《Terror Infinity- Absolute》Chapter 9- Intermission 3

Danny loaded his gun with another round of ammunition and aimed the sights at Jack.
"You ready?" Danny asked and Jack just nodded his head. With a loud bang the rifle went off and the bullet burst out of the gun and flew toward Jack
Jack quickly threw out a hand and concentrated, at 10 meters the bullet was deflected and Jack slumped down. "You did it" Danny whoops and he bull rushed over and gave Jack a hug. Jack only endured the hug trying best not to suffocate as Danny crushed his body.
"So it was successful then" Jonah smiled, he got up from the pillar he was leaning on and swaggered over, Danny released Jack and straightened up.
"These nine days of training weren't a waste despite how some would like to spend it on relaxing, but tomorrows the day we get thrown back into a movie to live or to die so get some rest, prepare your gear and move out, if you know what I mean" Jonah ended his pep talk and he starts to walk away, before briefly calling out "Oh yeah, tonight come to my place for dinner, we can talk about our progress and have a team discussion nothing like having a last meal before death".
Jack and Danny looked at each other before they started to clean up the rubber bullets and model guns left from their training. Stray bullets rolling around, guns left here and there, Jack and Danny got halfway through cleaning up when a small cough got their attention.
"Hey Jack..... Do you got a minute" Abigail asked and Jack looked at Danny "It's alright, I got the rest of this, go and talk to her" Danny gave him a thumbs-up and turned his back to the duo. Jack sighed and moved toward Abigail and asked her what she needed.
Abigail was fidgeting, badly at that. She looked around a few times before leaning in close to Jack's ear and whispered "Not here, come to my room and we can talk safely"
Jack just nodded his head in understanding and followed after Abigail, as he traverse the hall to go to Abigail's room he could feel a chilling gaze, as if someone was shooting daggers out of their eyes at him. Jack turned to look around but he could see no one in the vicinity of his area.

"That was weird" Jack mumbled to himself and he entered Abigail's room. The room was decked out in pink, from pink carpet to the sunset pink ceiling, the cushions, shelves and even the light was pink.
"If this place hurts your eyes to much then I can change the configuration of it" Abigail said and Jack replied "No, it's fine, so what did you want to talk about?"
"You see....." Abigail started "I feel like someone is watching me, as if I am being targeted"
"We're in god's dimension, unless someone on our team wants you dead why would there be something targeting you" Jack asked.
"I don't know, that is why I wanted to talk to someone about it, this unsettling feeling is driving my nerves crazy" Abigail whimpered and Jack went to soothe her.
"Hey hey, don't worry, we will find a way out of here in no time, we can go back to the outside world and live our lives again" Jack whispered to her and Abigail cried out in panic "Then how do we get out of here, I almost died in the last mission what do we need to do, why are we doing this?" Abigail wailed.
Jack was dumbfounded. What DID they have to do to get out? Thinking back Jack never heard the veterans say anything about going back to the original world, did they not know how to get out? Or were they holding the information back on purpose? Emily did mention that the purpose of God's Dimension was to evolve, but how far did one have to evolve to escape from this accursed place?
"We got a meeting tonight, we can ask them there" Jack said and feeling that he was unneeded he left.
The table was alive, Meagan had prepared a feast and everyone was lounging in the jovial atmosphere.
Jonah kissed Meagan and told her "You did great sweetheart, wait for me when the mission is over, we can do something more fun if the world we go to next is a good spot."
Meagan just blushed and went back to get more food.
Danny was pigging himself out, scattered bits and pieces of food and spilled drinks littered the area around him, making all the girls throw looks of disgust at him, the only one willing to be by his side was his human creation, who goes by the name of Ingred.

Emily and Abigail were lightly chatting and eating small pieces at a time, Jonah was engulfing everything like Danny but in a much more clean manner, as for Jack and Smitt they barely touch their food despite the festivities going around them.
"Is it like this everytime?" Jack asked Smitt and Smitt just gave him a nod. "Every Mission beginning starts with feast, boost morale" Smitt said simply.
Jack looked down at his turkey leg and started to think of home "What is Aris doing? Is she missing me? How about my family what would they do if I had disappeared, Mom would probably cry and stay silent at the dinner table, Dad would probably grow cold again, rarely conversing if at all. Jack knew the hardships they went through, one was a common office worker who was practically given all the tough jobs and go to blames man*. The other was a waitress at a restraunt, worked late shift ,and harassed by drunken customers. The thought of losing another child would have shocked them, 3 children and now all of them were gone. 1 died at birth, another in a car accident and now the last is missing." Jack contemplated thinking of all the hardships his parents must be going through right now, but is time even still going on the other side?" Jack kept thinking and a loud bang brought him back to reality.
"Alright, everyone has their fill so let us get to the meeting. Any ideas what type of movie will be next, scientific or supernatural?
According to Jonah the movies he survived were no 5.
1st: MuvLuv Alternative
2nd: Overlord
3rd: Knights of Sidonia
4th: Another
5th: Shingeki no Kyojin
Based on the scientific/supernatural settings it goes science, supernatural, science, supernatural, supernatural.
"If we think about it, our next movie should be a scientific one, though God loves to throw a curveball as he broke this chain with Shingeki no Kyojin so its a good chance for either or" Jonah reasoned.
"I wonder how many newbies we would get, our team is now 6 people, there is a guarentee that a newbie will join us, and the base minimum for missions is 7, so we can either see 1 to 14 newbies" Emily laid this information on the table.
"No matter what show, I will protect" Smitt said simply. "I always wanted to ask but why did you enhance a human creation? isn't it better to save points for yourself" Danny asked and Jonah replied, "I had a tactical newbie once, instead of using his human creation on pleasure he created a body guard, as he couldn't do well in a fight. Sadly a hull breach in Sidonia sucked him and a few other newbies into space. "
"Now onto progress, what did we accomplish in the last few days, I know that Jack got his vector ability to basic level knowledge and Danny has his aim slightly better. Girls?" Jonah asked
"Shenfield control is still wonky but workable, When using teleportation it won't tire my out as much but I can use it about 2-3 times a day, that is my limit." Emily said. "Water control is okay, you won't see flashy moves but I can conjure a small shield capable of three melee hits or one bullet. My contracted beast grew, they are semi-cooridinated" Abigail replies.
"Alright, and Smitt here who was training with me has found out he has a regeneration rate that allows him to regain his body in as little as a couple of hours. Wrapping this up lets get to bed" Jonah ordered and everyone cleaned up their plates and headed to sleep.
On the morning of the 10th day Emily points out "See those beams of light, they will take us to the next movie, as long as a thing is fitted inside of it then it is transported, anything outside of it is deleted may it be full body or body parts.
Everyone nodded their head and got inside a beam of light, Akatsuki huddled into a light alongside Jonah and a countdown time began.
As it reached 0 God's voice spoke.
"Enter the Beam within thirty seconds. Target Locked: *Original Content* School that is an Eternal Labyrinth. Beginning Transportation
