《This Game We Call Life》chapter 51: in two

chapter 51
it's amazing how people who regularly have their dreams controlled frequently learn to be able to control dreams themselves, similar to how people who frequently have telepathy used on them develop the ability to use telepathy. i watch for a minute to see the kind of dream they prepared for me. turns out to be a typical nightmare, it's like they weren't even trying to be creative. i easily dispel the dream and create a forested environment similar to the forest surrounding the village, making sure to hide Lilith behind some bushes. i also add a certain touch to the dream.
"oh, impressive. to be able to manipulate your dreams to this degree of control and accuracy you
must have played with your dreams regularly." ???
i look over at the speaker who turns out to be the god of humans.
"of course, it makes one feel like the absolute god, creating tangible world with just your thoughts"
jack
'it is rather fun, not as fun as sex though.' emotion
am i really that much of a male nympho? it's really surprising how much lust the emotional part of
me has.
"i can't deny that" god of humans
"i have a feeling that the only reason I'm in control right now is due this being my dream." jack
"i can't deny that either. unfortunately for you i have prepared something special for this occasion."
god of humans
he begins to cast a spell like none i have ever seen, it isn't destructive, that much i can tell from the
shape of the mana. but the problem is i can't figure out the point of the spell, what it's purpose is,
this type of spell has yet to be demonstrated by asmodeus.
while i was trying to figure the spell out, he finished it. suddenly i feel pain rack my body like I'm

being split in two.
"now, lets see if you can still hurt me in your true form" god of humans
[window]congratulations! you are one of the very few to come across your true form! even though
it's a dream it is still an incredible accomplishment. you will experience some changes to your body
because of this , that is not necessarily a good thing.[window/]
i don't just feel like I'm being ripped in two, i am being ripped in two. after a couple seconds of this
rather mild pain, it's nothing compared to some of the poisons I've taken while improving my poison
resistance, i look down and notice that I'm in my female form.
'odd, so I'm really a girl on the inside?' Jackie?
after a second i don't hear a response from emotion, i don't feel him inside me. it's the first time my
mind has been truly calm.
"i would totally fuck me"???
i look over at where the voice came from and see myself, my male self to be exact.
"sorry but I'm not into men" logic
"technically thats masturbation." emotion
"i have never masturbated in my life, i never had to, so why start now?" logic
"true. anyway, want to beat the shit out of this puny god?"emotion
"why not? the taste is rather divine." logic
the puny god in question is stuttering while staring at me in shock. emotion picks up a rock and
throws it at his face, surprisingly it hits, unsurprisingly it doesn't do any damage. it is however
enough to shock him. not wasting a second i dodge off to the side, hiding myself in the trees with a
combination of nature, or as natural as dreams get, and magic.
"go ahead use your magic tricks, I'll use the fun stuff" emotion

emotion wraps himself in lighting, different from the cloak of flames skill, which i still have no idea
how to activate or it's effects, it is not a skill but a spell. the electricity affects his nerves and
muscles and nerves in a way that makes them more efficient and able to use more of them. the cost
is a small amount of damage done with every movement, meaning if your perfectly still you don't
get hurt, but if you move a lot you're going to feel pain.
the god recovers enough to pull out a sword and swing at emotion, who ducks underneath it and
swings at him with his own sword. each of us has only one of the swords, and i don't have the
ability to recreate such a powerful artifact. i blink up behind him, with a little help from altering the
dream scape, not that i can do it much as he is trying his damnedest to keep it from changing, an
impressive feat in for someone else's dream when they have control. i use assassinate and back
stab at the same time to attack him, before blinking away again.
'i love this skill, it's fucking amazing.' logic
"what do you know, my true form is still human enough to hurt you." logic
i lick the delicious blood off of my sword. i can feel Lilith shaking from watching me lick the blood
off of the sword, she must have gotten excited. it also served to distract the god of humans and open him up to emotions attack, which severs a hand. luckily he used fire magic to cauterize the
wound so it doesn't waste any of the blood, and by that i mean on the hand, not the arm, the arm is bleeding out.
i start to feel something off.
"shit." logic
"what is it?" emotion
"something much more powerful than any god I've ever met has taken control of this dream, not
someone we can fight against and even hope to win" logic
at this even the god of humans goes pale. after a sudden surge of power everything goes white,
not like we were blinded but like we were put into a white room.
"or-oracle, wh-what are you do-doing he-here" god of humans
he looks like he's ready to shit himself, not that emotion looks any better. i feel fine, probably
because fear is an emotion, and logic is incapable of emotion, just as emotion is incapable of logic.
