“Finally, I am so tired” Cortez almost dived in under the roof of the first checkpoint”
“Phew, finally..”
“Feels like we have been walking for hours just to get here.”
“I am so wet and dirty, damn this mud!” Everyone was really muddy, mostly Odin since he fell earlier, but Elisa cared the most.
“Say that again”
“What?”
“The first sentence”
Cortez was trying to trick Elisa.
“ehmm, I said I was wet and dir---Jerk!”
Elisa was just about to hit Cortez.
“Please don’t hit me, please”
“urgh, I am to tired for this anyway, I will beat you up twice next time!”
Cortez exhaled relieved.
We took out something to drink and eat from our inventory and relaxed on the bench.
The checkpoint almost look like its mushroom shaped, with the celling and the pillar in the middle to hold it all up.
I suddenly felt really vozy and my back started to hurt, I got up quick,, but I fell on the ground paralyzed. As I was laying on the ground I could only see that Elisa, Cortez and Odin also fell to the ground.
Someone walked up to me and crouched down.
“You know what you get when you have a high speced poison assassin, with a poison alchemist and a mage? No? You get this.”
He was waving a flask back and forth.
“It is a strong paralytic poison, took us a long time of experimentation to make, but it sure does the trick, and you should be going to sleep……..about…now….”
Everything went dark.
I came around from time to time, feeling my body being transported, I didn’t know what it was, but it was moving fast. I could not open my eyes, I could just barley feel the motion.

Then I went back to sleep.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I awakened strapped to a cross like object, I was hanging in the air in only my trousers, on some kind of machine.
I looked over to my left and right, I could see others also being strapped, but they were still unconscious.
The machine started moving, transporting us more and more to the left, I just nudged a bit left over and over with a 15 seconds interval, I don’t know the hell is going on or where I was.
I began to look around, it was some kind of facility, I could barely see through the windows across the room, all I saw was some other machines and players experimenting on a dead body.
The machine was still pulling us more and more to the left, on my far left I could see the beginning of a room, whatever was going on I knew it was my turn soon. I tried my best to get lose from the straps, but it was no use, there have got to be a way.
They are all sleeping and I am not, I searched the room for clues or something I could use to get me out of these straps, my torso was free, only my arms and legs were strapped.
I got moved more to the left, I could see a big machine with a long pointy end covered in dripping blood.
There was no way out of the straps ,at least not by trying to force my way out of them, there was nothing in the room that would help me escape either.
I got moved even more to the left!
The guy next to me got stabbed by the machine and it left a big hole in his stomach and the blood was just pouring out down in a big pool of some mixture of blood and chemicals.

There was guards and players everywhere, it was like they were experimenting. I had no choice but to dislocate my thumb so I could slide my hand easier under the strap on my right side, it hurt like hell and I just barely got my hand free, I quickly tried to free my other hand, but all the straps got loosened because of some kind of error, the machine probably thought there was something wrong and therefor it had to dispose of the body.
Right under me was the pool of experimentation, just as I fell into it I woke up in a prison cell and Odin was there sleeping.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My thumb was fine and I had all my gear on me.
Was it all just a dream or hallucinations from the drug? I woke Odin up.
“Odin, get up”
“What, Sky?” Odin got a look around as he was half asleep.
“Where are we?”
“I don’t know”
I went up towards the window and saw other prisoners trapped like us.
“Where is Elisa and Cortez?”
“I was wondering the same thing, but to find that out we need to know where we are, I figure this is some kind of prison, but where this is and how to get out of here is a mystery.”
“So what are we going to do?”
“Only thing we can do, wait and see what this is all about, but when someone opens that door we smash his head in steals his keys and try to make a run for it.”
“Gottcha!”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“That’s where they are being kept huh?” The big guy in the clock was using a binocular as he was look at an old saw mill.
“The saw mill is only cover, they are working underground… Look over there”
The girl was pointing at a red light on top of the saw mill.
“If this place truly was abandoned there would not have been any power, let’s get up there”
They went towards the mill and the big guy jumped up on the roof with the girl on his shoulders.
The girl used a spell that made them pass through the ceiling and they got inside and saw a door with a code.
“Can’t you just use the same spell to get through?”
“No, this one is spell protected, we have to kill the generators to unlock the door as well as the cell blocks.”
“Where can the generators be?”
“Ohh, that is not hard, I can sense the energy flow through the air, follow me”
They got back outside and headed away from the saw mill to a place of nothingness.
“What are we doing here? There is just mud here, no generators.”
The girl bend over and started feeling the ground.
“It’s here, below us…I will just use my spell and we will be through in no tim---?!”
The big guy just slammed the ground as hard as he could and busted through to the power room.
“Well, that works too”
The room was squared, with only 1 door and no windows nor guards.
“Well, go on, SMASH!”
The big guy just grinned and started smashing all the generators.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The alarm started going off!
“What is happening?”
We could hear and feel something hammering.
“Get up! Be prepared for everything!”
Everything went dark and every cell block cell opened up.

Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

A Savage's Journey
Jason Walker, a psych major, has been transported to another world. Quite frankly he isn't prepared. No experience in fighting, no idea how to control mana, and no proper clothes. Only his wits, which are in short supply, and his luck may see him through the day. This is my first novel ever. First ever time writing so I'll definitely be listening to any constructive criticism you guys have to offer. I'll even pay attention to straight up criticism if I can see some merit in it. I hope you all enjoy.

Dragons of Dark Rebellion in A World of Essence
In a world where cultivation is the highest form of virtue, the purity of one’s blood is of absolute value. Saul is neither Arloni, nor Delcairan. He’s both. But when a strange ring suddenly falls into his hands, nineteen year old Saul is more than willing to push the boundary between fantasy and reality. However, things are not as they once were in Falden. At a time where Saul finally confronts lord Albryte’s sons after years of torment and abuse, his father’s health is fading fast. Suddenly faced with the consequences of his actions, Saul is forced to make a difficult decision. And as he fights his own battle, dark forces descend upon Lucidia. Followed by a pair of glowing red eyes, a stranger appears in the night, visiting Falden with unfavorable intentions. Even worse, nameless assassins strike at the heart of the capital, leaving Eliza Zaryph, the black sheep of the ruling house of Lucidia, shouldering the burden of governing a kingdom that once turned its back on her. As the world marches toward chaos, their lives take a drastic turn. Will Saul abandon those he holds most dear? Will Eliza drown herself in the past? Or will they struggle against fate and seize the future with their own hands? Tomorrow remains uncertain. But the Sun will show them the way. Author's Note: Inspired by the Wuxia/Xianxia genre the magic system is comprised of cultivating through different Worlds of power, where each World offers more strength and abilities. Currently there are five Worlds known: Essence Practitioner, Essence Channeler, Essence Warrior, Essence Conquerer, and finally Essence Ruler. (And for the best reading experience I recomend altering your width setting to about 70 or 80 percent on desktop.) Table of Contents: Prologue Part 1: Homecoming (chapters 1-12) Part 2: Journey (chapters 13-25) About 70 percent complete. I'll update this figure over time and begin posting again after I finish it and go through several rounds of editing.
