《Ruthless Reincarnator》Ascension

Book 3

I finished ascending to Outer Space.
Under the gaze of those who call themselves “Apex Existences”, all their struggles are useless.
The last of the True Elves present at the last branch of the World Tree had turned into them, so nothing higher could be born.
And even if there were any True Elves remaining, it wouldn’t be easy to do so.
The Tree is a great beacon of Qi and Magic Power. Its higher branches have such concentrated Yang Qi, those inhabiting it are like small suns. Its depths have managed to accumulate such concentrated Yin Qi with the passage of the time, that those inhabiting it are like small black holes.
At surface level, the Tree stands alone, it’s roots firmly planted in a gigantic marsh land, like a sea of mud. Its main root is exposed for dozens of kilometers, while huge tunnels and enormous amounts of deceased bodies and organic mater rest in its hundreds of thousands of caves, feeding such death energy to it that Liches, Skeletal Dragons and Death Lords spawn naturally.
Near the end of the tree’s roots, only a bit before the heat from the mantle starts to lower the amount of Yin present, there is such concentrated Yin Water Qi dripping from the rocky walls around that even an undead would be destroyed by its purity and coldness.
The tree’s roots, however, can survive this due to the great amount of Yang Qi it is capable of taking from Tiphoons’ mantle.
Isn’t it ironic that the higher yang races are on the top of the tree, but the higher yin races are about halfway to the end?
Lower than that… lower than that there are races of yang water energy, yin wood energy, yang wood energy, yin fire energy, and, lastly, yang fire energy.

In the end, those at the Highest Heights and those at the Deepest Depths aren’t so different at all.
Lifeforms born from Yang Fire Qi.
Except those above are born from Yang Fire Yang Fire Qi, almost directly from sunlight… from radiation from the sun.
As those bellow are born from Yang Metal Yang Fire Qi, directly from the lava underground… from the heated guts of Tiphoon.
Those are the top are Righteous. Those in the bottom are Mischievous and Impetuous.
And those in the middle way to the bottom… haha. Poor of any of those at the bottom if they try to mess with them.
Unbelievably dense, unbelievably tainted in its purity, and unbelievably deadly.
Only those at the very top would be able to counter such concentrated Yin Water Yin Qi. Except, the result would probably be mutual annihilation.
As for the names of such races…
Those who inhabit the surface, near the Tree, are undeads of all kinds. Away from it, the continent has such myriad races it is impossible to name all.
Those who inhabit the very first branches upwards would be Wood Elves.
Those a little above are High Elves and Winged Serpents.
Higher one can see Sky Elves and Wyverns.
Above, there are Natural Spirits and Half-Dragons.
Then, High Spirits and True Dragons.
After them, there come the ones I call Saints, but which many of the races under call simply Gods. They have a little contact with Tiphoon, and some mastery over smaller reigns of the world, such as deer, carps, some fruits and etc are given to them. They can manipulate those things in some sense, and are connected to them.
Above them, however, come the Demi-Gods, but which are called High Gods by others. Those have higher contact with Tiphoon, and have received dominion over large reigns, such as the seas or the earth.
Above even demi-gods, there come those I have called Enlightened. Enlightened because they know about my existence, and also a little bit about my ordeal.
They are a bit aware of what the world shall go through, and work towards making it a smoother and faster process.
Then, above even those, come the Sages.
Those already know that any work in this regard is useless, since I have expended a longer time with them, and they understood that we aren’t so different at all - except for all the power and blessings I received from Tiphoon. Until the time of human appearance is here, no one will truly progress - and what if the Enlightened manage to shorten the time of the next differentiation?
They will only be free once a race they do not know of, the “Humans” start to appear on this world.
If their destiny is to be unable to reach a greater good and they shall not die of old age or disease, why work towards anything?
They patiently wait the end of times, while also living their own lives.
Above there are the many Hierarchies of Angels, which have not but one purpose: To serve Tiphoon, even if the god himself doesn’t see any merit on any work they can do. The higher class of angels, the Seraphim, do know that Tiphoon is too big and eternal to care about anything they do, but hasten to make prevail order, expansion, and other such characteristics of the Yang Fire Yin Fire Qi to prevail.
That, of course, means battle in heaven - since some of the angels somewhat began to think they are the only ones who can speak to Tiphoon, while also cursing the black color of their Seeds. What’s that about?
They seem to think the dark color on ones’ Seed makes them sinners, but that seems totally stupid to me. All seeds are black, so how come they think they can make something to have them whitened?
Unless they find a way to destroy ones’ Seed, they won’t be able to do it. Except it is impossible to do so - even for me.
Anyhow.
In the end, they are still The Yin Fire Qi inside the Yang Fire, so there is another class above them.
Those are the Immortals - above Angels, Sages, Enlightened and Gods, those are the Yang Fire of Yang Fire Qi.
The Immortals care not for the world, not to say they mostly despise it, as their bodies and consciousness are pure light and heat.
However, they dared to grown too arrogant, so I limited them and placed a great seal on them as well.
As I ascend to beyond where they lie, this seal of mine shall last until the day I remove it, eternity from now.

Only Villains Do That
While waiting on an Akihabara train platform one day, ordinary high schooler Yoshi Shinonome was suddenly plucked from his normal life in Japan and whisked away by a beautiful goddess to Ephemera, a world of magic and adventure, to serve as her Hero and drive back the evil Dark Lord. This is not his story. Standing nearby at the moment Yoshi was isekai'd was a man named Seiji - a rude, cranky, misanthropic musician who was not at all pleased to find himself also snatched up and transported to Ephemera by the goddess's wicked sister, Virya. According to this self-proclaimed Goddess of Evil, the whole fantasy adventure thing was a game she and her sister played to stave off the boredom of immortality, and since the good goddess, Sanora, had picked her Hero...well, Virya needed a Dark Lord. A grown man with his own career and ambitions, Seiji has no interest in playing. Unfortunately for him, the call to adventure was not a request. Now, he must conquer Ephemera and defeat the Hero...or Virya promises to make him beg for the release of death before granting it. Playing along for his own survival, Seiji nonetheless is under no illusions who his true enemy is, and it's not the naive young would-be Hero from his own world. Placed in an impossible position, Seiji must make enough progress toward world domination to keep his sadistic patron goddess off his back, but not so much that he can't strike an accord with the forces of Good and convince the Hero Yoshi that it's the goddesses who are their mutual enemy. Forced to embrace Evil without being too evil, Seiji walks the razor's edge, building his forces and biding his time till he can get revenge on the goddesses and be free of them, his only certainty that he will not be getting out of this with his hands clean. A Dark Lord's gotta do what a Dark Lord's gotta do. Updates Tuesday and Friday. Most Patreon tiers get to read one chapter in advance of the public release!

Primal Adaptation
The story of a little soul that ends up tangled in the games and bets of entities that utilize beasts of any primordial planet as a game avatar to make the Perfect Primal. This tale is not only its story because it will also share its destiny with the entity that will help it in its journey, and together they will rise from their particular situations one way or another. Primal Adaptation is a history with some RPG elements in it, but the MC can't look at a status screen or skill page because it's a beast through and through. I have implemented an evolution system for all the creatures of this story, where they grow or mutate depending on what they consume. In this tale, you won't find a Deus ex machina to give the protagonist power-ups. Everything must be learned and comprehended before its use unless it's something it gets immediately, or the abilities get understood by instinct. In essence, it is survival and gambit for opportunities, be it from one MC or the other.

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.

Notebook of possibilities
First of all, to those who started reading this I want to apologize. While it does have a ring of a nice story title, this is going to be a place where I take the Sparks of interest from other stories or random ideas and just put it down, I'm not sure how exactly but the title should summarize the basics of what is held within. To say it's a waste isn't accurate, to ask the question why is a good start, why would I want this? Because when I read a story I want to think of so many things I may see or find in the world they envision, all the possibilities that could come about, and maybe, just maybe, some author out there can get their hands on this and it will be a spark of creativity for them to make a new chapter and see their world even a smidge closer to what I think it could be. It is tagged as fanfiction for it will pertain to numerous stories, not simply one in particular. Currently it will include; Oblivion Online Dungeon Heart And many more to be listed as they appear.
