《The Worst》Chapter 33 -

Galie's POV
Once they descended the mountain they didn't go for the forests and made a line to the fortress, after all, here forth it was Jin territory.
"Who goes there!"
Shouted the strangely dressed guard, they wore strange rather thin armors and their weapons were two strangely short pikes, while on their heads they wore strange round hats made of bamboo.
The two guards went on alert mode but after seeing the name tags and the female members of their team with a gloomy expression they opened the gate of the fort and let them inside.
Any white name player was welcomed into the Jin territory even Yokai players if they wanted to switch sides were free to enter, of course until their names became red.
For some reason the two guards became depressed when they saw the three girls enter and quite enthousiastic when they saw Max. They couldn't tell if they were gay or not but something was rather strange inside the fort.
With one look they could tell that there were very few players around and all of them were male warriors, they wore colourful silk robes and some of them thin armors with beautiful engravings and figures on them.
"Where can we sell our wares?"
Lidie asked rather spondaneously the passing guard.
It was easy to tell the guards from the players since all players had their name above their heads.
Of course only the guards wore the strange rather cheap looking bamboo hats.
"Just go towards the plaza over there and see if anyone cares to buy anything, otherwise go to the quartermaster, but know that he's too stingy"
The guard said and pointed them towards the plaza and quartermaster.
Of course only Lidie and Max who had become her follower or something went to the plaza, after all she had no way of haggling with npcs for a better price than a player would buy although her items were mostly raw ingredients from the Yokai territory.
Galie and Red went around the fort to see what was going on. For some reason all npcs were negative towards them, they looked at them and sighed in submission, as if they were some bad omen or something.
"You there, why are the npcs here so rude!"
Red asked a player who was passing by.
The player laughed for a while and then beggun explaining.
"Dear beauties, you probably don't know the other name players have given to the Jin territory, right?"
"Is there another name, I didn't see anything about it on the forums"
Galie said somewhat surprised.
"Well you probably didn't see the right ones, you have to know that the Jin territory is also called the beautiful territory or even the land of beauties"
He said with a rather sincere smile, although his half closed eyes seemed rather strange to Galie who hadn't see asian people before.
"What does that have to do with anything?"
Red said rather disatisfied with the answer he had provided them.
"You have to know that we players are currently in a war, with the Yokai, but do you see any female players other than yourselves here in the fort?"
He asked them with a rather sincere smile, but his words almost told them everything that was happening.
"Well there is Lidie but other than..."
Galie was saying but red stopped her in the middle since she understood somewhat the situation.
"So how long will it be to the closest city?"
Red asked, she didn't care about the fort anyway, she had money money to spend and if her prediction was right then this city should be a paradise.
"Just follow the road, in a week on foot or two days by horse you will find the first noob village, from there you will have to spend another week to reach the first town, from there you will reach the Imperial city, lastly if you are lucky enougth you might visit the Heavenly City, which is said to be where gods reside"
"Wait aren't the fourteen gods in their own dimensions?"
Galie who was a mage asked somewhat puzzled.
"fourteen? you must mean the western gods, the gods I refer to are the Jin, they are hundreds and maybe thousands and their powers are rather profound"
The man said with a sense of pride in his voice.
"So It will take nearly a month to reach without horses, Do you know where we can find a few mounts"
Red asked, more interested about leaving the fort to go shoping than learning the local lore.
"Just go ask the quartermaster, he sells almost everything in the fortress and please do add me as a friend"
The man said sending Red a friend request.
Red pushed yes in a hurry and they left, they could hear a "Yosh!" comming from behind them as they left but a moment later Red had already deleted him from her frineds list.
Galie could only think that it was somewhat mean but she didn't really care.
They saw a rather desperate Lidie when they reached the quarter master, when they asked her about it she told them how the things went.
As a matter of fact, she did sell her best items easily but most of the weapons and armors were western style swords and weapons, they players didn't care about them and the materials they had gotten were too common to sell.
The Quartermaster on the other side would buy them all but he asked her for a better price, and even bargained his way to lower the prices she wanted for them by a ridiculous 70%. In the end she didn't sell anything.
"Don't mind"
Galie said to raise her spirits.
"Oh, Right, Lidie we are leaving for the Imperial city today, it will take about a week until we arrive, do you want anything from there?"
Red said rather jokingly.
"How mean, are you going to leave us here!"
Galie protested after all she could feel that Red was trying to keep something good for herself.
In truth she could have just read her mind but she didn't want to ruin the future experience prematurely.
After all she wouldn't stay on earth for too long, she had to treasure every moment with her new friends.
Red made a funny face until she exploded into laughting her heart out, most of it was because Galie looked like a begging kitten right now, too damn cute to reject even if she wanted to.
With that and disregarding Max's opinion they rented a wagon and headed strait towards the Imperial city.

Domina's Side
All that happened those days could be described with one word by him "BORING". After he entered the Demon world he could go nowhere, there were no towns of any sort and they few buildings of importance were other powerful demon lairs.
Domina didn't even care to visit them after all even if he went there was nothing to gain, only now did he discover that he couldn't equip any weapons. His new race was a Doom Demon, it was total bullshit in his opinion but who cared about it after all.
Only one thought drifted in his mind, or rather one question.

'Do I delete this character or do I wait for a little longer?'
You should understand that his size now was big enough to step on his whole legion of fire demons with a single step, only because he could change his size with some strange ability was he 3 meters tall like before, in reality he could rival a dragon in size.
"What is happening there?"
Domina asked after hearing a commotion at the entrance, he didn't know what was happening outside but it was most probably something intresting.
There was no answer from the entrance of the lair and seconds later a group of seemingly veteran demons came inside, they were humanoid beings that could be considered strong.
A vampire, a robot, a ghost pirate and a rather large amount of demons gathered in front of his bed.
'Great moment for a fight!'
He thought but what followed was something out of his expectations.
All the demons knelt before him and a pitch black devil with horns and wings spoke.
"We came to submit to your reign, the Bethree region now belongs to you"
Domina was speechless, after all in his understanding the demon realm went from A-Z and each had 26 regions. these regions were really large, each as large as the whole of Allastar.
(after all they were used to test new things for all the worlds here, not just for Allastar)
At first Domina thought that it was a trap or something but as he stood up and walked towards them he couldn't see any trace of deception from them, not that it mattered, he had a cheat character anyway.
"Milord, we took the liberty to build a fortress in your name, if you don't like it we can built you another"
The Devil said with a rather alluring voice that somewhat got to his nerves, if he wasn't ugly he would have probably been a lady killer.
"Then why don't we go and see"
Domina said and hit the ceilling with his monstrous paw, opening a large hole that reached the surface.
Afterwards with a smile on his woolie pigface he flew upwards into the sky.
The others, those who could followed him to the sky while the rest surfaced through the hole he left behind.
Domina could see the Fortress in his ownership list, it was a rather large fort but it was rather far away.
He could fly there but wasn't there some easier way to travel, something like a horse or maybe a teleportation spell or something.
"You, who seems to be their leader, do you know of any way to travel faster?"
He asked the Black devil that flew right behind him.
"My lord, teleportation powers are really rare, there's only one being in the whole demon world who has that power and he is Sho Doom's helper, he's the ruler of A1 region, but the demons there are too ancient and strong, even you might not be their match"
The devil said with a sinister smile on his face, probably trying to bait Domina to go there.
"How far is the A1 region?"
To his surprise, the Devil took out a strange crystal and handed it over to him.
"This is that call crystal that only the ruler of a region may have, it has two fuctions, first is the right to challenge the ruler of a region and second the power to teleport you to the target demon you want to fight"
The demon said with a rather annoying smile.
"And how does it work?"
Domina asked after he took the crystal.
"Just say Sho I challenge you to a fight and you will appear before him"
The Devil said, in truth his smile was annoying and after checking the Item there wasn't anything wrong with it either, no special skills and no hidden effects, just a teleportation stone with no target to teleport to.
"Sho I challenge you..."
He didn't even hav enough time to say the whole sentence as he teleported away.
He saw the Devil wave his hand as he dissapeared.
Only now did he came to understand something, yes this was a teleport stone but it wasn't something as laborious as what the devil told him it was, he probably had thousants of those on him.
A system message appeared before him as he dissapeared, for some reason this teleportation ston took too much time to teleport him away.
=Due to leaving the B3 territory your ownership of the fort city of B3 is renounced and returns to the previous owner Demon Satan=
'What the fuck'
As he faded away the demons behind begun celebrating and flatering the Black Devil.
"Master Satan is wise, you easily redirected our problem to another territory and even better to the most dangerous territory possible"
A slender demon that looked like a vampire said with a rather cold voice.
"Just thinking that such a powerfull demon was in my region gave me goosebumps"
A Sexy succubus said, while panting in a strange rather sexy way.
"No need for more flattery, it was a fortunate thing that he was a newborn fool, if he knew even a little about the demon world he wouldn't have fallen for such a stupid act"
Satan the Black Devil said as his deep red forked tongue came out of his mouth.
Domina slowly appeared in a dark chamber, the whole place looked like a cave and under his feet there were countless bones covered in a mucky red substance.
A voice came from somewhere up ahead and reverberated from all directions, making it sound as if a terrifying being was upon.
"Welcome to my lair, I am Sho"
"Sho-Sho-Sho"
The echos continued for some time later even after he had stopped speaking reverberating his name.
=====================================================
Max's POV
Two days were all they needed to arrive to the first noob village, the road was 100% safe and not many people used a carriage like Red, after all carriages were more expensive than simple saddled horses.
"Wow look we arrived at a village"
Galie exclaimed while looking out of the carriage's window, the carriage was an old western style aristocratic carriage, only nobles would ride such a luxurious carriage and many people were somewhat envious of them as they passed through the village.
"Don't bother with the village, we must reach the city, then you will understand the real meaning of life"
Red said, but her words seemed to birth disdain in Lidie's face, after all only the rich can find enjoyment in shoping, the rest can just look around the shops wanting but not being able to buy anything.
Noticing the slight hint of envy Max who was somewhat loaded himself opened his mouth.
"Lidie if you like anything just tell me and I'll be happy to buy it for you"
Of course his disposition was good but after he spoke he earned a smile from Lidie and an elbow from Red.
He had entirely ruined her mood now. After all the next best thing to going shopping is going shoping with ones boyfriend.
Only Galie didn't understand what they were talking about, she was like a fish out of water. Of course she too had some gold to spare but she didn't understand why they were so happy about going shopping after all there was many exciting and more interesting things.
Two days later...
They had reached the first town, it was a lot bigger and the houses were much better build than in the village, the streets were full of people and everyone was looking at the luxurious Carriage passing through the streets. Truth was that not even the most wealthy people would spend their money to rent such a luxurious carriage and seeing as it passed the street, most of the people thought that it was some sort of event, after all random events were quite often to encounter in Allastar, but the only thing they understood after seeing the name tags of the people inside the carriage was that some extremely rich people came for tourism birthing a wave of disdain and hatred, out the envy they felt in their hearts.
After all both in the noob village and the town there were mostly low level players and poor players who couldn't live in the cities farther up the great mountains.
On the other hand after they left the town Red begun nugging because the the road up the mountain were loopy and treacherous, they even had to stop from time to time because of monster attacks.
If you think that they went clean from the attack, you are in for a surprise, the large snake that attacked them ate a whole horse and left probably to digest it and the next attack forced them to continue on foot, since their last remaining horse was killed as well.
The monsters up the mountain were really more than they could chew, their levels were probably quite high but they were only a few days away from the city, so with great trouble they climbed up the mountain always following the road of course.
The reason for that was because there were even more monsters in the areas surrounding the roads.
They probably didn't know but normally there were two ways to arrive at the Imperial city, one was through the mage guild and the other if you hire mercenaries for protection, in trouth there were many people in the town below who took money to escort people to the Imperial city and returned to the town when they were out of gold again.
Now four people were walking their way to the Imperial city, there was no one else going up the mountain road after all there was also a mage guild in the town so if you had money for teleportation or was a mage you had a good chance to instantly go to the Imperial city.
After all teleporting though the mage guild was a privilage of mages, only a mage and his party were allowed to teleport from one mage guild to another.
Of course corruption was everywhere and with a small bribe there were many people other than mages using the mage guild's teleporters.
In truth it wasn't mostly the Npcs who were corrupted but players who were assigned to those mage guilds, they didn't really care about the mage guild's rules and did whatever they liked, some even gave free teleportation to everyone becoming the most popular people of that town or city, until of course their teleporter broke down and they had no way of repairing it because it actually cost gold to repair.
Back to Max and the girls, as I told before they were going up the mountain road, a road wide enough for at least three carriages to pass, it was rather good that it was so wide but why were there so many strong monsters around.
Every time they had to run away from the pursuing monsters and only because of Galie's and Lidie's teleportation abilities could they escape safely.
Their happy go lucky attitude stroll had turned into a nightmarish survival game.
"How many monsters can this mountain have!"
Red shouted horrified while they were running from a strange spider monster, it was a large spider that shot eggs that spawned smaller but still large spiders. In truth the whole mountain was designed as a training ground for high level players and the Imperial city was made for them to enjoy, since the monsters at the village and town were weak and didn't offer them much experience and challenge.
"shut up and run!"
Lidie said as she also run, their teleportation skills weren't bad but with so many monsters around even if they teleported away there were still some spiders.
"Die, Die"
Shouted Galie who was shooting fireballs from a distance, after all she could teleport away but teleporting all of them the same distance inside the game was somewhat problematic.
For some reason the moment they arrived to this island their psychic powers had become somewhat weaker than normal, at first they hadn't understood it but the higher they moved up this mountain the weaker they became.
The strangest stuff however was that the monsters were only getting stronger, the spider they were running from was level 400+, they had no way to even take a tiny piece off it's health points.
even the smaller spiders were rather hard to kill for them, Galie whas endlessly shooting fireballs to clean a path for the rest to run away.
The fireballs did little damage but they had a knockback effect that helped her open the way for them.
In truth this mountain was one of the few places where psychic powers were suppressed, just like the Hero academy in Anchora.
In truth there was another Hero academy in the Imperial city but it was in the form of a strange Pagoda that reached high into the sky.
As they were running they could with difficulty see the strange thin line that cut the horizon in two.
Of course they didn't know yet what it was but the road was heading strait towards it.
Only when they saw the large walls of the Imperial city, did their understand that they had finaly reached their destination.
