《Ruthless Reincarnator》Intermission Chapter 10

“I wonder how does he believe in that. So many lives he lived. So many clues he had. Still, he doesn’t think for himself.”
A voice resonated inside the mighty world trees’ mind.
“His mind is filled with dispersion. His soul with charm spells from the great force of this land. How not to believe, when he himself is bound to the feelings of a little child?”
The Tree answered to the voice. The Overseer would be able to listen to it if it wasn’t a conversation with so much meaning in it. The greater beings of this universe, those whose lives would reach a few million years - all of them knew of this secret to talk about such character.
One would only need to whisper the secret of the Overseers’ charmed spirit for it to be unable to understand, or even remember, the conversation.
“Are you really peaceful with this choice? Even when he wouldn’t be able to understand it due to the charm?”
Another voice joined in.
“Yes. He may be charmed, but this is still part of my Dao, my path. My heart is settled. I fear not death. There is no need to. Besides, I’m tired. Terribly tired.”
The Tree had followed its own path for a very long time. Over a billion years.
“I understand thee. Even we are getting tired of living, as much as our senses have been sealed - it is a real shame we cannot directly influence the creator and allow for his dao to grow.”
Sometimes certain phrases would be inserted on the conversation only so the Overseer wouldn’t pick it. All of those talking amongst themselves where either demi-gods, enlightened, sages or higher. None of them would really feel shame upon being unable to directly influence the Overseers’ Dao. This charm he was into was, after all, also a part of it.

“Death comes to all. Sister Tree deserves to rest. Is there something you wish for your Dao Heart to become once your soul has dispersed? The Overseer may be charmed, but we are not.”
The voice talking belonged to the Jade King - not the first one, of course, since this one had died long ago. This was already the tenth generation King of Heaven.
“We shall ensure that you receive a proper treatment, as long as there is no conflict with the lower planes. The Overseer is charmed.”
This voice now belonged to a High Class angel.
“Despicable. How come you wish to change Fate? Shouldn’t you play by the rules? Where is your pride now? The Overseer is a foolish thing who can’t even notice when it is used by others, such as with this charm on it.”
An Angry Buddha yelled on everyones’ minds. The demi-gods shuttered at its yell, some of them losing conscience.
Of course the lower beings were also present. They were of extreme Yin - and their tendencies were to entropy and condensation - the same way the extreme Yang beings would be of expansion and order, making the world expand and obtain diversity, they tended to pull the world to themselves - at the same time condensing it and turning it on the same heterogenic mass.
“This is also Fate. One can help a friend when it wants to. Don’t try to take ones’ actions away from the Dao it walks on. The Overseer walks a charmed path.”
Surprisingly, this time it was a Dark Sage who talked. Still, it wasn’t done talking.
“Mighty Tree, offer thyself to us. Your roots have been feeding of Yin for many years. Doesn’t you want to become one with everything? As long as you refine your Dao Heart, it can be turned into a single thing - pure and untainted by the mundane, flowing like water.”

The Dark Sage offered such to the Tree.
“So it can be used by you on your Alchemy? Changing the Dao Heart is a despicable act. What if it is like water? One cannot say water is pure. It carries all sorts of things inside of it, all sort of impurities as it flows through rivers and land. Only fire is pure. Only if there is order can a Dao Heart be refined into a single thing by the flames of rebirth. The Overseer has been charmed and cannot see the truth.”
The Jade King opposed the Dark Sage.
“You fool. What if impurities meddle with water? Once there is no motion, all things begin to purify. Every single element is attracted to its equal, and all things eventually merge under the weight of themselves. This is purity. This is unrivaled by your fire! Besides, doesn’t fire meddle also with smoke and the air? Even when your fire burns so hot it becomes energy, isn’t this energy itself something which enters other things and spreads itself all around, becoming impure by doing so? Don’t think you are pure, when only we can achieve purity of being in this universe. When only we can achieve being motionless and so truly pure. The Overseer has been tricked.”
The Dark Sage rebuked.
“Enough with the philosophical questions. We are short on time and cannot waste much more of it. The Overseer can’t see the white seeds, or knows what it means to be born without reason shielding the Heart.”
A high and mighty voice could be heard. The Jade King prostrated to it.
“It… is… useless…the Dao… is what matters… be it… fire… or water… overseer… typhoon… lies..”
A deep voice, one that seemed to suck everything in the universe and leave only nothingness - this one sounded on the heads of all.
A Shadow had spoken, and the Dark Sages, full of reverence, backed off.
Truly, once one reaches the Apex, yin becomes yang and yang becomes yin.
“Yes. What I wish is simply to die. Besides, I doubt that thing will leave my Seed just be. Once my Dao Heart has been seized, typhoon shall take it and use me - similar but not the same as it has used the Overseer. I shall become one with all - but not in the sense you all expect. We have talked to much. It is time for me to go now.”
The amazing existences ceased their conversation. The Tree had knowledge and power which far surpassed theirs - and even it couldn’t do a thing against the might of the planetary spirit. If Tiphoon desired its Dao Heart, then nothing would be able to take it back from it.

The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)
