《Dungeon of Ideas》Chapter 7

" . . . . "
" . . . . "
" Let's discuss that once you become a manager, at the time I will be ready to answer your feelings. At the time no matter the answer we will be friends, right? "
" Yeah, for sure. Anyway Law I have to go do . . . . uhh . . . . work stuff sssoooo see ya. "
" See ya Sys. "
After that Law started to mess around on the test orc. In reality though he wasn't actually doing anything, instead he was thinking about what Systa had said. He also thought about the seven years he had spent with Systa. Even though the two had never met face to face seven years of talking every single day sometimes for hours and hours would make anybody close. Law just hadn't though about Systa romantically, he didn't think romantic thoughts at all since those thoughts would lead to him not having a body, which would make him sad since he didn't have a penis which would make any man sad. But when he did get thinking about it he thought about how Systa was the one who always there to reassure Law or answer any questions he had. Even when he was first reincarnated she was the one who would always be there when he was scared and vulnerable. The reason Law could even live and flourish was because of Systa, it seemed Sys was more of a mom than a wife or girlfriend.
Once Law got to there he mentally shook his head and decided he would accept Systa's feelings no matter what she decided. After that Law focused on his Test Orc's brain with a newfound energy from a man in love.
One day while he was browsing through the store Law discovered a book that he knew he had to buy. The book was by a sort of mad scientist from a unique humanoid race that had battle prowess worse than some human babies. In return they had amazing levels of intellect.
The scientist was someone who sought the peak of biology. Sadly for each discovery he made there were millions of secrets left to be discovered. On his death bed the scientist, Trillman Unique, left a single sentence " The body of a single creature contains more secrets than our entire universe.

". The quote wasn't anything deep or thought provoking but it was the last thought of someone who spent his entire life studying the bade of life. It contained his sadness his anger and his curiosity that he died with. The book Trillman left was on the brain which Law was having tons of trouble advancing in.
Law first bought the book for 10 DP, it would have been more expensive except for the fact that the book could be found in most libraries. Once he bought it Law spent an entire day trying to comprehend and absorb the contents of the 500 page book. The first lines read.
" For those of you reading this book keep in mind that it will not contain all knowledge on the brains of the creatures I am writing about, specifically Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, three of the most common races. Instead this book will hold at most a fraction of a fraction of what can be studied. "
At that point Law was fully immersed in the book, he appreciated that the book didn't start like most others of it's type. Most started with the writers saying " this book contains everything you need to know " or " I am the leading scientist on the brain " or any other such arrogant lines. The hundred thousand and something words contained inside of the book truly broadened Law's insights into the brain of his orc's despite the book not even mentioning the race except in passing.
Once he finished reading the book Law read it again and then again. Once he absorbed everything he revised all of his old theories and ideas and realized that what he'd been doing was nothing more than child's play compared to the true scholars. Marshall then went through and started intensive testing on his Test Orc. He completely fixed everything that he had originally done wrong and then added a few upgrades. Once he was done he left his orc alone to consolidate it's knowledge while he went and bought more books from established scholars. He of course didn't buy books on just brains he bought books on the biology of all types of life from humanoids to beasts to plants.
Once he spent a few days reading all those books he went back to his test orc and gave it a test to complete. The test was to test highschoolers. The orc aced the test with only a few days of studying. He figured that the orc could probably learn English to a fluent level within a year or so.

Seeing the evolution of the orc Law went through and found other mistakes before fixing them. He also changed the brains to be as best he could on all of his dungeon residents.
Once he was done fixing the brains and bodies of all his creatures Law thought of the awkward situation between him and Systa. Though it was mainly awkward on her part since she thought Law didn't like her as much as she hoped. Law of course told her otherwise and explained how he would accept the feelings she had once she became a manager. This lead to Systa becoming much more flirty and open, while he was thinking of that Systa's first daily message popped up.
Hey sexy.
" What's up Sys. "
Call me babe or some other cute pet name, come on we are dating.
" I told you that makes me feel awkward though. . . . Fine, what's up Screeniepoo. "
You're a damn genius and that's the best you could come up with. It's like all your smartiness went to the scholarly areas and you have like zero E.Q. I'd rather you call me my name than Screeniepoo.
When she said that it got Law thinking, he'd never actually heard her name.
" Wait I've never actually heard your name before. What is it? "
I want a cute pet name first.
Law thought this cute side of her wasn't so bad but at the same time it was really hard coming up with something cute. He'd never had a girlfriend after all.
" ' Sigh ' Let me think about it then. "
I'm going to work while you think, just think of calling me when you are ready.
" Alright. "
Law also did a little work with creating another floor to his dungeon, he wasn't done with his first floor he just wanted to get the outline of the next floor done. The was multiple long corridors that extended seven miles long and were not even a mile long. Each of the corridors were going upwards on a slope that would test people's stamina and endurance. The corridors also had odd effects one would be super hot the other super cold one would have wind constantly coming from forward one would be darker than night with many obstacles another would blindingly bright one would have countless tiny monster bugs making it impossible to to sleep or maybe even eat in the corridor and the last corridor be filled with water making people have to swim. The water room would be the only one that is fatal unless people in the other rooms get unlucky. The hot room could make people faint and die the cold room could cause hypothermia the dark room would trip people and they could trip and bust their heads the light room the same as the dark and the bug room could have bugs climb inside of someone's body killing them. When Law finished planning out his next floor he realized he would need critical information for thinking up Systa's pet name. So he thought of calling her.
Come up with my name already, I'm surprised.
" Not quite babe, I need certain vital information. What do you look like. "
What do you mean?
" You know body shape and stuff like that. Are you tall and lanky, short and athletic? "
Oh well I am short, about five feet three inches. I have wide hips with a phat ass. 😉. I have grey skin. Oh and I have decent sized breats at about c-cup.
Law was excited hearing . . . . reading what she had written. When he was on earth he loved choking the chicken to curvy women.
" Then I have the perfect nick-name, Juicy. "
What, you gonna eat me. 👅.
After that the two went on to get as close to sexting as people in there situation could. All the while Law was thinking of getting as many DP as he could that way he could by his Idol Permit. He really wanted his snake back after all. Law had long forgotten about learning Juicy's real name.

The journey has just begun, and the hardest step is always the first one. ~ This is my attempt at both the Xianxia/Wuxia and Portal/Isekai genre of fiction that I love, and the means to provide a story set in such guidelines, while distancing myself from some of the more common tropes. I do hope you enjoy the story I shall endeavor to tell. ~ Average post between 1000 - 3000 words. This is a work in progress, and will be edited and adjusted over time.
