Jack followed the lights with the rest of Class 2 and Class 3 students. Most of Class 2 students had a variety of makeshift weapons from bent pipes to sharpened broomsticks. A few of them even had knives on long poles.

The remainder of Class 3 was a bunch of ragtag students with stained clothes. A few of them nervously looked around as if the idea of wandering through the darkness terrified them, which probably did.

Jack was unsettled with what Luke had said. Why must Mariah be warned especially? Jack kept thinking about what Luke was saying before he realized, "What did Luke want me to warn the rest of the team about?"

Thinking back upon their conversation Luke never did specify what they needed to look out for, he just kept rambling about nonsense.

If Luke was sure the team needed to know something then by all means the team should know what Luke was talking about.

Following the lights, Jack and the rest of the people kept walking till a huge set of doors that were wide open. Inside were many tables lined with presents and foods. Music drifted from the stage where instruments were being played by people.

Jack walked in and saw his team on the other side of the banquet hall and Jack ran over to them.

Jack saw Jonah, Emily, Danny, Spencer, and Correy.

Emily was elated that Jack made it back safe and sound and ran forward for a hug. Jonah then walked forward. "Luke? Smitt?"

"Luke is recuperating, Smitt sacrificed himself to allow us to live" Jack explained with a downcast tone. Jonah just looked down and clench his fist. Emily was also saddened by this news.

Joshua came forth when he saw Jack conversing with people and spoke "Class 7?"

Jonah turns to Joshua and started to speak. "That is us, do you need something?"

Joshua waves his hand and replied "No, its just that Jack here wanted to get back to Class 7 as soon as possible or from what hes told me.

"Probably missed home" Jonah laughs and started hitting it off with Joshua and while they bantered Jack remembered his promise to Luke and spoke up. "I needed to let you guys know that Luke wanted to warn you guys about something. "

This speech got Emily's attention and she started asking "What was it that needed to be said?"

"To that I have no clue, Luke kept saying we needed to warn people but he never actually specified what needed to be warned against, All I know is that Mariah needs to hear this information, as specified by Luke"

When hearing Mariah's name Emily started to sweat.

"What is it?" Jack asked

"Mariah..... she went awol, trying to take on one of the trials by herself"

Jack was taken back by the words that Emily had spurted from her mouth. "Awol? Why and When?" Jack cried out aspirated.

"We found her gone one night and then the notification of one of the trial starting was on the watches. " Danny explained.

Amiss this discussion the room started to shake. The normal yellow lights of the hall became a dark red color, grievously illuminating the hall.

A notification on the watches started to flash

Suddenly the ceiling started to spin and objects started falling from the ceiling. One of these objects crashed into the table next to a few of the students and one of them looked over shocked before gasping "Jackson?" The figure on the table stirred and lunged forward, tearing into the neck of the girl.

The girl screamed before drowning in her own blood. The rest of the students panicked and started to scatter.

Those from Class 2 all readied their weapons and charged forward. "Who activated the trial?" Correy asked in terror as he cowered under the table. Jonah injected his medicine into his bloodstream and his features grew, his hand expanded and two stalks emerged from his head. Jonah charged forward and started to pulverize the objects that fell.

Emily and Danny were shooting non-stop as the zombies got up from the floor and surged forward.

Jack used her vector ability to send the zombies back with their own momentum but more and more bodies kept on dropping.

One of the bodies moved forward attempting to bite Jack and looking at the face sent a shock through his system.

"Otis?" Jack cried out and the due to his surprise was unable to release his ability in time and was knocked to the floor.

Jack struggled before releasing his ability and sending Otis flying away. "Guys this way" a student called out and went through a pried open door, some of the students not taken by the initial battle ran toward the door as it was their only escape. "Jack, get everyone out of here, I'll stop their advance" Jonah ordered and Jack raised his voice to protest but Jonah grabbed Jack and threw him. "Get out of here now, clear the trials" Jonah bellowed and rushed forward alongside the Class 2 Students

Jack wanted to cry out but he was swept away but the onslaught of fleeing students.
