But that is just the upwards hierarchy of beings in the World Tree.

Downwards one will find beings equally powerful to those listed above, such as Swamp Witches, Giant Purple Worms, Dark Spirits, Earth, Stone and Metal Dragons, Dark Saints, Dark Gods, Furious Buddhas, Poisonous Sages, Frost Demons and, most Yin of all, the Eternal Shadows.

Those, however, have two big differences from those above.

First, they tend to never leave the tree by themselves. Due to the great Yin affinity they have, not to mention the presence of the Undead on the surface, these beings tend to live in tunnels made by digging around the roots of the World Tree - where the rocks and earth are softer and the Tree Root itself can protect them from a tunnel collapsing. The Eternal Shadows do not move at all, and one must step into one for it to have enough Yang energy to move.

Therefore, I needed not to place seals on them.

Secondly, however, those beings are the ones who live near the absolute Yin at the roots of the Tree, on top of the increasing Yang Metal Yang Fire Qi, which gives birth to beings of fire and malice.

Devils, demons and so on.

One can say Hell is on the deepest ends of the World Tree, but even the Demon Gods dare not to insult a single Furious Buddha, what to say about digging upwards and towards the Eternal Shadows?

No amount of Hellfire can hope to survive the Shadow’s insatiable and eternal hunger.

Therefore, those beings instead and slowly dug towards the surface, looking for faraway places to emerge from.

Of course, some did not need to dig. Teleportation isn’t so difficult once one becomes powerful enough.

But a powerful devil roaming the earth will still stir the anger of the angels, so they do not act harshly.

In the end, those can be said to be the fruit of my hard labor for over 500 years.

Not only them, in fact, but also all sorts of other creatures which have taken habitat near them, be those creatures mutations and differentiations from those superior beings, such as Dark Elves, Dwarfs and Trolls, but sometimes even just the result of the immense amount of Qi and Magic Power which concentrate around the World Tree.
