chapter 40

on our way over to the big house Johanna runs ahead, leaving us quite literaly in her dust. after that jackline asks me a question.

"how much do you know about your species?" jackline

"not much. except that i can turn into a mass of darkness." jack

"let me help you unlock one of your racial abilities." jackline

"OK, how?" jack

"did you know that shades are all technically gender neutral, they just take the physical form of a man or woman for

convenience." jackline

"so, you mean i can change my gender?" jack

"yes, but you can't change what you look like as a girl any more than as a guy." jackline

"alright, lets try it out. so am i just supposed to will myself to be a girl or something?" jack

"yup." jackline

as soon as she says that i begin to will myself to become a girl. i feel myself shrink about a foot, my hair gets longer, and

i become more slender, less muscular. the whole process takes about 30 seconds and doesn't feel unpleasant. i stretch a

little bit and find that i have as much control over this body as i have as a male.

i real in shock as a rather tall goddess bends over and gives me a bear hug.

"jackline, whats wrong?" jack

"oh, sorry. you were just so cute. here, look at yourself." jackline

when she says that she pulls out a mirror and shows it to me. i have waist length silky black hair, small mounds on my

chest, and an overall petite figure.

"I'm a fucking loli." jack

"i know!" jackline

"Johanna's going to flip" jack

as she says that she gives me a lollipop, which i stick in my mouth. i love sweets, i always have and always will.

after about 10 minutes of walking, it took longer than normal due to my shorter legs, we arrive back at the big house. i

walk inside and go into the living room, where everyone stares at me. eventually ghost comes up and sniffs me.

'master?' ghost

i reach up to try to pet her, only to find that my arm is too short.

"sit" jack

i point to the ground and ghost happily sits on her knees. i reach my arm up again to pet her behind the ears, much to her

delight.

"jack?" Johanna

"yo." jack

i feel something wrap around me and pull me off to the side, only to be embraced by a snake.

"so cute, i just want to hold you forever." Lynda

"I'm not doing this again" jack

i twist my way out of her grasp, this form is surprisingly flexible.

"i don't want to be rag doll again." jack

"fine" Johanna

i could see Johanna blinking off a tear when i say that, like her hopes and dreams have been crushed.

"anyway, what are we going to call you, you know, for while you are female." Lucy

"jack is fine." jack

"no,no it is not! you have to have a different name, something like jackline, only jackline is taken so we have to think of

something else." Johanna

"why not Jacky?" Lynda

Lynda seems to be a lot more confident after getting drunk with everyone, thats good.

"i like it, but lets change it up a little. how about Jackie.?" Johanna

"um, guys, do i get a say in this?" jack/Jacky/Jackie

"no!" everyone

"i like Jackie, it has a nice ring to it." Lilith

"e tu Brutus?" jack

resined to my fate, i sit back and suck on my lollipop while the girls argue over me.
