Sky and his friends ventured forth to the new questing area with Bram leading them the way.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Those chasing you, are they still here? Do they have some sort of outpost?”
“I never saw any outposts, I don’t know if they have left yet, but I had to get out of hiding,I was freezing and I couldn’t even cook myself food, I had a little rain water when I was hiding inside some smushed rocks, it was dripping over me..”
“Sounds awful….”
“it was”
Odin interrupted our little chat.
“Can you tell us anything about the city up ahead?”
“I did manage to scout out a little bit, on top of these mountains there is a passage that leads to some sort of big land, I never got to check it out though.”
The ground was muddy and slippery from the rain.
We walked up for a bit on the steep road, it was very exhausting.
“Get down!” Bram signaled with his arms for us to get down as he was carefully looking forward.
“What is it?” I whispered.
“You were right, they have made an outpost here”
“Sure it’s the same guys?”
“Yes, I remember their outfits all black and red, they must be robbing people passing through, this base is has to be recently build.”
“How many of them are there?”
“There seem to be at least….10 or more people.”
“Well geared?”
“Their gear has changed appearance to follow a certain dress code, it costs a lot, so I can’t really see their gear stats or class”
“Are they from the Darkblood Brotherhood?”
“Not really sure, but most likely………Someone is coming out, they are assembling”
“Why?”
“Looks like the leader is having a speech, how do you want to proceed?”

“If they are up to no good we should take them out, but first we should see if they are darkbloods, me and Celia will be in stealth mode while you guys approach them, if their name tag states darkblood brotherhood, have no mercy”
“Got it! Let’s get to it, follow me”
Celia and I snuck in front of our friends, but still held us close.
Bram and the rest headed towards them, in a passive manner.
We could hear the crowd had noticed us as the chatter got louder.
“Who are you guys and what brings you here?” The person we figured was the leader asked.
“We are here to keep on questing, can we pass?”
The name tag was darkblood brotherhood, but Bram didn’t show any hostile intent.
“Hmmm, we have a mission here that has nothing to do with you, consider yourself lucky”
“Thank you”
“Captain, there are two assassins lurking around here!” one of the hunter trackers shouted!
“You damn brat, trying to make a fool out of me!” The captain drew his shield and sword from his back and holster.
“Shit, guess we have no choice!”
Bram managed to dodge a shield slam.
“Nether Blade!”
Brams short sword started to glow as he struck the captain in his chest dealing a lot of damage but not enough, Bram got caught by a head butt and knocked backwards, dazed.
“Celia, let’s go!”
A battle had begun, Celia and I reappeared behind the tracker hunters and ended them quickly, Odin was holding the captain off as Bram got his bearings back.
“Cortez drink this” Elisa gave Cortez the ultimate flask to slow down time around him.
His attack speed and aim increased, but some of the enemies also wore huge shields, that blocked most of the damage from Cortez. Their frontline was pushing forward.

Bram helped Odin bring down the captain by dismembering his right arm and slashing his throat. The captain was to busy fighting Odin to notice Bram`s speed.
“There she is, capture her and the king will reward us!” Most of the enemies started to storm Celia.
So that’s who they were after…
I made Midas really sharp as I pierced two enemies in one strike from the side, but the others kept rushing her down, she fended of as many as she could, but she needed more help!
“Celia!” Odin had made his way around the big shielded guys as he noticed Celia was in trouble, I was to busy finishing of the two people I stabbed to help her more, but luckily Odin came behind them and got some to fight him, to even the odds.
“Cortez! Aim for their legs, I deal with the rest!” Bram was trying to take down the shield guys, but he needed an opening, once Cortez hit one of the men’s foot, the shield dropped for a brief moment as the pain sunk into the victims mind, Bram took advantage of this and used that brief window to get up close and finish him off.
“Again!”
The other enemy did his best to hide his feet, but that only made it worse, since Bram had a way in if he wasn’t too focused on the melee part.
The enemies was falling like flies, but I managed to take one down without killing him.
His body was on the ground with his face turned towards me, I held his arms and yelled.
“Who is the King?” He was trying his best to get away, but then I stabbed both my daggers into his palms planting his hands to the ground as well as I shoved the pointy edge of Midas right by his eye, half my face was also disfigured, but for once that actually helps.
“You are….one of them!”
“Who are them?”
“The king will not let her walk free!”
“Answer my question!”
“And you? Once they get the sniff of what you have become, they will be all over you, on every step you take, wish I could be there to see your suffering haha!”
“no wait!” I started to shake his collar.
He killed himself by chewing a poisonous pill.
I took my daggers back.
“A bit brutal don’t you think?” Elisa asked me.
“Perhaps…..”
“The will pay for their sins” Celia said.
“becoming as brutal as them makes us no different” Elisa was a bit shaken up.
“But he--!” Celia was interrupted by me.
“Shes right….i don’t know what came over me…”
When I saw them all focusing Celia the thought of losing her made me snap.
“We should keep moving incase reinforcements come, there may be more on the other side of the passage..”
“You are right, let’s go!”
We run up the steep road and once we got up the view was marvelous!
There was a city built on top of a huge tree that had been cut, the weather was shiny and warm, just like summer!
“Whow, that is HUGE!” Cortez`s jaw dropped.
There was a spiral way around the tree to get into the city, but it was a long walk from here to down there.
