A new teacher
The carriage was leaving from the entrance of the Yi clan, inside Jin and his grandfather sat in silence. Jin was thinking about the spar he had with the second prince, and how he had been wounded. I don’t have enough experience i should have seen it comming not everyone fights fair. Jin shook his head
Grandpa Yi who had been watching Jin the whole ride, saw Jin shaking his head and asked him in a caring tone “ whats wrong?“
Jin looked up to see his grandfather smiling and answered “Ahh, nothing really i am just angry at myself for getting hurt, i was to focused on father to notice the pepple someone threw in my face.“
“I understand, but you can think of it as experience gained. From now on, even if you are in a one on one duel, always be aware of your surrondings.“ Grandpa Yi said, making it a teachable moment.
Jin looked at his grandfather with determination and answered “I will“
Jin continued to look at his grandfather and asked. “ I was also wondering who is this friend of yours that will be my teacher?“
“Wait and see“ Grandpa Yi answered.
Jin continued to ask, and question who his first real teacher would be, but his grandfather continued to answer. “Wait and see.“
“Is it a man or a woman.“ Jin asked
“Wait and see“ Grandpa Yi replied
“Is she young or old“ Jin asked
“Wait and see“ Grandpa Yi replied
“So it is a woman then, what rank ?“ Jin said with a cunning smile looking at his grandfather.
“You little rascal, tricked me didn’t you“ Grandpa Yi said before starting to laugh.
Jin just smiled, he had missed spending time with his grandfather, seeing him smile and laugh. He enjoyed every minut he spent with grandpa Yi, but knew they soon would part. He had managed to convince himself it was neccesary, both so he could get stronger and because everyone thought he was dead and there was no place for him at the Yi clan.

After Jin managed to trick his grandfather into revealing it was a woman, grandpa Yi decided to tell him something.
“Ok i will tell you about your new teacher.“ Grandpa Yi said helplessly looking like a defeated old man.
“Lets see i met her many years ago when i was out traveling, she was attacked by some bandits and i saved her life so she now owes me. At first i wanted her to teach you magic, but she refused and said she would only train a warrior. Oh i forgot, she is a warrior, but well versed in magic and medicine“
“Why didn't she want to teach me magic“ Jin asked with a big question mark across his face.
“I really don’t know, im sure you’ll find out eventually. Even if she wont teach you magic, You can sneak a peek in her books. Nobody says you can’t read up on it yourself.“ Grandpa Yi answered
Jin looked at his grandfather, nodded and said “ok“
Jin continued to ask about the woman to become his new teacher. “ Grandpa Yi whats her name and is she pretty?“
Grandpa Yi stopped the carriage opened the door and walked outside to spit on the ground *ptui* then he stomped on his spit tree times and said “Her name is old hag and you wonder if she is pretty she was and old hag when i saved her and she is an older hag now“
Jin was first shocked by his grandfather, but then Jin started to laugh. Grandpa Yi jumped in the carriage sat down and looked a little embarrassed.
Grandpa Yi hit the roof two times and the carriage started to move again.
After a while of silence Jin looked at his grandfather and was just about to ask him something when the carriage stopped, and the coachman yelled “we are here“
The carriage had stopped at the city gates, when Jin stepped out of the carriage he asked his grandfather why they had stopped at the city gates, grandpa Yi explained he didn’t want anyone to know where they were going and who they met with.

They walked through the streets of the imperial city looking at the different stands of clothes, weapons, jewellery and everyday items such as mirrors and makeup. Grandpa Yi showed him the adventurers guild, merchant guild, craftmans guild and a place called the tower, the tower was a place full of elite assasins that took any job if the pay was good enough.
They countined to walk through the streets, when Jin stopped, looked towards a stand that sold jewellery walked over and picked up a beatiful hairpin formed like a phoenix, carved out of green jade. When Jin saw the green jade hairpin, Jin immediately thought of his mother, he didn’t know why, he just did. Jin asked the woman who was currently talking with another customer, if he could by the hairpin with gold as he had alot of it, but no currency.
The woman was suprised as it was unusal for a boy walking around with gold and not currency, but she quickly answered him. “Yes it is possible, can you show me the gold you have?“ Jin flicked is wrist and a chunk of gold appeared in his hand the size of a babys fist.
The woman said with a suprised tone as she was a little shocked that such a young child had a spatialring. “Half is enough for the harpin“
Jin thought about it for a moment, but didnt want to use his black wind or magic to cut it. That would only draw more attention to him then he already had, so he gave the woman the whole chunk took the hairpin and walked back to his grandfather.
Everyone around the marketplace that was looking at Jin with not so good intentions, quickly changed their mind when they saw who Jin was walking beside.
Grandpa Yi looked at Jin and said in a stern voice “Jin when you are alone you shouldn’t flash around that spatial ring, it is not something common and it attracts the wrong kind of people.“
“I understand, i will keep it in mind for the future“ Jin said in an apologetic tone
Grandpa Yi laughed and said “Good, its good you understand. By the way the hairpin you bought is it for your mother, or did you find a girl in the cave?.“ Then he started laughing again.
Jin looked at his grandfather with a sour look and `replied “Of course it is for mother, when i saw it i felt it was made for her, should we go buy another one so you can give it to my new teacher?.“
Grandpa Yi stopped and screamed “Ah you little rascal, you don’t know whats good for you“ They countinud to walk and joke with each other and every now and then you could see grandpa Yi stop, spit on the ground, then he would stomp on the ground tree times.
They soon arrived at a resturant, walked inside sat down at a table and ordered some dishes and some wine.
While waiting for the food to arrive Jin gave his grandfather the silver ring and said “Grandpa Yi, this is the ring that belonged to Yi Wei Bo. I left most of the weapons, gold and silver. It also contains a big chunk of black ore, enough for two swords and then some. Could you maybe make me a new sword the same as yours?“
Grandpa Yi took the ring and bound it in blood, then he looked inside the ring. You could see he was suprised, but also very happy, he answered Jin with a smile and a warm tone “Of course i can, when my friend arrives in the city again i will have him make you one.“
As the dishes was served and they started eating, a mature woman with pretty facial features, wearing a light green dress with waist lenght black hair, holding a hidden sword in her right hand, walked towards them and said in a lovely voice “Old man is this the boy?“
