me, sui, and rai are sitting alone in a corner of the tavern. sui has her mask on and ran is shifted. I, of course, had to pay for everything we ate and drank. an adventurer party is celebrating their newest dungeon raid.
"dungeons?"
rai was the first to speak in the few minutes we were in here.
"oi! you don't know what a dungeon is? you have to be the kingdom's biggest idiot to not know!"
rai looked at the drunk with an indifferent expression. it doesn't sound scary, than you realize who it belongs to.

I am tempted to just appear behind the drunkard and punch him or something. but, doing that will destroy half the tavern so that's a no go.
"I dont know what a dungeon is, so what?"
"if you need a dungeon mate, than I'm your man! I know all the dungeons 'round here!"
if anything we can go to the adventurers guild and ask for a map of all the dungeons.
"no need, we can just go to the guild."
with that we left the tavern with a rather bad taste in my mouth.
soon after, we went to this towns branch if the adventurers guild.

"hi, can yoh give us a map to the dungeon please?"
"oh, I'm afraid that I can't. you see, this dungeon is a new dungeon around here, we have already set up the request do a subjugation team. sorry."
well that blows. we can still go, we just can't be efficient at it.
rai pov:
"at least we can get extra money out of it right?"

Still, you need to be pretty mature to properly take care of a pet. Notes2: This story is my answer to stories such as Gantz, Terror Infinity, Battle Royale, Btoom!, and strangely enough... Captain N: The Video Game Master. It is an original story, but it does seek to give a similar vibe to some of those tales of legend. However, it is not meant to be an overly serious tale as I have decided that the new stories that I release in the coming year will be mostly comedies.
