《In The Dragon Ball Universe With The Summoning System》Chapter 50: Confrontation

About an hour or two went by, Glenn left for the motor inn, Lee was going around talking to people, seeing if he could help. And we were just here doing absolutely nothing.
"Hey man, are you okay?" Lee walked up to me and asked.
"I... don't know, I just feel like I could be more useful, you know?" I said, annoyed.
"Yeah, yeah I feel you, but hey, maybe there'll be a time where you can help us or something," Lee said, trying to reassure me.
"Yeah... yeah, hey, Lee... can I talk to you about something in the office?" I asked, pointing toward the office.
"Uh... sure," Lee said, as we walked into the office.
"...I know who you are, Lee Everett" I said, "You're a murderer... who killed a state senator who was sleeping with your wife, and I'm pretty sure others here might know too..." I said.
"Damn... first Carley, now you? What do you want?" Lee asked.
"I just want you to know that I know... and while I don't approve of what you did, I can see why you did it..." I said, "I'm not going to put it against you, and frankly... being able to kill would be pretty useful nowadays, and don't worry. I'm not going to go around shouting that you're a murderer or whatnot"
"Uh... thanks..." Lee said, trying to recall my name.
"Tom, my name's Tom," I said.
"Thanks, Tom..." Lee said.
"So... do you think we can get into here?" I asked, changing the subject, as I pointed at the pharmacy door, it was barricaded by a table.
"Maybe... we just have to move the table first..." Lee said.
"Alright then, let's do it," I said with a grin, as I began to pull the table away from the door along with Lee.

After about a minute, we got the table out of the way.
"Alright then, I've got the door," I said, as I tried to open the door, only to find out it was locked, "Uh... do you have the keys by any chance?" I asked with a smile.
"No, my brother probably does though..." Lee said.
"You mean the walker outside that's trapped under the pole?" I asked.
"The what?" Lee asked.
"Yeah, I saw it before but didn't think to mention it..." I said.
"We've gotta get those keys," Lee said.
"Well then, let's go," I said with a grin.
We walked out of the office, only to be stopped by Kenny.
"Hey guys, that Asian guy Glenn's in trouble, I think he might need some help... can you two go and help him out? Sorry, but I can't go... my family and all" Kenny asked.
"It's okay, I understand... well... alright, let's go," Lee said.
"Okay, does anyone else want to come?" I asked.
"I'll go with you, boss!" Zabuza said, as he grabbed his sword, Kubikiribōchō and walked to us.
"I'll go too," Carley said.
"Alright then, let's go," Lee said with a smile.

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.

Ambition [Indefinite Hiatus]
Hunger, poverty, and suffering rampages throughout the world of Terra, as its seven great nations remain locked in a draining stalemate. In the midst of all this, Eremus and Ducis, two insignificant boys born with nothing, to nothing, develop a grand ambition to conquer the world and rid it of the concept of war forever. Eremus is proud of his cunning, and is confident that it will serve him well in achieving his shared ambition with Ducis. However, now he must match wits with the greatest minds of the land, and he may find that he has bitten off far more than he can chew... Note: This is a story I wrote when I was in high school, and have only recently moved it here to Royal Road. It was my first stab at writing an original fiction of my own, and though I had many things planned for it, I don't think I'll be continuing this now or in the forseeable future.

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
