《When LitRPG Destroys Earth》Chapter 11

Long before the sun arose, Nashi's eyes already wide opened. Although he didn't want that, he needed to keep making the goblin bomb. With its cooldown time and the crafting time including the success chance, the best he could make per day, including his sleeping time was 13.

While patiently waiting for the cube turned into a bomb, between continuing his sleep or training, Nashi chose the latter. He went to the outside with a mace in his hand, swinging it around while doing a different kind of battle simulation in his mind.

Kicking the ground as if the small green goblins were standing in front of him. A front kick as if the hobgoblin was charging at him, followed by elbow strike into its back, grabbing its ear and slamming his face to the ground. And lastly throwing the stone as if it was a bomb.

Maybe it was because the sound of stones hitting the tree, or the sound of metal making contact with the wind, or the foul smell from the blood-stained blood or the group always woke this early. In the end, as the warm sun ray stroke his skin, the others began to step out of their tents.

Some were making the breakfast, some were opening the cubes, and Mori silently walked toward Nashi. "Boy, we need to talk."

(Is it because of the last night incident?) In his defence, they were free to try and steal the cubes from him as long as he didn't know it. Though, hitting the college guy might be a wrong thing, considering he was the stranger and the college one was the one that already lingered with them. At least he thought he did the necessary thing.

Exclusion? getting kicked out? or what? As he walked toward the serious-looking people. The grandpa, the foreigner, the thin father, the long-haired mother, one of the college student, the foreigner and two businessmen were watching him as he took a seat. A lot of possibilities were circling around in his mind right now but much to his surprise, it wasn't anything like that.

"Should we move into another spot?" Said the thin father. Kaiba, pointy cheekbone, deep eye bags on his eyes with the sign of baldness in his curly hair.

"But this is the best spot, we have a water supply, and it is located near the crossroad. Just wait for a few more days and the help will surely come!" Said the businessmen subordinate. Honda. Glasses, hair like the reverse bowl and mole on his chin.

Snorted, Yuya the spiky green coloured-hair college student said. "Puhlease~ What help? this is already the fourth day and we barely see anyone crossed this road."

With the distressed look, the grandpa groaned while holding his head. "Yuya is right, moreover from my experience, the smell itself can attract more beast to come into this location."

"So what? We're going to ditch this spot? I don't know about you stupid people but I am not going to leave this spot." Said the businessmen boss. Manzo with his beer belly, thick lips, oily face and hair like a doughnut. Once again he spoke as his spit flying out of his mouth. "And why should we care about those things? aren't we have that brat with us?" Manzo said with his finger pointed toward Nashi.

The long curly hair mother, Ritsuko frowned at Manzo's words. "You're telling a child to fight against those monsters? Pathetic coward. And if I am not wrong, weren't you trying to run away last night?"

Startled, Manzo only gulped his saliva as his face turned red. "Huh?! What do you know about that woman?! I was planning to use the car and ramming them with it."

With a deep sigh, Mori stood and shouted at him. "Helping him? As far as I know, I only saw you running away while gathering the cubes, heck, you barely useful in this group."

This time Manzo turned his head toward Mori, the anger first showed in his eyes, then a tension of his muscles and his fist clenched on his side.

Near on their side, feeling the tension the dark-skinned bald foreigner, Sam opened his mouth. "Gentlemen, aren't our topic is a bit off the mark?"

Scratching his head, as Nashi was staring at Manzo, thinking that even Yuzu wouldn't buy his lie. Suddenly his brain jolted as he just realized something, raising his hand he said. "...Why don't we just split up?"

But the only response that he got was a loud laugh completed with a spits flying out of Manzo's mouth."Gahaha!! Split up you say? This is why you should just kill those things and left the decision making to- ack."

Couldn't even finish his word, Nashi already used Intimidation, glaring at him as he was enjoying his time watching Manzo having a hard time to breathe with his shaky hands. "...So my opinion isn't important, right? Anyway, I don't like you and there's no need for me to listen to your word, PIG." He said before he slowly stood and turned off the Intimidation but got stopped by Mori.

"As much I hate this, I actually have the same idea in my mind. The problem is where should we go? North?" Said Mori.

Shaking his head, "...No, it is a danger area." Said Nashi.

Hearing the word danger area, the others only raised their eyebrows as the reply. Scratching his head, Nashi briefly explained about the area difference, how the geography shifted and everything else.

"Wait! Are you saying that less in the three days the horde of monsters will be coming to us?!" Honda's shout echoed throughout the whole camp, loud enough to gather everybody attention to their spot.

"...It's not my word, anyway that's all I know about the whole thing." Nashi said before he walked his way out of the group.

Walked to his sisters, slowly he sat down while thinking the number of people he already antagonized in his group. First, it was the college group, although he somehow realized that not every member of their group were thinking bad of him, and the second one was Manzo.

Clicking his tongue, regretting why didn't he just lay a punch on his face, he continued his training, raising his Slash Weapon Mastery and Throwing Weapon Mastery into rank II and IV.

And what followed the notification was Mori, walking toward his direction. "The decision has been made."

Then he gathered the attention of the others, as they silently watched, grandpa was standing and explaining their decision like a headmaster doing orientation for new students, it was a long explanation and full of reasoning but in the end the decision was moving the camp but before that they needed to scout the new area before the others that couldn't fight followed them.

"For anyone that wants to volunteer, please raise your hand." Said grandpa.

And it didn't much of a surprise for seeing only three people raising their hands. Mori, Sam and Yuya.

"You're not going?" Ume whispered as she watched the three sacrificial lambs.

"...Is there any reason for us?" Nashi answered, thinking it wasn't a necessary action. In his mind, even if things turned to shit in their current spot, he was sure enough he could manage to run away with his sisters.

Silently Ume pointed at Yuzu and whispered. "She seems to enjoy her times in this group. Well, whatever if you don't want to go then I'll go."

As she tried to raise her hand, with a big sigh Nashi held it down. "...No, you can't go, it's too dangerous."

"Hmph, listen they have a better chance if I go with them and why should I listen to your words?" Ume said as she brushed Nashi's hand.

But much to her surprise, just before she raised her hand, her brother already raised his. "...Happy? Now just put your hand down and stay, someone needs to take care of her. Anyway if things go bad just take her away and leave the other behind."

Though Ume only answered by clicking her tongue. "Shit, now I get stuck with them." she muttered in a low voice.

Unknowingly to her, Nashi's eyes were wide opened when he heard about her reason. (...Indeed, somehow I don't trust the leftover either.)

After thinking for a while, he raised his hand and shouted to attract others attention. "Wait~ Now that I think about this, why should we put ourselves in a danger?"

Shrugging his shoulder, the grandpa answered to him. "It's fine if you want to bail out from this."

"Nay~ That's not what I mean, I mean it just not fair right? while the four of us working our ass to scout the safe location. SOME people in here will sit HIS ass down while waiting for our result? No, I know some should stay to protect the camp, but don't you think... maybe~ just maybe~ like I don't know, we should've more member? like I don't know, two more people."

Stopping at his word, he looked to Manzo. "Oi, fatso, didn't you say you wanted to HELP me last night? why don't you help us now?"

Snorted, Manzo only replied to Nashi. "Hah! I don't even agree with this decision and brat, don't you parent ever teach you about addressing someone older than you?"

"They did, I'm just not a good kid. Anyway, if you do not agree with this decision then I'll make sure to break your legs once we will move into another spot." Nashi crackled his fingers, as he said his sentence in monotone but his eyes clearly glared at Manzo, prepared to even break his legs if he didn't want to join with them.

Gulping his saliva down, even without using Intimidation his hands already shook. And before Manzo said another word or ordered his subordinate. The blue ponytail hair girl from the college group raised her hand. "Indeed, it is unfair if they're the only one that risks their life. Can I join?"

Shrugged his shoulder. "Of course, well whatever, it seems like the big sister over there is more manly than you. heck, I bet yours is far smaller than her pinky finger." Albeit he wanted to clearly state what the thing was, but considering there were three children listening to his words, especially one of them was his five-year-old sister. But it seemed his words hit the bullseye as a vein throbbed in Manzo forehead.

"You have some problem with me huh brat?! why don't you ask someone else?!" He shouted as he stood. "Heck, don't you know someone else needs to protect the camp?! I volunteer myself for that duty! Oi! Honda! Go join the volunteer group!" but what followed was the cold intimidating glare coming from Nashi's eyes.

As Manzo dropped into his knees. "...Didn't I already mention about that? and don't worry, Ume can take your place in protecting the camp. And who else I should ask? Kaiba and Ritsuko? or maybe the grandpa? they have family they need to protect, ah~ maybe I should ask their child instead?"

Slowly he walked to Manzo, releasing his intimidation and giving him friendly smile. "Anyway, yes, somehow I just don't like you, don't ask me why, maybe~ because you're trying to steal and ditch this group? or maybe~ because you're thinking that you can order me around?"

Groaning, Manzo shouted. "Oi! Honda! Go with them!"

Disgusted or annoyed wasn't the best description for Nashi's feeling right now, but before he could say any word grandpa cut his conversation off. "...Manzo, Honda is younger and physically stronger than you, we need him to protect the camp. And Nashi, if he doesn't want to go you can't force him."

Shrugged his shoulder, the coldness in Nashi's eyes slowly gone. "...Whatever, but don't stop me for breaking his legs down if he wants to follow us into our new spot. In fact, why don't I just break it right now?" Said Nashi casually, but maybe because Manzo felt intimidated by his words, finally he agreed to join the volunteer group.

Chuckled a little bit, it was funny for Nashi to see him he could intimidate an adult like this. But as the heavy atmosphere lingered on the camp, once again Nashi remembered that this wasn't the same Earth it used to be.
