but I'm kind of in a bind here.)
As I get my attention back to Shirley, I notice her eyes a little watery.
"I missed you!" (Shirley)
She said that and jumped on me, hugging me tightly.
I was a bit taken aback at first but then hugged her back and whispered in her ear.
"I missed you too." (Me)
Suddenly, she sepearted from me and....
Slap!
Okay, this time I was more than just a 'bit' taken aback.
"Where the hell were you!? You said you'd be back the next day! Do you have ANY idea how worried I was!?" (Shirley)
She shouted while grabbing and pulling my shirt.
"I'm sorry?" (Me)
Would it be okay if I told her I forgot?
This time, she pulled me from where she was grabbing me shirt and gave me a kiss, a looooong one.
(Does this mean I'm forgiven?)
After that, we got engaged in some activities which caused my SP to plummet to single digits.
Okay, I'm soooo gonna be late.

8 741Prince of Destiny
Karl is the last prince of a royal house that has been overthrown by brutal revolutionaries. Orphaned by the revolutionaries, he was rescued and has been raised in secret by Leevana, a green skinned night-hag, for the past ten years. When Karl turns sixteen and is old enough to embrace his destiny, he and Leevana must set out on a quest to find his royal grandmother. But the depraved new leader of the revolutionaries, Joe Steel, is on their trail... Somewhat inspired by the basic concept of Don Bluth's fairy tale animated feature, purporting to be based on the myths surrounding Anastasia Romanov. I don't think this counts as a fanfiction, because it does not use anyone else's characters and it is in its own self-contained world, but please keep in mind the inspiration. Leevana and Karl are completely original characters, but Joe Steel, the bigger bad, is inspired by Stalin. Maybe let me know if you think it should have a fanfiction tag or not.
