《Ruthless Reincarnator》Lies That Please The Ears

I was pleased. Both with Irs humility as with his cleverness.
-“So not every single one of you was dumb. Indeed, cultivating the Seed is the main point. Congratulations, old man.”
Irs gave a soundly sigh of relief, and I extended my right hand in direction of his hand.
-“YOU DESPICABLE…!”
-“STOP THIS NOW!”
Icha seemed to want a fight, but Irs got in front of her. She bit her lips again, and held herself with all her might.
- “Master, I remember the First Days of my village. We were Elves, but all others were Seraphim. Countless women gave birth to ten-winged children, and died in the process. Many said Master was heartless, but I saw how much master disliked seeing one of us dying. Then we reached for new heights on the Tree, and hundreds of us died, spilling our blood on its leaves and painting the sky red. I remember how master threw the bodies from the top of the Tree and how so many of them became undeads or food for worms…”
- “Your point?”
All this talk annoyed me. I did what I had to do.
- “Master never saw us like himself. Master never, ever, treated us like equals. Because we never were masters’ equals in the first place! We never were….”
The old man is now biting his own lips.
Icha has already drenched her beautiful sun-like dress with tears. So much yin. Isn’t It hurtful to you to produce it?
- “Master wasn’t made of Sun like us. Master had Yin in him. We always looked down on Master because of this. But isn’t Tiphoon itself not the Sun?! Isn’t Tiphoon itself made of dirt and water as well?!”
Irs talk is becoming faster and maniac. Icha can’t even cry anymore.

This much should be obvious. Still, those damn Yang-oriented beings… thinking being yang makes them mightier than others. They may be Higher, but that is only according to a certain point of view. Stupidity defines. What would be of them if they didn’t have a little bit of Yin Essence reminiscent from the time when they were True Elves?
- “Master has something we don’t have. But it can’t be balance of yin and yang, for those with balance are weak. It can’t be purity as well, for the pure are strong, but master isn’t pure and is stronger. Why would master let the weak Elves exist in this world, if Masters’ objective was to make pure yang beings, or to make pure yin beings? Why let mixed-breed beings exist? My children thought Master was just a paw, that those under us where meant to be our food, that we were above Master!”
- “And?”
Irs stopped.
- “Master is above all existences. It has power we do not have. Why would Tiphoon allow such? Why would master allow for the Shadow to exist? Why would Master treat all things equally, from Elves and Demons to Angels and even Us? Why… if not because Master is Tiphoons’ choosen one? Why not… if Master groomed us, groomed all things… to teach us, to guide us, to give us the ultimate blessing Tiphoon has given only to Master? What could be incomplete on us, on all of us on all of the world, no mater how pure or tainted we are ?!”

Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**
