Oh yea for those of you that think Lizzy follows the same principle of the animal kingdom where you have to become strong to get a mate that does not apply to her as she is more rational. Well let's just say her personality is more rational than a normal animal but not all of her instincts as an animal is gone...

Suno's PoV

Everything I have is planned out with how I'm going to find the information and what I'm going to do after finding out. I didn't plan out my thoughts earlier at first causing me to be panic a little but now that I had time to think. With my head clear as the sky I continue to move through the forest in a dash to get to the main road that connect to the city from the academy.

When I reached the main road which lead to 2 roads that are on opposite side on each. One leading to the city and another one going out to a village that is quite far away. It was decided I go out into the city since that is where the hub of info flows out which are mostly important cities and anything like a capital of a major nation usually have seen this sort of things. That would also mean I will be in danger of attacked more so than anywhere else since that is probably the branch headquarters as it would be in any capital city.

While I traverse the ground to get to my location a group of bandits was attacking a caravan that was passing by. How cliché I thought in my head just like the stories that I read in my book. Why do they keeping getting attacked by bandits? Whatever let's save them and maybe they have any information that could be shared with me. First I need a mask to hide my face from anyone that might recognized me later. So, I put on a mask with 2 slits across the eyes and a frown on the mouth part for added effect.

The caravan had 20 guards protecting it and they were losing as they are out numbered by at least 3 times there forces. Why are they out numbered as well? Are they trying to make a main character in a story or something like that? The guards were being slaughtered as they were absolutely out numbered by the masses of bandits who numbers are down to about 20. That was when the guards started surrendering and the bandits were bringing out girls to probably rape them. I sigh as I looked at the surrendering guards and made my decision to enter the fray and fight them.

I was about to join the fight but was stopped when the spell [Water blade] had sliced through a bandits causing the others to be confused on what is going. While another one was slashed in half by a 2 handed sword with the wielder being that of a black hair boy who had brown eyes and the normal leather armor plating. The person who I was looking for was the magic caster that shot the spell. My eyes had moved across the battlefield trying to find the mana that leads to the caster. The girl had purple hair and slightly grassy green colored eyes that looked upon in the back of the swordsman.

"What a waste of mana."-Suno

I said to myself while I look at the purple haired girl and the swordsman battling it out with the bandits. I said it because she put extra mana into killing a person with [Water blade] which wasn't needed at least for the bandit. If I were her than I would focused on keeping my mana at minimum by either chopping off one of there limbs and have the swordsman finish them off. Maybe she doesn't have a good mana control for her magic so there is that as well.

They were probably near High-Experts and the bandits were almost all Beginners with some Intermediate here and there. As they were about to finished fighting and tying the survives in ropes I walked over clapping my hands while looking over at them. They still seem a little cautious about me and had their guard up around me.

"That was quite the nice fight but can you fight me I wonder?"-Suno

I wanted to test them as my insight in how a person fight can go so far but without actually testing it myself will only make it an estimation of their capacity. And I want to get some some stress off my back while doing so by fighting. I get into my position and watch them with hawking eyes.

Amethyst PoV

Me and Riko had finally decided to leave the village and go into the city which we never visited before. We had grown stronger through our training in the plains and thought maybe it's time to go into the city and to enter the Adventures guild. I looked at Riko who was a young boy about my age which is 14 as he had some long hair and black eyes as well as brown eyes he was somewhat handsome and gave off the aura of a mature person.

We traveled by foot to our destination and gotten on to the main road that leads to the capital. We talked about trivial things like life at the village our childhood memories and all kinds of stuff. We heard the sound of screaming and quickly rushed ahead of ourselves to investigate what the occurred it. What we saw was a caravan with guards being surrounded by bandits and surrendering or being killed. We had jumped in the fray with me firing my water magic at them.

Riko jumped in and killed a bandit with his just in time to blocked another one and knocked them off their feet to strike than. I supported Riko when he was either going to be attacked and killed the bandits that approached me from the front. The rest of them surrendering after we killed a certain number of them.

"Is that all of them Riko?"-Amethyst

I asked him to make sure we aren't missing any at all.

"Yea that should be all of them Amethyst."-Riko

I sigh a relief to that we were at least able to work out this problem but a person appeared in front of us wearing a slit mask with a frown on it with a black suite. Me and Riko go back to our defensive stance getting ready to fight this mysterious guy who might be aligned with the bandits. He clapped while walking slowly towards our position and looking over us.

"That was quite the nice fight but can you fight with me I wonder?"-???

We looked at him and knew that he was obviously challenging us but I don't know if he is actually with these guys. The masked figure looked at us like telling us to make the first move and we took the initiative as he was about to kill us or so we thought. Riko had ran up to him with his sword and did a side ways slashed but was blocked by his hands. What!?! He blocked a metal sword with his hands? What is his hands made out of?

These questions pop up as I see the masked person used his other hand to try and hit Riko in the back but I used my magic [Water Blade] and try to hit him with it. My [Water blade] was blocked by his other hand that was going for Riko and made me think what should we do. Riko is having trouble trying to fight against his one right hand and if I fire another spell he would easily block it with his left hand this isn't going well. I tried to find weakness in his defense but he isn't showing any at all and the ones that he is showing might be baits. What is this guys level? He must be in master level and if we don't do anything we will die.

Maybe if I get him to blocked one of Riko attack and I cast a large spell than it might work. But it would put Riko in danger as well is there no other choice I have? With my fate resolve I gathered all the mana that was in my body and used it to form a [Ice Spear] an move that I only used when facing super difficult opponents. This was the time I strike while the fire is hot. I threw it directly at the masked figure face preparing to hit him.

"Riko get down!"-Amethyst

Riko got on to the dirt ground and nearly dodging death as the spear pass by. When I thought that was victory was assured he used a intense fire spell. He used magma magic one of the most powerful and rare kind of magic around. As he said out the chants of the name of the spell he just used.

"[Magma eruption]"-???

A large pillar of magma burst through the ground and stop my spear in its tracts as I fell down on my knee giving up hope on beating this monster of a fighter I ever seen. What should we do? We are exhausted from fighting the bandits and my magic exhaustion is catching on me. If I knew that today was going to be like this I would have not gone in the first place. I look at Riko who was off the ground and gritting his teeth against this man as he was breathing heavily from the constant clashes he had against the masked man. Riko looked back at me and said.

"RUN AWAY!"-Riko

Riko screamed it out loud but I couldn't even move from my spot since mana exhaustion is catching up with me and I don't want to abandon my childhood friend who sticked with me the entire way.

"NO! I'm going to stay here and help you to the bitter end!"-Amethyst

I screamed back at him who had the eyes of frustration but continued fighting. He was just about his limit but the symbols on his sword started to glow and it turned the entire sword covered in light. What is going on?!? He never told me anything about it at all not even once. I looked at it with interest as it made him stand up yet again even though he was on the floor a minute ago. The masked figured looked a little bit surprised by the sudden sword. The sword glowed and with all Riko might swung he sword down with enough force to break through a whole building. And the sword had cut the masked figured arm and blood started coming out of the place which was his arm and the body came tumbling down.

I thought it was all over as I got up with the little strength I had and walked toward Riko who sword went back to normal. I picked up Riko and the sword to bring it back to the caravan. But something made my spine shake as I felt the area turn cold and spun my body around to see the masked man with his fully attached body this time with killing intent sipping out of his body.

I was shocked as it was almost like all time stopped right there as the masked man walked towards us with killing intent freezing me into position. My body shook with the unconscious Riko on my shoulder as I faced death with my resolve to die. I closed my eyes waiting for me to appear at heaven footstep but nothing came. When I opened my eyes I see the mask man looking at me while patting my head who I was only to his shoulders.
