Once again, the road trembled when another car passed without even slowing down. "Oi!! Don't go to the main road!!" Ume shouted, tried to warn the third passerby but instead what she got was a small pebble hitting her forehead.

"...Shut up, we're trying to get some sleep." Nashi said with half closed eyes. "...And no need to warn them you stupid, they don't even try to help us."

"Excuse me~?!" She said as he rubbed her forehead. "Listen, do you know for every person that died on that place meaning it is plus one zombie?!"

"...So? We can circle the place, anyway stop shouting, Yuzu is still sleeping." Nashi said as he sitting up, though, even if his sister was annoying with all of her shoutings, at the very least she did try to warn them. So yeah, at least they didn't need to feel responsible for not telling them.

As he scratched his hair while the sleepiness and the tiredness were gone from his body. "...By the way, how's your progress?"

"Not bad~ My Running raised to the lvl 2 and I got Slash Weapon Mastery too. There is no news on the radio though. Anyway~ [Entangle]"

Along with her mystical word, a root began to wrap Nashi's legs, strong and flexible enough to make him had a hard time to destroy it. "...Damn, you're a smart one aren't you?"

With a big grin, she had a smug look on her face as her thumb wiped her nose like some famous martial artist. "Hmph! The spellbook is simple once you get the basic."

"...I take back what I just said." Said Nashi as he took another piece of cigarette, as they watched the smoke twirling in the air. "...Say, do you think what we did the right thing?"

"About what?"

"...You know, at first, I kinda thought it would be better for Yuzu to learn to fight... but yeah, somehow watching her doing that kinda make me sad... huh, I guess that was what mom and dad felt when they saw me fighting huh."

Even though Nashi did a serious talk since it came from his mouth, Ume only snorted. "Hmph, you sounded like an old man right now, then what? you're going to say you're having a backache?"

Her answer was as cold as the night was, with a wry smile Nashi replied to her. "Geez, I'm seriously in a melancholy mode here, well whatever, it is the right thing for now." Throwing the blanket to her. "Just sleep, I'll take the watch." Said Nashi when he noticed Ume's half-opened eyes.

And he was right, not a minute passed when he said that an unfeminine snore came from her mouth. And feeling the necessity to train his body, he stood up and began to follow the instruction from the skill scroll.

The skill scroll was filled with a picture, more precisely a step per step pictures of how doing the skill, it began with the picture showed him how to do the stance, first Nashi began to stand with his feet had shoulder-width apart, and one foot in front of the other. Next with the mace on his dominant hand, he stroke the area in front of him while visualizing someone of his height and build stood before him.

It wasn't an easy one though since he needed to precisely follow the picture, the angle, the degree, the leg position, the way he spun his wrist. And by the time the sun started to shine, he finally felt comfortable with the basic over-head and sidestroke. Alongside with this, the progress of his Bludgeon Weapon Mastery III went to 47 and he got another talent.

Another Talent has awoken in your body. You gain Mace Weapon Mastery rank I. +1 Control when you are using Mace type weapon in your dominant hand.

With the notification, he felt confident that he could learn the said skill. With his hand slowly opening the scroll, a screen popped out and told that he finally worthy enough to learn the skill.

Name Holy Smite Lvl 1 Technique Cost 3 Cooldown 9 (8.5) second. Charging Speed 1 second. Range Melee Weapon Bludgeon Type Weapon. Effect Strike with 6 + Power damage. Base damage tripled if attacking a dark type enemy.

Clenching the mace as tightly as he could, he began to remember the posture and the step he needed to do before he activated the Holy Smite. As he gathered his breath, he could feel something warm flowing into his hand and slowly moving into his mace, and as he felt both of his hand and his mace fused into one, he began to swing the mace to the ground. 

The ground cracked when his mace making the contact with it, the sound itself sounded like a car just hammered against the stone wall. Loud enough to make both of Ume and Yuzu instantly opened their eyes. "What happened?!" Said Ume as she grabbed her bow and dazedly looking around.

"...Sorry, that's me."

And once again their morning started early as they ate the calory bar, use some water to clean their body and began to continue their way. Though, rather than going straight to the main road, they took the other more bumpy road. 

On their journey, the goblins, and the dire rats wasn't a big challenge for them. Their strategy was perfect, and following the jungle law, if they met a strong enemy, they would hide and move stealthily. And what they categorized by the strong was every enemy they couldn't beat or having a hard time beating them, some of them were human-sized walking tree Lvl 7 Treant, the goat-like man Lvl 8 Faun, a big green toad that could spew acid; Lvl 13 Acid Frog and several other things.

Maybe his father was right, sometimes fighting everything wasn't the best option. Sometimes the best option was to become a coward and devour the weak. And by repeatedly doing this, right before they decided they would stop and take a lunch, they met a group of goblin, but this time it had Lvl 4 Goblin Thief and Goblin Shaman along with several other goblins and dire rats surrounding them.

Following the same strategy, Nashi walked in, using Intimidation and Ume would snipe and burn them from afar. And if Nashi wasn't able to block their way, Ume would use Entangle to wrap their feet, stopping their movement for a few seconds but few seconds was more than enough for him to completely bashed their head. 

But this time, the goblins had their own strategy. As the small and hunched Goblin Thief moving their way to Ume and Yuzu, the Goblin Shaman began to chant something and hurl the rock toward Nashi, stopping him from blocking the Goblin Thief movement.

Unknowingly to those two goblins, as the basketball sized rock hurled at his way, he raised his knee and grabbing the mace with both of his hand, hitting the rock like it was nothing but an oversized baseball ball. Destroying it to pieces and bouncing some of the shrapnel back to the Goblin Shaman.

Following this, he immediately turned his back and threw the dagger to the Goblin Thief, though... before his dagger was able to make contact with the Goblin Thief, an arrow already pierced its head. 

And just like that, the Goblin Thief dropped dead. Losing its partner, the Goblin Shaman eyes turned red and it began to chant some weird language, but before Nashi was able to do anything another arrow flew right into the goblin's eye.

While watching their leader dropped to their demise, several other goblins began to run away while some stood still, fighting to the last breath with the dire rat. 

A few minutes later, the battle was over when Nashi bashed the brain out of the last goblin. All in all, before lunch, both of Nashi and Ume got 258 and Yuzu got 52. Not too mention the massive amount of cubes, 24 coins, 5 different coloured orbs, one skill scroll, two cards and Nashi Thug's level raised to level two.

Thug 2/12 Feature Frightening Lvl 1 Level 1 Intimidation Lvl 1. Level 2 (Choose One.) Increase Class Status or Increase Frightening Level.

Between the former and the latter, considering that Frightening was parallel with his presence, Nashi chose the increased status, giving him another +2 Power, +2 Defence, +1 Endurance, +1 Perception, +2 Speed, + 2 Presence, and + 1 Break.

Next, rather than distributing the coins like who wanted it and who didn't, they make a simple rule. They chose three types of coin, and for every five coins they would take the first one, gave one to the other, then took another one and gave the other one to the last siblings, with the last remaining coin equally distributed.

As for the orbs, they distributed it equally until each of their value reached 50.

With the new rule, Nashi picked Arms, Body and Luck coin, whilst Ume took Senses, Muscle and Magic, with Yuzu took Legs, Mind and Soul. With Charisma coin became the one that equally distributed.

For this time, Nashi took 2 Arms coins, 1 Body coin and 2 Luck coins, 1 leg coin, 1 charisma coin, and 1 muscle coin, with him taking the green craft orb and the orange technique orb.

Ume took 1 arms coin, 1 luck coin, 1 legs coin, 2 magic coins, 1 mind coin, and 2 muscle coins. With the blue mana orb and yellow stamina orb for her 

While Yuzu took 1 soul coin, 1 luck coin, 2 mind coins, 1 muscle coin, 1 magic coin, and 2 legs coins and she took the red health orb.

For the skill scroll, it was a dagger type skill scroll and none of them was worthy for learning that. The last was another class card, Trainee and a blank card that could be used to raise a skill feature level or skill level.

And as Yuzu eating her lunch, the two older siblings were discussing who should take the blank card. And after giving it some thought, between scanning enemy, scanning mysterious Item and storing an item. The decision was clear enough, at least for now, since they could survive without any trouble with Lvl 1 Mini-Map, the one that took both of the cards was Ume.

Trainee 1/4 Feature None Level 1 (Choose one) +20 progression to Slash Weapon Mastery I or +20 progression to Archery or learn Bludgeon Weapon Mastery I or learn Piercing Weapon Mastery I or Spellcasting I.

Without thinking about it too much, Ume picked Spellcasting I. And for her level 2 Inspect, she able to detect any item that had Value 20 or lower. And how much this made them happy, as she Inspected every cube, the few things that they found useful were:

4 Lesser Health Potion Lvl 1: Restores 50 Health in 5 seconds. Value: 15

2 Lesser Mana Potion Lvl 1: Restores 25 Mana in 5 seconds. Value: 15

2 Lesser Technique Potion Lvl 1: Restores 25 Technique in 5 seconds. Value: 15

1 Lesser Craft Potion Lvl 1: Restore 25 Craft in 5 seconds. Value: 15

8 Fire Stone: A stone that will create fire when it breaks. Rarity common, quality 20, Value: 11.

1 Ring of Regeneration: Increase Health regen by 3. Rarity Uncommon, quality 150. Value: 20.

1 Void Neckale: Increase Mana regen by 3. Rarity Uncommon, quality 125. Value: 20.

And the other numerous number of cubes were nothing but equipment and foods. With some consideration of Yuzu's Inventory limit, they decided not to open another equipment unless they found a better one compared to their former equipment.

And then, after they finished their rest they continued to walk for some amount of distance. And before the sky turned orange, from the corner of their eyes they found a white van surrounded with several tents on its side.
