《The Unforgiving World》Chapter 11

I finally finished damn 4 hours and I don't feel like I wrote a lot.
Ch 11: Can't save everyone
Before the fight of Goburi Forest began, a little exchange between Angels began. In the capital of the Angels kingdom, Krios located at the very northern part of the continent Haiizi.
An exchange between angels and an Archangel took place.
The angel Tis emerged from the long twisting corridor along with three other angels, the one farthest from the left was called Zoa, the one to his right was called, Giro, the one to his right was Tis and the one to Tis right was called Bilvorax.
Tis was a man with short dark red hair and a strong frame with plenty of muscle, no facial hair or scars, his height reached 170 cm.
Bilvorax was a man with a height of over 190 cm, his body consisted of only muscle and he had a red mohawk on his head with a scar on his face reaching left to right going up diagonally from the center of his mouth towards his left eye.
Zoa farthest to their left was a woman that looked like she was 10 with a size close to 162 cm, and had no womanly features, flat as a pancake and as curve less as a straight line, she had twin tails and an eye-patch over her left eye.
Last was Giro, he had clear white skin and a head that shined in the sun as he was bald, his height reached 172 cm and his eyes shined green.
Tis being the leader of this group was the only one to speak to the Arch Angel.
Master Kou we managed to capture a Devil’s spawn like you ordered, there were several complications as two full teams were wiped out and Aigoh is in critical condition and might not make it. The angel Tis reported in his best detail but with a bit of sadness as he felt they lost too much.
(teams are comprised of 5 Angels.)
Do not worry Tis, it is an acceptable loss. I take it you locked the Devil’s Spawn in the dungeon? Nui had retorted curiously.
Their deaths were not in vain. said a beautiful woman with long Snow White hair that reached the bottom of her shoulder blades however it was in a ponytail behind her head, her hair split down the middle in the front to show her forehead and beautiful red eyes.
Yes Master Kou, it is in the dungeon. Tis answered diligently
Good, now we only need 2 more keys in order to open the seal to the void realm. Capturing a Viis will be impossibly more difficult…

Where did you say the heroes were at the moment? Kou wondered and asked her question with a tone of compassion
The report we received indicated that they were last seen 2 days ago at the Village of Qi, it is a small village north of Azol heading towards Goburi Forest, would you like us to go kill them like all the other heroes? Tis asked curiously
Are they heading for the Bathalli Hills? and no I want you to send Vitoria's team to find them, I want you and Corpious's group to go to Artok and capture it, capture all the humans and bring them back here but leave Corpious's group behind to defend the city. Kou said in a flat tone
Yes as you wish Master, is there anything else? Tis asked as to ensure there was nothing more.
Yes I want an Angel unrelated to all teams to follow Vitoria's team and have them report after the victory of Vitoria's team.
I also want Vitoria's team to lead hit and runs on their capital after the deaths of the heroes as they will be weak as they summoned more heroes. Kou answered and gave instructions
Yes of course master, I will pass along your orders to the other teams however it will take 2-3 days before they reach the Bathalli Hills and if the heroes aren't there it may take another day or two to track them down.
I understand, I will leave it to you then I will go visit this Devil's spawn.
Thus with that the Angel Tis went to inform the other team's of their missions and Arch-Angel Kou went to the dungeon to meet the devil who would be used as a sacrifice to break the seal to the void realm.
After the fight Paul and Lucielle had began searching for the captured villagers, Anastasia tried to join the search however I had Shiro grab her and bring her back as she needed her rest.
So the only ones searching for the villagers were Paul and Luceille, the rest of us were sitting around the campfire talking as Brooke began cooking with the tools we brought along from the village of Qi.
we had collected quite a bit of Riv's(Rabbit) and Filt's(Snake) that were caught by me using my soul corruption and Anastasia's quick movement, and even had some raw Barthuma (cow) meat from the village. Luceille left for the Vampire tents to search for survivors and Paul went into the cave.
I wanted to go with them but I would just be a burden as I was exhausted from overusing my skills.

"Your shadow skill is so cool you were all over the place in like a second and killed 4 goblins in under 3 seconds." Shiro said excitedly while smiling at her.
"I can only use it 3 times though, I am not sure if I am able to use it 3 times or if I could only use it 3 times because I used them and waited before using them again, and then there was Yesterday when I was only able to use it once although maybe I could have used it twice if I hadn't used my other skills." Anastasia said trying to figure out how her skills worked. Shiro talked to her as I began talking to Brooke.
Ares fell asleep on my lap due to extreme exhaustion and getting the crap beaten out of her by that Orc, If I wasn't with her she would have died for sure.
Brooke had her eyes on Ares and I'm sure she was staring strong enough to burn a hole through Ares head, I looked at her and smiled and asked if anything was wrong.
"It's nothing she just seems really attached to you, I find it displeasing. We don't even know anything about her." She signals with her hand motions really flustered.
"That's true but then again I know nothing about you and you know nothing about me, You could have been a serial killer before coming to this world." I say laughing
"Same goes for you how do I not know I have been travelling with a psychopath?" She said with a wry smile
"If I had to guess which one of us was a psychopath it would be Paul. My mom used to tell me you can't trust someone who never shows you their real smile and I have a feeling Paul is hiding something." I motioned to her with a serious face
"So you feel that way as well, ever since we got here he has acted like this situation has nothing to do with him at all." She motioned with a suspicious tone on her face
As we were going to go on Luceille walks toward us holding a really skinny woman in his hands and its almost as if shes been bled dry.
"Lucielle was she drained from the vampires? any way we can save her." I asked urgently
"We need detoxification magic, Gaelic(Garlic), or holy water." Lucielle said with a dejected tone
"Can we get her back to the village and save her there?" I asked losing my cool
"No, it's too far she would die before we got halfway there." Luceille said with a sad expression
"Shit!!! is there any church or any places to harvest gaelic around here?" I said again as my voice was escalating
"There might be Gaelic somewhere around here but I have no idea where to look as I never studied botany or agriculture." Luceille said panicking
"Look for a green plant with frosted tips and uproot them they will be in the shape of a dumpling or almost completely tear shaped." I said in a hurry.
After searching for 10 minutes we had found nothing and returned to the camp, Paul had returned with 2 women and 1 child and were sitting around the campfire and he had already disposed of the woman who was bit by a zombie.
"Where's the girl who was bit, we couldn't find any Gaelic but we can probably do something." I said in a depressed but hopeful tone
"She didn't make it, I buried her already." Paul said with a straight face.
"Damnit if only we had gotten here sooner! There were supposed to be 5 I only counted 4, was there anyone who didn't make it in the cave Paul?" I asked curious and still really upset
"you don't want to know, just know that I gave her a burial." Paul says firmly
The kids had a look on their faces as if their souls had been eaten and when someone was talking to them they gave answers as if they were robots.
I felt as if we needed to move on and quickly find the rest of the villagers before they turned out like this.
so we rested for the night and sent Paul with the wagon filled with 2 teenage girls coming into adulthood and a young boy to Qi Village and had him pick up 9 more pairs of shoes and 20 pieces of Gaelic.
When Paul dropped the villagers off and picked up the supplies and headed back to Goburi Forest, once we met up we all moved north towards the Bathalli Hills, I checked my status window to see my improvement and to distract myself from this sense of loss in my chest.
