Chapter 13- The monsters of war

Gabriel, Pola, Claire, Claudia, Hawkins, Junevil and the four heroes, was standing on the wall, staring at the horde of demons and a devil on the other side.

Below them were fifty thousand soldiers, per units has one thousand commanders, under it are five hundred commanders and one hundred commanders, they are the soldiers who will protect the border for their family.

“ Gabriel-sama do you want to take command them?” Hawkins

“ Yeah, Gabriel, why don’t you command them” Claudia

“ Well, do I have to go the trouble commanding an army like this?” Gabriel

“ Well, aren’t you a genius, why don’t you show it to us?” Claire

Claire provokes Gabriel, having no choice, but to accept the proposal of Hawkins and Claudia.

Standing at the front, the soldiers looks at him nervously, but in their heart, they respect Gabriel strength.

Gabriel gives them a glance.

“Soldiers!!” Gabriel

The soldiers look at Gabriel amazed on his powerful voice, they became a plant, not moving at all.

“ I repeat Soldiers!!” Gabriel

“ YES SIR!!”

Upon hearing the soldiers' response, Gabriel became delighted, he thought some of them was inexperienced but It can be fix somehow.

“ DO YOU HAVE A FAMILY, LOVER, OR ANYTHING THAT PUSH YOU IN THE WAR!!?” Gabriel

“ YES SIR!!”

“ DO YOU WANT THEM TO LIVE!!?” Gabriel

“YES SIR!!”

“THEN WE HAVE TO PROTECT THIS BOARDER TO PROTECT YOUR LOVED ONE!!” Gabriel

“DO YOU WANT YOUR TO FAMILY TO DIE!!?” Gabriel

“ NO SIR!!”

“THEN SACRIFICE YOUR LIVES TO DEFEND THE BOARDER AND SHOW THOSE TRASH BAG, THAT WE WILL NOT BE FOREVER BE IN OUR SHELTER HIDING, WE WILL KILL THEM!!”

“KILL! KILL! KILL!”

Every soldier started to hit their shield, some of them hit their chest that covered with armor while shouting.

“ IF YOU WANT HONOR, FIRST LIVE AND SHOW THEM YOUR ABILITY THAT WE ARE NOT AN ANT, THEY CAN EASILY TRAMPLE AT” Gabriel

“ KILL! KILL! KILL!”

“ DON’T RUN SOLDIERS WE ARE WARRIOR THAT SURVIVE MANY WARS, DO YOU WANT OUR PRIDE TO BE LOST JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR NUMBERS? SHOW THEM THAT HUMAD ARE THE RACE THEY CAN’T UNDERESTIMATE, KILL THEM!!” Gabriel

The soldiers shout loudly with their shield and armor, their eyes became blood red they are like infected with valid fectus, their morale rise into a certain level you could not imagine.

Gabriel spoke again and the soldiers became silent.

“ SOLDIER, WORRY NOT I WITH THE FOUR HEROES WILL BE WITH YOU UNTIL THE END, WE WILL PROTECT ALL OF YOU, WITH ALL OF OUR ABILITIES, SOLDIERS BE BRAVE AND DON’T BE COWARD” Gabriel

“ DO NOT HAVE MERCY TO OUR ENEMY AND KILL THEM ALL!!” Gabriel

Gabriel lifted his huge sword above, the ground began to tremble, the shout of the soldiers can be heard on the outside the border.

“ What was happening?” a demon

“ The morale of the soldiers rises this much, I wonder who is their general”???

“ Whoever it is, how can they match general Eugene”

A man with dark skin and two horns on the both sides of his head started laughing, Eugene looks at the soldier who compliments him.

“ Don’t be careless, in war anything can happen” Eugene

“ Certainly, I apologize for my arrogant behavior” the demon

At the other side, Claire was looking at Gabriel amaze, the soldiers' morale was so high that even she felt the ground trembling.

His charisma began to show up, the soldiers revere him as a great general, respect can be seen in their eyes.

Gabriel came back, Claudia and the others were in a daze, on the scene they have witnessed earlier.

“ FUFU, well, how’s that?” Gabriel

“ You did well, I mean you did very well” Claudia

“ For your first war, you are actually good at it aren’t you?” Claire

“ FUFU, you praise me too much” Gabriel

“ No no no, you actually did more than we expect, the whole place trembled because of their morale, you are amazing Gabriel-sama” Hawkins

Hawkins attitude toward Gabriel change again, he saw Gabriel as a youth who don’t have much experience in war but seeing his soldier morale.

He couldn’t help but to respect him, Noa, who was with the other three, approach Gabriel while giggling.

“ Are you really seventeen-year-old?” Noa

“ What's up with you, your attitude completely changes” Gabriel

“What? You don’t like it?” Noa

“ Kuh! Well, not that much” Gabriel

“ Then, it's fine FUFU” Noa

The demon army was now approaching, Gabriel stands in front of the soldiers again.

“SOLDIERS THE DEMON ARMY WAS NOW APPROACHING ANY MINUTES NOW, PREPARE YOUR BOWS SHOOT AT MY SIGNAL” Gabriel

The demon army was five hundred meters away, Claudia signaled Gabriel they are now in range, Gabriel shouted.

“ SOLDIERS SHOOT!!” Gabriel

“ OPEN THE GATE AND LET US CHARGE, SOLDIERS, KILL!!!” Gabriel

The soldiers and Gabriel started run to the horde of demons, Noa, and the others did the same, Hawkins was in the back commanding the soldier.

Claudia was inside the border, because of her position, they didn’t let her fight.

The remaining bloodline of the royal family was Pola and Claudia, so losing them was a bad thing, Gabriel dash towards the demons and devils.

The demon started to shout, they charge at him, but only met their demise.

“ W....wh..at is that human” a devil

Seeing his friend turn into meat patty, he couldn’t help but step back.

However, seeing their leader turn a demon into a meat patty, they couldn’t help but rejoice and started to charge.

Each swing can kill twenty or thirty of them, the demons and devils started to panic, they started to back away in these terrifying humad.

“ All of you, what are you doing, standing there like an idiot,” A devil

“ But commander Sekin, we can’t do anything about that human, who’s treating us like an ant” a demon soldiers

“ You guys are pathetic, I will take care of him, kill those humads” Sekin

The man called Sekin approach Gabriel, brandishing his sword. He charges toward Gabriel and strikes him.

He couldn’t help but give a cold laugh because his enemy didn’t even notice him, he increases his speed then appeared at Gabriel back and slice.

my face change, he realizes that what he slice was only an after image, he just realizes the huge sword was already above smashing him.

Sekin was terrified, in the first time of his life, he met someone terrifying that even he a commander level was just a bug.

Gabriel huge sword strike at him, the soldiers behind him started to cheer, their morale rise again.

“ Oops, my huge sword, hit an arrogant bug” Gabriel

Gabriel smile reaches his ears, the demon soldiers who saw his smile, started to run away.

The demon soldiers face paled because the scene happens in front of them was something their brain cannot fully accept, every demon soldier who met Gabriel huge sword was smashed into a meat patty or turn into mince meat.

On the other side, Noa laughs hard, her eyes were red as she bath on her own enemy’s blood.

Swinging her sword, three heads will fall down, the demon soldier who saw their companion beheaded they started to hesitate.

The soldiers who followed Noa was terrified, because her battle, she was like a beast, at first, they were captivated to Noa so they want to get close to her and protect her when she was on pinch.

After seeing the bloody scene in front of them, they couldn’t help but shiver, Noa slice the neck of her enemy one by one she was now in ecstasy because of the blood spraying everywhere.

“ Come!! Fight me! You demons and devils are only this much?” Noa

The demons and devils became angry, charging at Noa disregarding their life, Noa let out a happy laugh.

“ Come at me all of you HAHAHA!” Noa

Slicing all enemy's and the fallen head keep increasing , seeing that the soldiers didn’t dare to stay because of fright.

The fight didn’t last long, her enemy was on the ground without their heads attach, standing on the mountain of corpses, Noa laughs hardly.

“ Whoa, HAHAHA! I want more, bring me some more!” Noa

“ You bastard, you will pay for this!”???

Noa turns her head, she saw a bulgy man who skin is red with big muscle carrying a big hammer in his hand, the bulgy man looks at Noa with hatred visible in his eyes.

“ You woman! What is your name? I will kill you that my men will have their justice” bulgyy man

“ HAHAHA! Fight! Fight! You don’t deserve to know my name if you can’t beat me HAHAHA!” Noa

Noa was extremely happy, the war makes her blood lust to build more, after letting it loose she was crazier than before.

“ Very well woman! I will defeat you right now!” bulgy man

“ FUWAHAHA go fight me until I was satisfied” Noa

Noa run at the bulgy man and aim for his neck, the bulgy man gave a cold snort and he lifts his hammer strike, Noa.

Before he can even hit Noa, she shifted her trajectory and attack him on his rib feeling that her katana was like hitting a hard metal she leap backwards to plan for her next attack, after their clash Noa became excited.

“ FUWAHAHA you are good, your skin was actually tough, what’s your name Demon?” Noa

“ My name is Edolas a demon giant, you amaze me human so I will get serious from now” Edolas

“ FUWAHAHAH, GOOD! GOOD! Demon excites me more!” Noa

Edolas lift his hand, aiming at Noa, he produces a flame, Noa was just laughing hard while dodging his flame attack.

Noa compresses her ki force on the edge of the wooden katana, after putting some ki with it, she increases her speed by using enhanced technique.

Edolas was startled because he found out that Noa was now beside him, Noa attacks his shoulder, the wooden katana slash deep down to his bone like a knife cutting a butter his arm was cut off.

“ Rooooooooooar!”

Edolas let out a painful roar, his arm was cut off by Noa, he stared at Noa with pale face.

“Y... you what kind of skill is that” Edolas

The skin he was proud of its hardness, was easily cut with a wood how could he not grow furious?

“ HAHAHA you don’t deserve to know if you can’t even fight don’t bother it” Noa

Noa attacks Edolas and appeared on his back, she attacks his back and cut his remaining arm. Edola was in pain.

The skin he was proud off was easily cut by a girl, who’s not even in her twenties, Noa approaches him and stab her katana on his neck.

The wooden katana easily penetrate his hard skin without resistance, Noa sits on his corpse and revealed, a beautiful smile that even a dense guy will get captivated.

But unfortunately she's sitting on a corpse and destroyed everything, Noa was now covered with the blood of demons, she turns her gaze and saw a mountain of corpses.

The attack of Gabriel and Philia cost them to lose five thousand demon soldiers, while the humad lost was only two hundred casualties and one hundred injuries, on the other side, you could see Brigitte fighting with her arm and feet with her spirit.

Attacking her enemy vital parts, demons will fall down like a lifeless doll, Brigitte turn at the upcoming magic falling down on them.

Many humad soldiers made miserable cry, Brigitte didn’t bother looking at them and just look at her enemy, every elbow and knee attack she make the demons will fall down.

A pointed eared man was currently looking at Brigitte, this man can see a spirit and can talk with them. The man approach Brigitte.

“ Girl, you are a summoner, right?”???

“ Yes, I am, so what do want from me elf?” Brigitte

“ FUFU, my name was Laze, what's your name summoner?” Laze

“ Brigitte”

“ Brigitte do you want to come on our side, we will treat you well” Laze

Laze made a smile, he gave a hand for Brigitte, But Brigitte slaps it.

“ Don’t want to, if you will fight just fight!” Brigitte

Brigitte attack Laze with her elbow aiming at his chest, he dodges it with a side step and brings out his bow, he was now aiming at Brigitte in her arms and feet.

Brigitte just coldly snorts, the shot the arrow at her, her hand turn into palm and change the arrow trajectory. The arrow shot at the sky.

Laze was surprised, but before he can even change his arrow a mole appeared on the ground and hit his man.

Laze was now writhing in pain because his jewels were smashed like an egg, Brigitte just coldly walks at him, and gaze coldly at him.

Brigitte grabs his head, Laze was confused, while he was confused Brigitte suddenly turn his head with a snap his neck was broken.

Laze lifelessly falls on the ground, looking at the sky makes Brigitte comfortable.

On the demon side, watching their companion being slaughtered one by one, they shivered and immediately retreated.

Turning their head back, they could see their companion corpse lying on the ground lifelessly, their head was separated and some even turn into meat patty.

Cold sweat starting to build on their spine, they retreat in full speed.

“Where did those monsters come from?” devil

“ I don’t know, but we only know one thing” devil

“ Those are the monster of war” Demon

The devil and demon shivered, when they remembered the scene of their companion being turned into meat patty or mince meat, being beheaded, and fall with just a single blow of an elbow and knee.

The soldiers of the humad, was now completely rejoicing , but deep down they were scared shit less about Gabriel and the heroes, they actually saw a monster.
