《New to Magic》Chapter Twenty-Two The Tranis Part One

The Tranis
Sky was lying in the sleeping hammock mentally reaching out to the strange aliens. She was feeding them with a trickle of the spent magic; they seemed to like the most. It wasn’t hard to find them with the magic flowing through the type of wormhole she created. They seemed in better shape and condition. The first thing she did was free, the ones she thought were pregnant mothers and fed them more. She felt no other lifeforms in their big bellies. They all had lost their children from insufficient food. Sky was not pleased with herself and tried to make amends to the tiny aliens. She paused as she sensed the extra appendage on most of the fat ones. With her brief connection with the men on Little Tooth, she knew the difference as knowledge and now experience. The feeling of guilt lessened as she realized her first assumption was correct. Now she had the find out how to help these tiny people. She then went about trying to learn their language. Most of the aliens didn’t trust the magic that was feeding them and used it sparingly. The fat ones didn’t seem to mind and took the spent magic until bursting point. Some just bowed down to the presence that was saving them from starvation. It wasn’t until she managed to make a tiny little clone of herself that they knew that it was a being saved them. Then they seemed to cower from her in fear. It wasn’t until a fearless child now able to walk with renewing strength offered her food. It was a few drops of blue magic cupped in her hand. Sky smiled and reached out slowly as a mother went to snatch her child back. Before she could reach her child, Sky put her finger in the magic. It was a mixture of water and air magic diluted with spent magic. After she found out what it was, she added more and filling the girl’s hand. The mother stopped from snatching back her daughter and proceeded to speak to Sky.
Sky had no idea what she was saying and motioned her to stop; it was fruitless to hear what she could not understand. With a thought of inspiration motioned to the child and mimicking opening a book. The child’s and mother’s faces lit up in recognition, and before the two ran off, they stored the blue magic from her hand into a small bottle attached to a cord slung around the neck and shoulder like a purse or bag. They could drink from the containers with a strange tube at the bottom of their tongues. More children came forward offering drops of magic in their hands, and she filled them just like she had the little girl before. Soon some of the adults were holding out their empty hands. She didn’t think it was very polite of them not to specify what they wanted and gave them drops of fire or earth and lightning. The fire and lightning they drop immediately, and the earth after sampling it made discussed faces.
When the mother and child returned, it took a while to push their way back to Sky. She was busy giving out magic to everyone asking for the two to reach her side easily. When Sky noticed them, she beckoned the pair to her, some of the crowd respected fully parted. The tiny girl held up her book with pride; she called out the first offering to their saviour. Sky still had used some of her magic to part the rest of the tiny people gently. Not having to hide she used a non-inverted spell and let the spent magic wash over then. The people’s skin closest to her grew more vibrant and lost some of the gaunt looks to their faces. Even bigger smiles appeared on most of their faces, yet some looked shocked. The child held out the book to Sky, and she opened it to the first page. There was a holographic picture of what she took to be the author.

There was a big difference in appearance to him and the people before her. His features were the same, small pointed ears, rounded face, a blunt nose like most humans, thin upper lip and thicker bottom lips. The biggest difference to humans was the vibrant skin colours. Yet the author of the book was even more vibrant in colour than these people. With little hesitation, she cast the most powerful healing spell she could cast letting the spent magic wash over the entire ship. The effects were immediate, and a collected gasp went through the crowd. Their skin looked healthier and as vibrant colour as the man in to picture. The mother took Sky’s left hand and brought it up to her forehead. It touched briefly, and she whispered in her strange sounding language. Not knowing what to do, she nodded in appreciation. Sky turned to the next page, and the small child took the book and turned it over and was guided to the top center of the book. The book had large symbols and pictures of body parts along with what seemed to be simplified language. She took the child’s hand gently and brought it to her forehead and touched briefly just as her mother did. The crowd around them started to whisper amongst themselves at her actions. The child was smiling up at her and started to talk in the alien language. Sky just smiled and flipped through the book quickly and then went back to the first page. She had a good idea of the simple written language the children were taught. Now she just had to work on the verbal part. She gestured to the child again and pointed out the first word.
Before she could speak, a large group of what seemed to be armed men dressed in grey and green uniforms. Their skin colour was a slightly different tone, and they started to part the crowd. They didn’t seem to be very gentle about it. They were about to violently grab the mother and child to pull them out of their way. Sky held up her hand in a gesture she hoped meant the same thing everywhere, stop! The man just paused and was prodded into action by the men behind them. Sky didn’t want anyone hurt, so they could reach them; she put a protective bubble around the mother and child using an inverted spell. Two men portly pushed their way past the guards and went to grab the two with sneers across their faces violently. Sky smiled at the look of shock when they encountered the shield protecting the pair.
She was even more surprised when they brought up strange looking weapons and aimed them at her. She wasn’t sure if they knew her body was just spectral and wasn’t there. She didn’t want anything to happen to the people behind her so she put up a bubble that would allow something in but not out. Sky held up her hands as if to surrender, give no sign of defiance. One of the aliens kept trying to grab the mother and child. When they couldn’t grab them, he brought up his weapon and pointed it at the two shouting at them. The mother cradled her child protectively saying something back to the men. Whatever she said had no effect of placating their attempts or the attitude towards them.
Sky was appalled at the treatment of their own people. She didn’t know why they were being treated so horribly. She had to do something before things got even worse. “I don’t know if you speak my language and I’m trying to learn yours. But I won’t let you hurt people who are trying to help me help you.” She told the now silent men with now all the men pointing their weapons at her. She knew close to a hundred words in their written language. She knew nothing of sentence structure. She only knew the word and gesture for what she assumed was thank you. She didn’t know enough for diplomatic relations. She had to work with what she did know. In the air, before her, she wrote the words stop and please.

The men looked to each other and slowly lowered their weapons. The little girl reached through her shield with a trembling hand and said something to the man closest to her. He placed his hand in hers, with what looked like an eye dropper she put two drops of blue magic and smiled. She spoke a few more words with more confidence, and the man held his hand out to Sky. Sky knew what she was expected to do. By filling his hand might prove that she was no threat, and she was the one providing them food. The man hesitantly held out his hand and Sky filled it with the blue magic from her finger. He looked at what was in his hand and showed the others. Each man dipped a finger in and brought it up to their mouths. With smiles on their faces, they put away their weapon and held out their cupped empty hands. She smiled at their greed and filled each with the earth magic. The little girl laughed as they took a sip and spat it out. Once again, the girl held up her tiny bottle and placed two drops of her water magic in each man’s hand. They turned to her and held out the hand that had the magic in it.
The men greedily sucked up the magic from their hands and brought them back for more. One she noticed offered the girl some of what he had back to the girl. Sky smiled to the girl and touched the tiny bottle and with magic made it bigger then filled it with more of the blue magic. Everyone was shocked, and the girl's mother took the bottle and handed it back to Sky and said something in their strange sounding language. Sky seemed to understand and made the container smaller but secretly left the inside just as big. Soon after she handed it back, others held up their tiny bottles to be filled too. The men with the weapons held up larger containers. Some of them looked disgusted at the fact they received the same amount as the ones with the tiny bottles.
Soon more men showed up with weapons and pushed their way to Sky and her new friends, the little girl and her mother. The new men shouted in what could only be taken as anger and pointed their weapons at Sky. Sky held the book open to the little girl and started to point at some of the words. The little girls face lit up as she understood what she wanted. Only two of the first men didn’t start to point their weapon at her, the mother and daughter. Sky saw one of the men try to take the mother and child again, and their hands smashed into the shield. The man raised his weapon a fired
The energy discharge bounced off and struck the man in the shoulder. It caused him to flinch and nothing else. The mother and her little girl froze at first as the men started to fire more rapidly. The shots bounced back, and Sky made sure they didn’t go wild and hit the innocent crowd as they tried to run from the frantic men firing. The little girl realized she was in no danger but gave Sky a strange look as her bubble was filled with the light of the energy. The shots passed through her psychic body and did nothing to it. The book she held was being turned to ash from being hit repeatedly.
Sky was upset about the book, and she held up her hand and drew in the energy into it. It was not magical energy but soon would convert into the lightening element. The little girl looked at the book with purple tears in her eyes, her lips quivering. She cast her special healing spell, and the book was like brand new. The cover was even more vibrant and what few scratches were gone.
The guards or security stopped firing their weapons, seeing they had no effect and stood there pointing them at Sky. The hallway was now empty, with the exception of the men with weapons, the little girl and her mother. Behind the gathered crowd of armed men, Sky heard a loud sing-song voice and the men parted and dropped to their knees. Two more obese beings came forwards dressed in very flamboyant colours. The first one chanted as the other followed him. He had a strange metal hat with shiny stones and intricate designs. It was made from a shiny green crystal with blue and green polished stones. He looked like a ruler or a king. The other reminded her of a priest or prophet. When the mother and child saw them, they instantly put their heads to the floor and started to chant what sounded like a mixture of prayer and song. Sky didn’t know what to make of the two she didn’t want to show disrespect but at the same time wouldn’t want to pray to another being who was no true god. She did as the other men and slightly nodded her head in greeting.
They both walked as they were above everyone in the hallway. When the man who looked like a king reached her, he shouted something that made the mother tremble. She quickly looked to Sky and didn’t know what to tell her. When the man gestured to the fancy hat reached the other colourfully dressed man with similar facial features, he said something in a sweet-sounding voice she like the sound of. She didn’t know what he said, but the man brought up a wicked looking metal bar with tiny spikes on it and brought it down on top of, and through Sky’s illusionary body. She was unaffected by the blow. The man screamed at the one with the fancy metal hat touched his shoulder. He spoke to him with a serene expression in the same sweet voice. The priest turned to one of the men with the weapon pointed at the child. He spoke to the man in harsh tones, and the men answered head bowed. The fancy dressed man held if hand out to the little girl and spoke to her. The tiny girl lifted her head hesitantly shaking in fright. She pulled out her tiny bottle and reached through the shield. As she was about to put the drops in his hands, he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the shield, protecting her. He was fast and brought the wicked metal bar down on to her arm. Before she could feel the pain, she healed her with the inverted spell.
The man looked back to what Sky took as their leader. He smiled and gave a hand signal to him. With a vicious pull, he pulled her further from her traumatized mother. Sky could see what he was about to do and was ready this time. When he brought down the metal bar towards the tiny child’s head, it struck her head and bent over it. The girl brought her hand up to feel her head and felt nothing different. She looked back to Sky and gave her a faint smile. The man pulled back his now bent bar the tiny spikes blunted from the impact. In a rage, he swung it again at Sky, and she caught it in her hand. She pulled it from his grasp, pointed it down, and melted it down into a puddle of molten metal. The man pulled on to the tiny girl’s arm, and he lost his grip when she pulled it back. Sky helped her break free from the priest grip with telekinesis.
The girl ran back to her mother and hugged her tight. The girl's mother stroked her face and ran her fingers in her short hair. The gesture reminded her of her own mother’s affections. She spoke to the girl and then to Sky in their language. She started to get an idea of what she was saying but didn’t feel comfortable enough to respond. The little girl knocked a small device from the mothers pocket. Sky picked it up after making part of her body solid. She scanned it with her mind to find it as a multi-functional tool. She could use this to learn the language faster. As she heard them speak they're strange language she understood more and more. The mother looked distressed when Sky picked up her multi-tool. Sky handed it back along with the book to the mother and daughter.
The leader spoke to the fancy priest, and he too knelt before him. The leader stepped by and held his hand out to Sky palm down showing a row of rings on his fat fingers. It was in a way like she thought was thank you. But now thought differently of the man's gesture with her new found information.
The priest started to speak to the mother-daughter pair. “She’s trying to get all the lower tier people on to her side, so she is feeding you her magic straight. It’s addictive and will make you want to rebel against your betters. “ He turned to Sky and scowled at her with quivering fat jowls and squinting beady eyes. We feed you what you need and deserve. Just ask her if she killed your friend and all those people when we asked for help, ask her.” He said with a sneer in Sky’s direction.
The girl looked into Sky’s eyes with the unasked question, and she sobbed in response. “I never attacked anyone; I was attacked. They took everything from me without asking. At first, I knew nothing of my attackers. They sent giant spiders to hurt me, but my body can’t be hurt. While I was fighting, they started to take my spent magic. I was saved by some kind men, my mommy and daddy. Soon after they attacked me again, it felt like I was burning all over.” As she was telling her side of her story, the girl slowly moved back from her. Sky kept telling the child what she went through at the hands of their ruler. “It wasn’t until after I knew I hurt your people that I tried to see why you were trying so hard to take my magic. “ Sky turned to the fancy dressed fat ruler in anger. “That’s is when I trapped you into the bubble. I tried to feed you some of the magic you first took until I finished saving other people who needed my help. I came earlier thinking I trapped some of your pregnant mothers. So, that’s why I’m here now to make up for what I did. “ She turned back to the mother and daughter with sad eyes. “I want nothing from you but possibly your friendship. I was just trying to defend myself; I never knew I was hurting people like you and your mommy. I thought I was fighting people who were fighting me. I even tried to feed some mommy’s and their children. I had to leave, so I didn’t know what happened to you all.” She tried to plead with the girl, but all the little girl could see was the person who killed her friend.
The child’s mother understood what Sky was trying to say. “My flower the person before you thought she was up against warriors who were trying to kill her. What she did was to defend herself against something she didn’t know about. I was there when she went to feed some of the people in the third sector. I watched her channel to some of the starving people they were about to abandoned so we could use our energy to attack the ones trying to oppress us. I see now that we were misled in that it wasn’t an army, we were facing but a little girl with a lot of magic.” The mother said, stroking her daughter's hair. “Don’t be so quick to judge her.”
The ruler was not finished and still tried to incriminate Sky. “Why did she hold all her trano from us, ask her why she did not give it to us.” He said sneering at her and giving a worried look to their leader who showed the sign of living.
The little girl and her mother looked to Sky. Sky still with tears in her eyes, choked back a sob to answer. “How many of the tiny bottles can you eat in a day?” Before the girl could answer her question, the two fancy dressed men stopped her from replying.
The Priest who turned out to be the Rulers brother didn’t like Sky’s question spat at her. “Don’t answer with a question just tell her you’re just greedy and won’t give us what we want.”
Before he could spout more of his vile words from his wabbling face, Sky put him into stasis too. “The reason I’m asking because I was sending magic what you call trano to this ship in great quantities. I’m wondering if it was hoarded by your society’s elite. I know there are ways of storing trano on this ship, but they may have been taking more than what they need and storing it for themselves.” How much trano do you need each day, so I know if I was giving your people enough to go around”? Sky asked the mother and child.
To Sky surprise, one of the armed guards answered her. “I don’t know where you are going with this assumption? The upper class needs more than the lower class because we do the most work. One of those bottles a day is sufficient for the upper class for two days and enough for the lower class for five days. Some require even more to work magic for the common good of our race. The fat ones as you called them are most likely magic users and need at least one bottle a day to function.” The guard said and held up his larger bottle to show her his rations. “Being a guard and law enforcer, we require a larger amount. I get this filled every two days.”
Sky looked to the mother and her child and seen a look of surprise. “What you gave us just now will last us weeks. It’s is very concentrated the trano you gave us just now. When you used your magic that’s is the trano we’re used to. Even then, it was the sweetest across our skin.” The little girl nodded in agreement before remembering she was mad at the alien. She scowled at Sky, the one who killed her friend and many others were killed and hurt.
Sky looked to the girl, “I can’t bring back the dead, but I’ve healed the sick and injured already.” She bent over to the girl eye level. The girl was stubbornly looking away. “I don’t know what they’re doing with the concentrated trano they took from me let alone at of the trano they took from my battle with the giant spiders. They took enough for everyone to get fat for years. Even now they seem to be taking it as fast as I’m giving it to them. Some of your leaders must be very corrupt. They're either storing the magic or making something with it. I know for sure that they’re not sharing it like they're supposed to. I’m stopping the flow of trano until I know where it’s going and how it’s being distributed.” The mother looked shocked and in distress.
“You can’t we’ll starve if you do. Without your help, we have no place to get more. We’ve been looking for years and never found a reliable source that was enough for all of us.” She was on her knees, and she took Sky’s hand and brought it to her forehead. “Please done leave us with nothing we only just got over the starvation sickness.”
“Is that why your skin was dull looking? I was wondering why the author of the book looked more vibrant. That is when I cast a healing spell over the entire ship. I hoped it would work on your people; I tried it because it seems to work on everything so far. It’s a healing spell with the best intentions.”
The mother pulled up the thin sleeve of her shirt and stared at unblemished flesh. “My class is no longer marked.” The daughter quickly did the same and seen the skin her on her wrist was as smooth as the rest of her arm. She showed it to her mother, who was almost in tears with joy. The mother turned to Sky. “You are the saviour we were waiting for. In our teachings, it says a child from the stars well feed us. It said that he would take lives as payment for our sins and punish the wicked. He will lead us to a new land where there will no longer be split classes of our people, and we will prosper under his care. Says the god to his people.”
Sky thought of all the tales, and different religious prophesies. The one she found kind of funny because it was mistranslated so badly. It was originally just a bedtime story for little children that a crazy person wrote in her own made-up language. She called herself god as a joke. She told people that she found a book on her death bed, and she told them if you can translate it, it will ease your soul.
One of the early magic users took it upon himself to translate it alone. It became a popular religion for centuries. Until another person tried to translate it again and found too many mistakes to call it divine words, it was just ramblings of an old lady not long for the world.
“I’m no saviour, and I’m just a girl who will share what she has with whoever needs it. Before I go, I will make sure everyone gets what they need to live comfortably. “ Sky took the hand of the mother, who seemed to warm up to her. “I’ll have a meeting with all your people and see if I can put an end to the segregation of your types of traits. Hard work is the only thing you should be rewarded for. Not the simple fact your stronger or have magic. Almost everything built was by the lower class, and that is not right.” Sky said the mother before turning to the other men.
“I’ve got many things to do and not a whole lot of time to do it. I’m going to do a little tweaking of your audience chamber so everyone can fit. Five million sixty thousand and two, no three, no four, people are a lot. I guess the ones just born or gave birth doesn’t have to show up. They can listen through the sound system if they want. “
Sky turned to the guards who seemed till ready to take action at any slip-up. “I’m going to free your ruler and his brother to inform them they will have no say for now. So, if you want them free, you’ll keep them quiet and let them know they’re not the part of the ruling class. Should I cut him off from his magic? Maybe even take away his strength too”!
The men looked shocked at what Sky had said. She waved her hand over the two men, and they started to move instantly; they both kept on with their rants before realizing they were different.
The once ruler raised his hands and tried to call upon his magic, and nothing happened. “What have you done to me your vile creature. I can’t feel my magic or even my strength. I have nothing, you’ve taken everything from me you foul beast.” The ruler screamed at Sky. His voice is louder and more shrill than any men should be. Gone was the sing-song holier than thou voice.
With a wave of her hand again, she took his voice. “I removed you from being the ruler under your own laws are written tens of thousands of years ago. You have not acted in your people best interests and caused many to die to keep your elite class alive in opulence. For this, I have cause to strip you of your rule.” She told him before she turned to her hopefully new friends.
“My name is Sky Knight, I can’t be here in person for many reasons, and I still want to be friends. I would like to know your names. It was you and your daughter who welcomed me to this ship, and she was willing to give what was clearly a precious gift.” Sky asked the two people before her. They are taking each hand in turn to her forehead. “This at one time was how people greeted loved ones and people they respected greatly. It was changed to what they call a sign of submission to the greater class. I would like to see the old ways return in this respect. Too many traditions have been put aside for the simple reason of control of others.
The mother took Sky’s hand and brought it to her forehead. “I’m Lexius Henna. Pleased to meet you, Sky Knight. I hope everyone receives you well.”
The tiny girl, with little hesitation, took her hand and brought it to her forehead as her mother did. “My name is Nansius Henna; I’m sorry for blaming my friend’s death on you. I guess when swatting at stinging creatures blindly, you may hit the net. It will happen even more so if the nest comes with the stinging creature are still in the nest.” She said to Sky. She looked at the man who was the ruler and back at Sky. “Are you really going to help us pick a new ruler even though you’re not staying”?
“Yes, your laws never mention that an outside party can’t help with finding a new ruler. It just should be someone with the best interest of the people in mind. If I were older and not doing so much already, I might take a little longer to help find another planet too. But right now, I’ll settle with helping everyone being taken care of physically and socially.”
The ex-rulers brother started to yell at Sky when she turned to him and started to raise her hand, he changed his pitch. “Pardon me but where in the law does it say that an outsider can usurp a ruler of the Tranis people? Could you show me this in the archives you can write it in the air like before”? He said with his tone almost pleasant.
Sky was happy to see him try and be courteous. “I can show you if you will follow me. I have to start soon, so I must be on my way. I assure you that what I’m doing has no benefit to me other than making new friends and helping others.” Sky gestured in front of her, and the script of their law showed before them. “It is one of the older ones, but there is no mention of it being repealed or changed.”
The man reached into his pocket and brought out a small tablet and accessed the law himself. He saw it was just how she wrote it in the air. “Do you know all the laws of our people or just the ones you could use for yourself”? he said with a smile
“I know all of your laws and can speak with total confidence that I in no way am violating any.” She said, making her way to the main audience chamber. It would become one of the most enhanced room to scale she has ever done.
The man and his now mute brother frantically looked for a loophole and found none. What they did find was more disturbing. They found that for what deaths they caused could mean they could pay with their own lives if the issue was pressed. They looked to each other after reading the possible conviction. Then looked to Sky and seen a girl who seemed to be the type to follow the law to the word with no colourful misdirection to her benefit. They regarded one another with fear in their eyes. She had the law on her side and the power to act it out if the people wanted her to.
Sky turned to the two brothers who were now worried about their lives. “I will not bring what you’re looking at up, and I doubt anyone knows of that old law. I’ll just be happy to see you get some kind of community service for your deeds the rest of your natural lives. I just hope you learn to see what an equal society can do for your people before your time comes. There is a lot of old ways of thinking to get there. The road to forgiveness on the now social elite is very long. The transition is not going to be easy because of your widening the gap between the classes. Looking at your history, I think the people of Tranis can be great once more and prosper. You just need the right people running the leadership.” Sky told the people following her, not just the men now with their heads turned down is a reflection or scheming.
Once she entered the large room, she planned on how to make it not only bigger but with enough seats. Around the ship, there were thousands of tonnes of material to use. Now she needed an access point, and there was a large window in the ceiling in the hull. Everything was set now to work she said to herself.
“All right everyone out into the hall, it is going to get a little disorientating. I’m going to use an extreme amount of magic, and you all will gain a little weight.” She ushered them out with her hands. While they cleared the room, she gathered the magic into her non-corporeal body. Her real body would have to eat soon if she was going to finish the mission and feed these people. She formed the idea of what she wanted and used the same magic Todd use to make the bathroom fixtures. In a flash, the room started to grow bigger and more elevated rows the large window opened, and chairs started to fly into the spaces she had made.
The look on the people's faces was priceless. They never seen magic used like this; they only had two of the five elemental gifts. It was a new way of working magic to them. All they ever used was tech, and physical materials to build anything. The pocket space spell they never knew was possible and didn’t have the magic to perform the spell. They felt they spent magic wash over them, and it was incredible and delicious. They found raw magic had to be the water or air element to eating. Spent magic could be any mixture of the five elements to eat. It was a vast gourmet meal that all the people of trams were enjoying. The two brothers found themselves humbled at the taste of her magic. The way she fought the pets that were enlarged had not been refined by a spell. It was almost like raw magic and was not very tasty. It was too difficult for some to absorb, and many went hungry.
Everyone on the entire ship could feel and taste the magic being wielded. Sky was almost done, so she had the computer ask everyone to come to the assembly hall to choose a new ruler. “It is a great day for most people of Tranis. Grievous injustices were done to our people. The kindness of a stranger in accordance with the law the former ruler was unseated for crimes committed against you. If you would like to help, choose a new ruler to come to the audience chamber. The stranger made sure there is adequate seating for all. The nourishment you are receiving is a by-product of this accomplishment. If you don’t wish to attend, don’t complain about any outcome, you would have had a say in. You all are welcome to voice your opinions, and all will be heard per your own laws. The stranger known as Sky Knight will be a non-bias arbiter for the proceedings. Anyone who would like to rule the people of Tranis in a lawful way places your name in the queue at any terminal. Your name will be processed and put on the ballots if your standings are in accordance with the law. If you were convicted of any capital offences or found to be of questionable conduct your name will be removed without question. Please come and help you and your people of Tranis to be great once more.”
People were standing in doorways, watching the room transform and feeling the magic being used. As the last chairs were placed, and the large window resealed the invisible barriers were brought down, the people started to flow in from the doorways. The first ones to appear were dressed in fine and colourful clothing and many were on the hefty size to be put mildly. The healing spell would have helped with that, but they must have gorged themselves to gain the amount of weight they had just put on. Sky had noticed some visibly had more than one container for the trano they carried on themselves. She was going to have to find a way to make them see how their greed is hurting everyone, including themselves in the end.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan
8 4704Memories (Completed)
Jacob woke up in a hospital with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He realised very soon that he had lost more than his memories. His girlfriend, who was with him, was murdered. He is now out to find the person responsible and take revenge. But how difficult will it be when he can't even remember the person who he has lost or even anything about himself. Author's Note: This will be a short story, and I plan to finish it soon. I used to hate when stories were left incomplete. So I promise not to do that. This is my first story ever. So please provide your feedback in any way you can. Enjoy the story
8 116The Darkness of the Sun
In the island of Draca, the word Possession has a singular meaning – the Possessed are taken to King Iretsa’s castle, a journey from which no one returns, alive or dead. When Jubi’s beloved father is Possessed, she determines to save him. But her quest is upended when she finds that her father has joined the monsters. He demands that she does the same. If she consents, immortality-in-dribbles will be hers; a refusal will mean deathlessness - of the less enticing kind.
8 180I Am Not The Main Character
Laying listlessly on his couch, Daire recalled his favorite book. "He killed them all." That cheeky author... The last book in the series rested on his lap. Completed. The characters never to rise again. "It can't be over." Closing his eyes, he whispered a prayer. A wish to set things right. (Cover Artwork is my copyrighted original.
