”This dungeon look like crap, smells to….” Cortez held his nose.

“Kind of glad we are just here to finish of the last boss, look, the ceiling is dripping cold water, brrrr” Elisa was freezing.

“This boss, do you know his attacks?” I had to ask Emily.

The boss was in front of us, but from afar, it was like a big black wraith from earlier but just huge and with a scythe. His name was “The Grim reaper”

“This is the longest we have gotten; we haven’t dared to confront him. We usually wait to next week for the dungeon reset, and then we clear all the trash mobs to get good loot although the boss drops the best.”

“That’s why you want us huh? We are brave enough is that it?” Odin replied.

“Exactly” Emily just smiled, not trying to hide the fact or anything.

“Since we don’t have any clue what its abilities are we just have to fight and see for ourselves” She continued..

It feels as if we are taking this too lightly or have we simply become used to fighting with our lives on the line?

“Well we have come this far so let’s get to it!” Cortez was fired up.

Celia walked up to me.

“You sure you are up for this? What about your ar---“

“It`s not hurting anymore, I’m fine, I promise”

I could feel and see the spreading on my left arm, it was almost covered in black veins, weirdly enough it does not hurt though, only when it spreads”

“Attack!”

Bruce charged onwards, this time he was using some kind of brass knuckle weapon.

Grim reaper noticed us and he started swinging his scythe at Bruce only to be blocked by his guard!

“Good one Bruce! Now it’s my turn! Emily proceeded with shooting a bunch of purple shaped balls of magic from her hands at the boss.

Odin went on a rampage with his ability, Cortez spammed his fire arrows as Celia and I reappeared back on his neck and pierced him dealing a lot of damage.

All these spells at the same time really did a lot of damage to the boss, we were almost down to half his health, that was when he used one of his abilities, it was like a spin!

“Everyone get back!” I made sure to call it out early

The grim reaper was spinning around the place even ranged attacks were deflected, if hit it would be the end!

“All we can do now is dodge! Wait it out!”

Some of the rock pillars around the battle field got chopped of and thrown all over the place, we all dodging them as well as we could. Bruce was just standing still with his guard up, all the rock blocks just turned to dust when it hit him.

“it is slowing down, go at him again!” Bruce was the first one to run towards him, taunting him and getting all the aggro towards him.

“Take this” Cortez kept on spamming arrows, but his flaming arrows was on cooldown.

Celia and I kept attacking it from behind.

“Cortez take this!” Emily used some kind of channeling magic spell on Cortez which increased his attackspeed by at least 50%!

“Ohh yeah! Take this! Hahah, feels like my fingers are burning!” Cortez was all fired up.

The boss suddenly stopped attacking and became immune to damage as he summoned several small wraiths across the battlefield.

“Everyone watch out!”

“I got u Emily!” Cortez was also moving faster while the spell was channeled on him, he was shooting arrows left and right killing all the wraiths approaching them.

“Celia stay close!”

“That one!” I pointed at one wraith as we both reappeared behind it and hit it simultaneously killing it in one sweep.

“Nice, now on to the next one!” Just as we were running towards our next target we saw Bruce coming from the wraiths side, body slamming it to the ground and then striking it with several vicious punches until it vanished to dust!”

Bruce looked at us and just grunted.

“I Really need to change my spec, I don’t got any real support abilities in fights yet!” Elisa was throwing gooey flask all over the field.

A wraith flew after her

“Ahhh! Get away from me!”

Odin lunged at the wraith killing it.

“Thanks Odin!”

“Stay close, the wraiths have to stop soon”

“Take this, this just might work!”

Elisa handed over a flask.

“Everyone is flashing with their new abilities, this is mine”

Odin drank the potion.

“Wow is everyone slowing down? Elisa?”

Everything was going to slow for Odin, the buff lasts for 20 seconds for his time, so for everyone else those 20 seconds seem like 5.

“Ohh this is going to be cool!”

Odin shoved both his blades into the ground activating his cooldown ability, Endless Rage!

Odins powers was too overwhelming, he was moving around in light speed for the normal eye, killing all the remaining wraiths in a flash!

The boss was no longer immune to damage, Odin did immense damage to the boss before his powers vanished.

“I am so tired” Odin did so much damage that Bruce couldn’t hold aggro.

“Watch out!” The scythe was targeting Odin, but just as it was supposed to hit, a purple barrier blocked the damage and then it shattered. It was Emily’s Shield!

“I’ll take it from here!” Bruce got the aggro back on him.

After a few seconds of damage dealing, the boss was about to swing around once again.

“Back up, Everyone back up!”

“Disappear!” The grim reapers screeched out as he spun around, this time dark matter was emitting from the boss coming right for us.

“Cortez, back me up on this” Emily began using spells at the dark matter.

“Gotcha!” Cortez followed up with flurry of arrows.

As we were running from the scythe I could feel another pulse in my left hand, the dark veins was spreading, soon my whole left hand was covered, weirdly enough it doesn’t hurt as much anymore and I feel fine.

“Sky..”

I could hear a voice in my head, was it Zane again?

“Sky! Watch out!” I was too distracted to notice a falling pointy edged rock right above my head.

Celia reappeared behind me and kicked me away as she used that momentum to jump away from the rock.

I had my arm sleeve a bit up from checking the veins, I forgot to cover it, Celia noticed before I got to cover it again.

The Grim Reaper was slowing down.

“ Clearly u are not ok, why did u lie to me? To us?”

“It’s not hurting, it’s just …I will tell you later ok? Lets finish this up”

“Hmm, fine!”

The boss stopped spinning and Bruce got the aggro back.

“Time to finish this!” Emily charged up a spell.

“Cover me everyone, this will finish him off, but I need some time!””

The boss was attacking Bruce with increased attack speed as well as wraiths was spawning again!

This is the last stage! Stage 3!

Bruce was holding the boss, Odin was to tired to fight, Elisa made a huge gooey field around Emily to slow the wraiths down.

“Cortez, keep ur damage on the boss, we will defend Emily!”

“Alright, chief!”

As we were killing of wraiths, the room became brighter and brighter from Emilyes spell. Emily herself was turned into an entity of light.

I was almost blinded even though my back was turned, I could feel the warmth behind me.

“Bruce!”

“Hmm!!” Bruce jumped away from the boss.

“Spear of Odysseus!!” The whole room was lit up and a really loud noise was heard, then everything was silent for a split second as huge beam of light was shot forward towards the boss, illumination everything in its way, piercing the boss, leaving a huge hole in his body as he disappeared.

The remaining wraiths disappeared.

The boss dropped a staff that only Emily could use.

“Yay, just what I wanted!”

We were all really exhausted from the fight, but Emily was really excited.

After we were finished in the dungeon we headed back to the city, relaxing at a restaurant, eating food.

“I want to thank you guys for everything, The Darkblood Brotherhood, the dungeon, its more peaceful now. Now that we got our guard up on all the check point in the Thunder plains we are sure nothing like that will ever happen again!”

“Your welcome little girl!” Cortez was eating like a wild animal as always.

“Little—gi—girl?!” Emily got mad.

Bruce held Cortez in a chokehold, he was trying to tap out. Emily was pleased.

“I am afraid The Darkblood Brotherhood is lurking in every region forwards, at least that’s what I expect. The killings have stopped here, but they will not stop until they are completely shut down.”

“Shutting down The Darkblood Brotherhood? That`s insane, they are one of the biggest guilds! It would take a lot of people and time to make something like that happen.”

“How about the 5 of us?” Elisa dropped her jaw, but the others were smiling.

“Are you insane? You guys might be skilled, but you are just 5 people against who knows how many!”

“We will figure something out, I will not stay idle while this Felia is crumbling, this world is our second chance, we can’t let people make the same mistake as in the first world.”

“I like you dedication, but that is one way of getting yourself killed quickly, I will give you a tip, stay alive and think reasonably, you will need all the help you can get, with your charms I bet that won’t be a problem”

Elisa got a bit mad.

I blushed a little.

“We will be heading out, from what I can see there still a long way to go if we want to get out of here”

“I wish I could give u a zeppelin ride, but that’s just too expensive right now, sorry!” Emily lowered her head.

“Its fine its fine, don’t think about it”

“Really?”

“We are adventurous people after all!” We were all smiling.
