Walking towards the big chest at the middle of the room, I took the MPD out, and checked the chest.

There wasn’t any traps on it, thankfully. With Kasumi and Amara on my shoulders, we checked the chest’s contents, and boy, I was super happy with the result.

Inside the chest, were the Drake’s scales, broke down to small parts, the claws, some of the bones, a pack of blood vials(the fat one, not the thin one), about 25 of them. The skin, which was below the scales, the core, which revealed to be an Earth core, and the Dragon’s Core.

The Earth Core and the Dragon’s Core, were two different things. Actually, I called Dragon’s Core, but the name was Drake’s Core. So, it has different tiers, too? The Drake’s Core, is used for a few things, by what the MPD informed me.

“Interesting. It can be used to make a weapons, to make a barrier, and to make potions?”

The potions were all super High Grade ones. They could give super strong effects. Amplify your STR, CON and DEX for a few seconds, or even amplify your Magic power, MP regen, and so on. The effects depended on the way you handle it the core.

Meaning, that this Drake’s Core, can be sold at a really high price.

“Okay. Let’s see here.”

Looking through the requirements now, there was only 2 cores left to evolve Technomagic. This is getting very nice~. If I ignore the symbiotic core. What a pain. Then, I glanced into the STATUS of us three.

“Master. There is another room more ahead.”

“There is?”

“Yes. Look.”

With Amara mentioning, and looking to where she pointed, there was a small door to my right. The door wasn’t as big as the one we entered from, but it had different decorations.

“We will look at it soon. Let’s look through our STATUS first.”

She had now 4 tails. So, the Vulpes Class is a racial one. It counts her tails too. That was something interesting to discover. So what comes after Vulpes? I was curious, but I could only wait for what it happens.

She jumped off my shoulder, and started jumping around. Surprisingly, her STATUS didn’t go up by a lot, but some of her skills did go up. Why Charm is so high, though? With Kasumi jumping with happiness, I took a look at mine.

“Not that much, but I think it’s fair enough. Hm? What the…?”

My confusion was visibly o my face. The reason, was because there was another window, right below my STATUS. It displayed Classes, Skills and Titles on it.

“Restricted STATUS?”

Tapping on the section that appeared right below, it displayed what it really was.

“This is surprising. Not that I can do something about it anyway.”

Was I disinterested? No, by the contrary. I was very curious about it. But since I couldn’t acquired them, it was useless to think on it otherwise. Also, now that I think about it, why Amara’s LVL cap is so low? While Kasumi is super High.

After shrugging those thoughts off, we proceeded towards the next room.

The room wasn’t that big. It was a rectangle, with a long corridor, and probably 10 meters in height and wide. There were pillars until I reached the end of the corridor. They looked like Greek Pillars, except being gray instead of white.

There was stairs to a small elevation, and on it, had a wide treasure chest. There’s a staff inside, I’m sure. After the treasure chest, was a Magic Circle.

Opening the chest, revealed a staff. Not a normal staff, with a crystal on top of it, though. It had a rod made out of Mythril, with 3 rings on the top. The point is, it also had 6 other rings in between the main 3. This was of course…

“A Khakkara. Nostalgic, huh?”

The rod and the 3 main rings, were made out of Mythril, probably for easy to make it easy to handle. As for the other 6 small rings… that was the surprising part. They were made out of Magic Alloy.

Magic Alloy, is a simple alloy, made out of a metal with high mana conductivity, imbued with an elemental core. Analyzing more, the metal was Mythril. As for the cores on the other 6 rings?

“Fire. Water. Wind. Earth. Lightning. And Ice. And all of them are… you’re joking right? Hahaha! They’re all SSS-Rank!”

Yes. All of the Cores used were of super powerful monsters. Leviathan Dragon for Water… Behemoth Tauros for Earth…

“The Seraphim Eagle?!”

Seraphim Eagle. Also the actual owner of the Pride Sin. So it has more than one? The Seraphim Eagle was the Wind Core. The Fire Core, was… A Phoenix. Lightning was a Tempest Hawk. And Ice… was an Ice Dragon.

“This is insane. This would fetch quite the price, not gonna lie. But… Why this is it here? There was some adventurers who reached this floor already. Does the Reward changes from person to person?”

Digi-Scanning the staff, I checked for other things on the chest. The more noteworthy thing on the chest, were 5 Big chunks of Mondálium ore. There was also some gems inside.

The size of the chunks though, were the same as a medium package box. THIS! IS! THE BEST! I’LL BE ABLE TO MAKE AWESOME THINGS WITH THIS!

I was so thrilled, that I couldn’t hold my ideas in mind. The only thing I wanted to do, was to get the hell out of this labyrinth, and make something really nice. What, you might ask? Of course, it was a vehicle.

Back at Caerleon, I used that time to check more OF the city. Especially the food of course. There is no good trip, without trying the local food. The main food on Caerleon, was serpent meat. Not the Mythril Snake, but some of the serpents on the forest.

It had the Green Serpent, Striped Serpent, and the most eaten on the city… Spicy Serpent.

The Spicy Serpent, is basically a Naja cobra, and its venom is used on the preparation of the sauce accompanying it. The 3 were super good. By the way, the Spicy Serpent was only allowed to be prepared by the Chef’s Guild. It is basically like the puffer fish. It is dangerous to prepare, so it is a reasonable approach.

The meat was tender, and rare. The interesting part about the Spicy Serpent, is that the Sauce fries the meat, so it doesn’t need any oil or even a grill to make it. IT! IS! SO! GOOD!

After eating a good lunch, we searched for dessert. Oh, and only Kasumi could eat the Spicy Serpent’s meat, Amara fainted only sniffing the Sauce.

The dessert of the city though, was a strange ice cream. Yeah, you read that right. Ice Cream. We were at a hot area of the Empire, so it was really nice having Ice cream around. Oh, and the miners loved too, it was the favorite for them.

The Ice cream that I chose, was from a berry like fruit. It was purple in color, but small, reminding me of an Acerola Fruit. It had a sweet taste, but with a very strong flavor on the very end. Hmmm… So good~ It’s appearance reminds me of blueberry.

Amara asked for a cherry flavor, and Kasumi asked for an… Spicy one? What the shock? After that, we ate more food around, specially from the stalls. The Serpent meat was best fried, with some ketchup and mayo like sauces. It isn’t exactly the same flavor, but it does have some unique flavor to it. Kinda reminds me of french fries.

With that, we got to wait for another day, and I was making my new weapon.

The night before we leave, I made my new weapon. It wasn’t a pistol, but a shotgun. With the classes I couldn’t acquire yet, there was Gunslinger and Sharpshooter. Don’t know what each of them would do, but they might help with this.

I could analyze them, and discover what each do, of course. But hey! What’s the thrill on doing so? I want to let the surprise happens.

“Alrighty. Let’s do this.”

Cracking my fingers and neck, I moved the things to make the job done.

Taking an ingot of Adamantite, and some charcoal, I remade the Adamantite alloy, and reshaped into the frame of the firearm.

The shotgun was basically of a semi automatic design. I wanted to make a sawed off style, but I don’t think I would be able to hold the shotgun without letting it go off my hand. Not with the power behind the Mana Infused Powder.

It wouldn’t be of lever, nor pump action though. It was a little bit different. In the place of the pump, it would be a rotary cylinder. With 3 tubes, loading 5 shells in each. I wasn’t able to make a bigger ‘Magazine’

If it wasn’t by the shells it would fit in, this thing would look like an assault rifle. I mean, basing it at the TAVOR TS12 was the best I could do.

As for the shells, though, that was a bit of a problem for me. I wanted to use metal, but I had another thing to use with it. The bones of the Drake.

You see, the bones weren’t as tough as the Adamantite alloy I’ve made, but they were strong enough to be like metal. I might have people criticize me about it, but… meh.

The shells were 12 Gauge of course, and since I didn’t want to use all of the bones, I also made some out of some steel I had in my Digi-Storage. I made some buckshot, and shrapnel.

“If I’m not mistaken, there was a shell called… what was it again? Dragon’s Breath round? Yeah. They are that of fire right?”

Looking through my storage, I didn’t had any magnesium to use, unfortunately. By the way, I couldn’t access my [Other World Archive] Skill completely yet. Just a small part of it. Probably because the MPD isn’t that good yet.

Since I didn’t have the Magnesium, nor any Fire core in hands, I simply shrugged the idea. Finishing off, I just needed to name this thing.

“Hmmm… how about… Gemetzel?”

Again, with some light, this time red, the shotgun shone. It absorbed once again some of the leftovers materials around of it, and then it stopped with the red light. Oh, cool paint.

The shotgun, had a red splash of red paint on the two sides. Well, probably because Gemetzel means Carnage, but who cares! It also had a small spot on it, around 7 centimeters wide?

“Let me see.”

► Flaming Shotgun Gemetzel ◄

A weapon capable of shredding a Drake to bits.

The Gemetzel is a shotgun, based on a TAVOR TS12 shotgun from another world. With its magical enhancements, it is capable of shredding a Drake’s scales without much difficult.

It isn’t as powerful as Raijin, nor precise as Satz, but it can cause lots of damage if shot up close.

The special effect of it, is that it can house a Fire Core/Crystal to power up the shells, giving it a Dragon’s Breath type of effect.

This is not a Relic, nor an Artifact, but a mix from the two. A Relifact. It can only be used by its Creator, Kenji.

“Am I good, or am I good?” I got very proud of it, even if I just copied someone. “Well, this function of putting a core or crystal on it, is sure to be of use. So, it isn’t as powerful like Raijin, nor precise as Satz. Meh, it’ll be useful.”

With that, I awaited for the sun to arise, spending my time making more bullets for Satz, and some modifications to my gauntlets.

I made them out of the Adamantite alloy, and remade the blades. Hihi’irokane was much easier to find here. And with high purity too!

Back into the Imperial Capital, the place was in a bit of a turmoil. It has been almost a month since Kenji has left, and the Capital was suffering from several attacks from Vampires and Demons alike. All of them, with lots of victims, specially adventurers.

Their objective wasn’t even debated by the knights. Since in the past, every time they attacked, they simply were into a killing spree, not caring for objectives at the slightest. Only to kill as their objective.

But then, the Vampires and Demons started to have different approach. They targeted more influential people, such as merchants, some of the most strong knights, and even the nobles on the capital.

That was sure to let people desperate with the situation, and some merchants started to hire the high-ranked adventurers without much of a thought. Alas, that only served as snacks for the enemy.

With the situation reaching a point where merchants might never set foot on the capital, since they would be targeted, the Emperor deployed his ‘Heroes’, as a countermeasure.

“No… Why? Why did this happened?”

The strong survived. But the weak? They all but perished.

The classroom summoned had at least 30 students. 8 of them, were strong enough to fend for themselves, without much of a trouble. Their sensei, Yumi, too, had not qualms by fighting for herself. And Kenji was at the port town at the time.

But of course, not everyone was that strong. Out of the remaining 20 students, two traveled to League of Magic, because they received a letter of recommendation from the Noblewoman of the capital. They arrived 1 week prior to Kenji traveling to south.

As for the other 18… 11 of them died trying to fight the enemy. And the other 7 were transformed into Former-Humans, now into the command of a Pure Vampire.

With a skirmish that dragged through a month, the Empire was starting to set their hopes up, since the blood moon would come to an end. That made the Pure Vampire change his plans, hastening his search for the Bride for his master.

According to her fellow Gorgon Clairvoyant companion, the bride was a woman from another world. She didn’t gave him any more hints to who it was, simply saying: “You’ll understand when you saw her.”

As he searched through the remaining women of the other world still alive, he finally found the right person. So, it is her? Hmmm… Why my lord has some kind of fetish for small women?

Yes. The woman in question, was Matsumoto Yumi.

“Well, well, well… Looks like we reached a stalemate.”

In the courtyard of the castle, on one of the training grounds, the Pure Vampire was watching with disinterest his opponents fighting their former companions. Some had an unsure expression, not capable of hurting them, others… Didn’t even gave thought.

“Tch! Never liked you! So die!”

“Haha! This is amazing! I have power now, dumbass!”

The Pure Vampire was watching not only them fighting, but also the other two men, glaring at him. Ayduin, the Tempest Elf. And The Sword of War. His eyes were full of killing Intent, specially towards Ayduin.

“Gaaaah!”

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

The Pure Vampire was brought out of his thoughts, when he saw a woman, wearing priestess garments, crying while using a Holy attribute spell on some of its former companions. Hmmm… She too, has the a different air about. No problem, then. I’ll take her with me, and ask if I can make her my bride.

A few more minutes later, the ‘Heroes’, have finally defeated, and killed, albeit the last part a bit hesitant, their former comrades. After that, the woman the Pure Vampire was waiting for appeared.

“What happened? Where are they?!”

She was holding her tears, frustration clearly visible in her expression. Yumi couldn’t believe, that her beloved students were either dead, desecrated into mere zombies, or transformed into Vampires.

“You finally showed up.”

Since she was lost in thought, Yumi didn’t noticed the Vampire appearing and knocking her out. He also knocked one of the ‘Heroes’ too.

“Naomi!”

The one who shouted her friend’s name, was none other than Suzuki Mari. She noticed the Vampire a bit too late to stop him, but enough for her to act and try to slay the man who tried to take her friend.

Some of the others also tried as well, but to no avail. With a simple glance of the Pure Vampire, they froze in place, and were all blasted away, towards the wall.

With the ‘Heroes’ out of action, both Ayduin, and the Colonel acted. More fast than what the eye could see, the Colonel rushed, and swung his blade towards the neck of the Vampire.

Squinting his eyes, the Vampire first dealt with Ayduin’s magic, using a shadow to interfere with the flow of mana, nullifying it without much of a trouble. As for the Colonel, the Vampire simply jumped, using the colonel as stepping stone, and jumped to the roof of a building.

“Hmm… It is not today, Sword of War. Your death will be left to another day too, Ayduin.” his words were condescending. “Now, only the Pure Mana Source remains.”

And with that, his shadow extended into a sphere around him, and soon, he was nowhere to be seen.

“Bastard! Tch! Aid the Heroes immediately! Search for any clue to where that bastard have gone into! Now!”

“Yessir!”

“Ayduin. Did you heard what were his last words?” The colonel asked.

“Pure Mana Source. What might that be?”

“Tch! He captured two of the heroes. We need to find out where he’d go.”

The Capital’s turmoil, ended at that day. There wasn’t any more attacks after that.

Alas, the worries of the citizens didn’t go down. For as the Blood Moon only got even eerier, and now, it was complete night on the world.

KABLAM!

“Wow! Death it is!”

After taking the carriage for the south, to the city of Salis-Side, I started to use Gemetzel. And oh, boy, let me tell ya! This thing is perfect! It easily dispatched any kind of resistant enemy.

Everything was well and good, but on a certain night, when we were camping, the blood moon on the skies started to produce an eerie red light. What is happening? No one traveling with us knew or understand what it was, that is, until the next ‘Day’.

It was still night, to a certain degree. It didn’t looked like it was morning. The Blood Moon was still there, and even when the sun came out, the moon was still on the skies. It didn’t produce any kind of ailment, but it did make things more complicated on the way to the port city.

Monsters were even more powerful than before. It looked like more strong monsters as the Volatilion or even the Terrae Drake would appear. I even leveled up to my level cap of 15 as well, and my Stats suffered quite the boost. 3 Times more than what it was before! Insane!

With more 1 day of travel, we arrived at Salis-Side, finding the city in a state of dread. Looking for information, curious about the situation, I discovered that the city was threatened to be destroyed by a seemingly extinct race.

“What race, exactly?”

“It was written that they all died, approximately, 500 years ago. The race of the Giants.”

“Doesn’t the town has protection against giant things?”

“It does. But the problem is… well, we don’t understand. But the giant has some kind of living armor, protecting him from anything.”

“I see.”

And with that, the staying of me on the port city was getting even more troublesome.
