Waking up from my nap I stretched, yawned, did all the other embarrasing stuff that people do when they wake up and my sleepy eyes drifted over and see four goldfishes starting at me
"......" I stared
"......." the four goldfishes stare back.
"What are you guys still doing here?, Didn't I give you a task to complete?" I asked them
"Good morning sunshine, so bright and chirpy you are, HOW WAS THE 500 YEAR NAP YOU TOOK" Renny exploaded.
"This is not freedom, let me out of here" Akashakan wailed.
"I sort of like this new body, I get to do nothing" Baba said.
"Watching you sleep was interesting.... you spent so many years with your butt in the air" Cortesa smiled.
"I ask again, what are you guys still doing here" I asked.
The only god to speak up was Cortesa " You sealed our divine powers when we got here, right now we are just goldfish, we don't even have permission to leave" Cortesa explained with a bored tone.
"Whoops, Tehee" I just giggled at the thought,and with a wave of my hand they were sent back to their domains.
for a change, nothing much has happened on any of the planets.
Because of this I decided to hire some new gods.
"World Builder, find some suitable people who can be gods" I asked and the computer zoomed across all the planets.
Multiple people flashed onto the screen one, by one the screens freezes on selected individuals.
List of them:
1. Shadow Whisperer: Nightmare Shadow: Capabilites, God of the Shadows/Abductions
2. Whispers: Fallen Angel: Capabilties: God of Insanity,
3. Lily: Dryad: Goddess of the Plants,
4. Nasderia: Poison Octopus: Goddess of Poisons and Storms.

I reviewed the list and selected three per element.

Renny the Fire Nymph is the goddess of Fire (Liveliness), Parties, and Fertility.
She domineers over a council of three fire gods/goddesses.
1. Vulca, Human, Goddess of Fire (Creativity), and Blacksmithing,
2. Kindeo: the Drakon (Advance version of Drakemen), God of Fire (Destruction), and War.
3. Ixp, the Fire Slime, God of Fire (Inspiration) .
This council resides in the planet Nekindoar, deep inside a volcano where mortals can't reach them.
They set it up so that they must have 3 votes to pass a decision.
Akshakan the Aerolite Garuda is the God of the Void, Wind(Clarity), Freedom
He domineers over a council of three as well.
1. Jia Dashon the Cloud Shifter, God of Wind (Change), Growth and Achievement.
2. Arielle Hawkins: Wind Disciple: Goddess of the Winds (Knowledge and Intellect), and Magic
3. Ariola Lemur. Goddess of the Wind (Frenzy), and Rage.
A unanimous vote must be accomplished for a decision to go through.
Baba the 2-headed Hydra is the God of (Earth and Water), (Death/Life) and servitude
He is a council of one, but his many heads are considered a seat, 3/5ths of the heads must agree or else the decision is null.
He gains heads by spending divine points. With each head comes a new title/responsibility.
Though he has a few minor gods/goddesses that can make suggestions as well.
Hannah Cortesa: Goddess of the Hunt, Harvest and Mines.
She rules a council of many.
a few of them are:
Angel species, God of Light, and Purity.
Candle Wisps species: Gods/Goddesses of Fate and Destiny.
Nightmare Shadows species: God of the Shadows and Abduction.
Guardian Obelisk species (God of Protection and Safety)
Poison Octopus Species: Goddess of Poisons and Water (Storms)
and many many more.

"Alright, summon the council"
In a room where I sat on a throne, and everyone around me were goldfishes.

Many voices of complaint but I started to get things in motion.
"Alright, the time is now, to start the evolution of yoru species to defeat the Four Beasts of Calamity, by the way nice job Poison Octopus Species for slowly taking down the Leviathon" I announced.
The goldfish that represented the octopus species just let out a bubble or two. I take it as a thanks and move on.
"Alright, four lucky species today will be getting an evolution that will give them a better chance of destroying, or at the very least sealing these four beasts. , Councils decide now." I shouted and a huge mob of voices broke out.
Many fights even broke out, if you call goldfishes headbutting each other fighting.
I just popped out some popcorn and watched the mayhem.

From there on, it's an all out adventure for four of them as they ventured across all of Erde; a world of wondrous magic, mystical beings, legendary warriors, kings of great and terrible, mighty dragons of all shapes and sizes and other stuff you would expect coming from a fantasy world archetype.

Alone in a vast expanse of knowledge and void of any previous memory what else was I to do but learn? The world above awaited me, but down here it was all I could do to read about it, prepare for it. How long would it take for me to see my first of the Learned Races, or encounter my first monster? To simply see a [City Guard] or a [Warrior] maybe even a [Mage], even then I'd be sated no matter how basic the Class. I wanted to witness what I read about, the fantastical [Secret Stache] of a [Treasure Hunter] or a [Pickpocket] using [Deft Hands]. These were natural occurrences above, but alas, I was below. And this deep down, I'd see my first horror before seeing any mere monster. My escape were the books but soon I'd turn that knowledge into a real escape, I'd emerge from this dear library and claw my way above. But I'd need to prepare myself, I just didn't know how yet. So back to my books.

The magician reincarnates, awakening as a citizen of the empire which conquered his home! Author's Note #3: Okay, that's the end for me. This is too boring for me to continue writing, and I've gotten back to writing Reborn as a Dungeon Core in an Apocalyptic World. At 26,772 words, this has gotten too boring for me to continue. I'm probably going to take this basic story and rewrite it into something way better w/ longer chapters, but at least I had fun for the six days it took to write this much. Except for some earth mages.- realistic depictions of violence. I don't care to focus on it. - other races introduced eventually, if they fit. - Australian english, except when I slip. Not much slang though, I reckon.
