《Maxing Out From the Start!》Chapter 6 - Destroying Wolves

I continue to sprint in the direction of the presence. They appear at the edge of where I scanned, meaning they were about three kilometers from me. Luckily for me, I tested and adjusted my stats so getting there will be no problem, especially with my speed. Also, using my inhuman senses, I'm more flexible and can detect the best way to get there. After about three minutes of maneuvering around trees, I finally reach the people who seem in danger.
I didn't want to expose myself yet, so I found a suitable tree and stayed behind it while observing the situation more closely. Upon observing, I look at the side of the people's heads and see long pointy ears. Instead of humans, these people are elves... They also seem to be injured from fighting the giant monsters.
The monsters are four five-meter high, white-furred wolves, each with three heads fighting with the elves. Out of the four wolves, one has a darker shade of fur and seems slightly taller. This wolf is in the back, watching over the other wolves. If I had to guess, that wolf is the commander of this pact. Anyway, the other wolves are fighting the elves. It seems two of them are fighting with one elf while the other wolf is solo-attacking the other elf.
Speaking about the elves, one of them is wearing a black cloak while the other is wearing full metal armor. Both of them are wearing masks; however, both their masks and their articles of clothing/armor have been damaged, revealing some of their skins and parts of their faces. The one in the cloak seems to be in dire need. Most of their cloak is ripped off, showing their pale skin and red blood. A lot of their blood is on the ground, too, while more rushing out at a somewhat face pace.
Their mask is halfway broken, revealing half of a beautiful face of a girl who might be in her mid-teens. Her hood also has holes in it, which displays pieces of her brown-red hair. Although I can't see all of it, I can tell that it is long and somewhat glistening. Currently, she is on her knees on the blood-stained ground, breathing heavily. The wolf who is targeting her is slowly approaching her with all of their tongues licking their lips. Along with her hood, her right dark-red eye is revealed with tears rolling her face.
On to the armored elf, their helmet has already been bitten by one of the wolves and is lying on the ground, bent in so many ways. Due to this, their face is revealed, showing a beautiful young lady who might be within their early twenties. She has short, curly light-purple hair and green-colored eyes. Pieces of her armor have been disintegrated, revealing her pale white skin. Also, it seems that a piece of her chest is revealed, showing a large lump. Just by the size of it, I know that she has C or larger breasts... Well, that's doesn't really matter.
Anyway, two wolves are approaching her, both in different directions. One is facing her head-on while the other is sneaking behind her. The one in the front seems slightly damaged with a mark on one of its heads. That said, it isn't deep, so it might as well be non-existent.
The wolves continue to approach her with mocking her by licking their lips, just like the other wolf. Currently, the girl is barely able to stand and is also standing on blood-stained ground. The skin that is revealed has many cuts and is bleeding profusely. That said, she seems in better condition than the other girl. Even though she's bleeding badly, it's not as much as the other one.

Also, her weapon, which was a long sword, is broken in half. She's barely holding the handle while the blade is lying on the ground. Without a weapon anymore, she's just staring down at the wolf, silently cursing at it with an evil glare.
I continue to look on while watching the battle. There is some hesitation since this is my first ever battle with a real monster. Even with all the power I have gotten, there is a piece of me who wants to run away... But that isn't the type of person I want to be! Yeah, I might have run away in my previous life, but I came into this world to repent. For that, I must get rid of this hesitation and charge into battle.
I prepare myself for battle; however, right before I took a step, the girl in armor yells towards me with all of her remaining strength.
"You! G-get away from here immediately! Don't worry... I can handle this... Just run before it's too late!"
Her words surprise me. Even though she is in extreme pain and is about to die, she continues to persevere and help others. That type of person is a truly humble and righteous person. I... I need to take notes! Yes, I need to be humble and help others. In my previous life, I hurt others, so, in this one, I need to help others. Alright, hesitation begone! I will become a hero who helps everyone!
I immediately charge into the battle, running towards the wolf who's facing the cloaked girl. While running, I yell aloud a skill.
"Reconfigure Speed, Agility, and Strength to 25%!!!"
From reading all of those books, my memory has increase tremulously. So has my ability to do simple math. I'm now able to solve math problems in an instant quickly. Using this ability, I quickly calculate different amounts or percentages to see how much strength I'll need to defeat these wolves. Part of me thought that the curve would decrease heavily at this point, so I choose 25%, which is 377,500,001... This is more than 100 times higher than what I had.
After reconfiguring my status, my ran changed instantly. Although my run had me already halfway there within a few seconds, at 25% speed, I instantly close the gap, causing a small crater in the ground where I once was. I wasn't fast enough to cause a sonic boom (11 meters per sec to 68 m / s), but it is fast enough for me to travel within fractions of a second. Since I kicked off the ground at such speed, I created that crater, but that can't be helped...
Anyway, after closing the distance, I'm now inches away from the wolf, staring down at one of its heads. I thrust my right fist at its main body with all of my strength (25%); however, right before my fist landed on its fur, some pressure occurred, creating a large wind storm from the wolf and me. I punch through the wind pressure and continue; however, I find that my fist touched nothing. I looked on to see that both the wolf and the land behind him has vanished—everything in a semi-circle with a distance and diameter of 750 kilometers.
I stare at the destruction before me; however, I quickly get over it and rush to my next target. That said, I didn't need to rush because as soon as I turned around, all of the remaining wolves are looking at the destruction, dumbfounded. Using this to my advantage, I hurried over to the next wolf behind the armored girl.

After reaching it within a second, I grab ahold of its fur and pull it back so I wouldn't cause any damage to the girl. Then, I swing my fist at the wolf, causing the same phenomenon as before. If I did not push him back, I would have killed the other wolves but would have killed the girl too. I head-on. Luckily for me, he's still blinded from the destruction of the other wolves. Actually, maybe he hasn't had time to react? I mean, this is all happening in seconds after all...
Anyway, after going in front of the wolf, I immediately give it a punch which caused both the wolf and the environmental destruction. By this point, there are two semi-circle areas of destruction on both sides of the girls. Sadly, the commanding wolf is in the middle area, which has been left untouched. Still, even as a higher wolf than the others, it does nothing and looks on with frightened faces.
From behind me, the armored girl lets out a single word with her eyes so wide that they could pop out of her socket at any moment.
"Amazing..."
Afterward, she falls headfirst into the ground, bathing in her blood. I take a look at the other girl. She's also lying on the ground but flipped around. Her pale skin seems even paler. Also, she's in a puddle of blood, way more than the armored girl. Sadly, her life is more endangered and might be seconds before her death. Still, I need to eliminate the commanding wolf before I do anything else. Who knows what secret abilities it might have...
With that, I instantly close the distance and stand in front of the wolf. Unlike the others, this wolf makes a reaction and tries to retreat; however, he's moving way too slow. Within milliseconds of its escape, I take one last swing. I could have tried magic or something else, but that might take longer, so I just kept doing what I have been using. Like the others, my fist evaporates both the wolf and the ground, leaving an enormous crater into the ground. Though, the terrain doesn't look much different since everything has already been turned into a crater... I hope no one else was within this forest...
I attempt to shake the thought away, limit my power back to 0.01%, and then rush over to the girls. Sadly, by what I can tell, the cloaked girl is already dead, so I run over to the armored girl. Once over to her, I flip her over and put my hands over her chest.
"Healing!"
The girl starts glowing in pale-green light after I activated the skill. Within seconds, all of the cuts and scars are removed from her skin. Also, the complexion of her skin seems to have returned to normal. Although blood is still all over the ground and on her, I think my skill created blood for her. Maybe since it's at MAXED level? I should clean her too... "Clean!"
The girl is again covered in light, but this time in white light. The grim and blood on her skin evaporates instantly, and her skin sparkles as if it was scrubbed with soap. Then, after the girl is cleaned and fully healed, she slowly opens her eyes and silently bends up while holding her face.
"Oww... W-what happened... ?!"
Her complexion quickly changes as she sees the devastation that became of the land. I can't blame her... The lush green forest, which had thousands of trees, is now a barren wasteland with craters on most sides of the girl. The only remains of it are the land that the girls and I are standing on, though most of the grass is stained red.
I should have healed this land before waking her up... Oops!
Hoping she would be less frightened, I start activating one of my skills. "Repair!"
After activating the skill, the entire land starts to give off a glow. Then, the holes in the ground start filling up with dirt. Once the holes are filled up, the grass starts appearing at random points until every point is grass. Then, trees start randomly appear out of the ground. Well, they are more like saplings since they are tiny than the original trees. Actually, all of them are smaller than me in height. I guess I can't instantly grow trees... At least it spawned saplings, or maybe it took the seeds on the ground and grew them slightly?
Anyway, after repairing everything, I bend down and face the girl while smiling at her, hoping that she wouldn't scream. Thankfully, she didn't; however, her eyes are still filled with terror. I coughed and started the conversation.
"Umm, hello. The monsters are defeated, and I healed you, so you should be alright. Can... you speak?"
She blinks a couple of times before responding; however, after a moment, she regains herself. Then, she instantaneously stands up while bowing to me.
"Ah, yes! Thank y-you for saving us, Savior-sama!"
Her voice is shaking. It's as if she isn't thanking me for saving her but to keep herself alive.
"Hey, I'm not a monster! So you don't need to act as if I'm one..."
"Ack!? Please forgive me, Lordship! I'll..."
She continues as if I'm some God. I shake my head at her and give a depressive sign. I should use less power when I save people...
"Oh, that reminds me, we should go check on your partner."
While trying to calm the girl by repairing the land, I forgot all about the one in the cloak, which isn't good since she was the most damaged by the wolves. Well, I don't think she fought with them directly but somehow got caught in a deadly attack.
Instantly changing moods, the girl turns around and sees her friend. Luckily the ground isn't blood-colored since my repair skill cleaned it up; however, the cloaked girl herself doesn't look in the best shape. Blood remains all over her body, and her complexion is 50 times worst than before.
The girl before me screams while she rushes to her friend's side.
"Sister?!"
She tries many different ways to get her sister's attention; however, it's no use. She's already dead... I didn't save her first because, by the time I won the fight, she had already died. I do have the Revive skill; however, the other girl was also on the verge of death. If both were to die, I wouldn't save both of them since the skill takes most of my intellect. Shit! I need to hurry before the time limit runs out!
I quickly rush over to her. At this time, the armored girl is crying profusely while calling out to her sister. With not much time left, I push her out of the way and move my hand over the body. The armored girl tried to protest, but she shut up instantly with her eyes widen after seeing what I'm doing. Does she know this skill exists, or maybe after seeing my power, she believes I can heal her? Nevertheless, I hurry and cast the skill.
"Revival!"
A yellow-white light envelopes the entire body of the girl while pain enters my head. First, her body healed itself. All of the cuts and scars on her body slowly repair themselves. The complexion of her skin also returns to normal. Blood that was once all over her evaporates into the air. Slowly but surely, her entire body returns to normal. Then, after the light dissipates, the girl opens her eyes and slowly looks around in confusion.
"Where... Huh?!"
As soon as the armored girl sees that her sister is alive, she charges at her with an embrace while crying tears of joy.
"Miyu, you're alive! I can't believe it. It must be a miracle!"
"Junko... What's happening... Light..."
They continue hugging each other for an extended period of time. I stay silent during this time. Although it's heartwarming, I'm having my own troubles. My body is trying to adjust to the loss of intellect. I've lost an extensive amount of intellect due to casting the revival skill. Well, it did say it consumes a billion intellect. I don't think my body was prepared for that, and now I'm going into shock.
Unable to continue standing, I fall onto my knees and start breathing heavily. The girls haven't noticed me yet either. Suddenly, darkness starts filling the outside of my eyes, making everything look darker and darker. The pain within my head increases as the darkness increases. After about a minute, darkness has almost fully taken over my eyes, and my head hurts so much that I want to scream. Still, I withheld from screaming and slammed onto the ground. Unable to resist, I fell under the darkness and blacked out.
Before my consciousness fully closes, I overhear one of the girls shout at me.
"Savior!?"

Magic-Farming
A thought experiment gone out of control, inspired by kosnik4's popular story, Magic-Smithing. What would life be like for someone else who was transported to the world inside Magic-Smithing? Someone who wasn't as prone to encounter incresasingly dangerous people, whose life was a little less chaotic? What if this person was content with a simple life of farming? Tending to the plants, sowing seeds, and reaping a great harvest at the end of the year. Of course, he's also a data scientist, so he can't help but squeeze out the maximum possible efficiency of his time and the potential of his attributes. Who doesn't make excel spreadsheets in their spare time? This is a slightly more "Slice of Life" esque version of kosnik4's story. Hopefully lighthearted, funny, and as enjoyable to read as it is thinking of increasingly ridiculous skill progressions. Thanks to kosnik4 and Magic-Smithing for providing fertile grounds for creativity to thrive. NOTE: THIS IS A FAN FICTION, AND ALL INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS BELONG TO KOSNIK4. I'm a patron of his story, and love reading about what happens next in his story. I've tried my best to be as accurate to his canon science as possible, though it's not 100% feasible. Afterall, the story isn't even done yet! My plan for the releases is to release a single chapter a day until 3/7, and then release 4 chapters a week on M, W, F, & Sat. P.S. If anyone can figure out what the EXACT formula for Level XP is, I'd love to hear it. I'm starting to doubt my math and excel capabilities. I have an equation that is fairly accurate and stays close to his values, but not exactly the same.
