Bellator Perspective
1 Hour Later
I am currently getting ready for my name to be called to go fight again. It has been a while since I fought almost continually. Should I go to cooking class again and cook food for everyone. Yeah that will be a good idea I do not want to be there when they are having the legendary “Girl Talk” the real question what should I bring I can bring meat, pie, or cookies I think I should make the pastries because, they take longer. Vulpine is with them to make sure they do not fight or kill each other. I yeah while the cookies and pie will be cooking I’ll ask my dark magic teacher if he can teach me [shadow step] in case I need to make a quick getaway if the girls. I shiver then sneeze now I know I am being watched by someone probably Rosalie sent to spy on me. I should lose her after the match can find me before she can find me through the crowd.
Can team Reaver and Team 11 please go on stage for the next, fight. (Announce)
I go to the stage which made of solid granite. I arrive to meet five hooded figures on the stage. Well they are probably rouges or thieves looking how at their sides they probably have almost perfect team work because, their breaths are almost synchronized. I go on stage and I can feel death stares from the crowd, influential figure heads on the balcony, and an intense death stare from my opponents.
Ready Fight (Announcer)
The cloak figures raise their hands up.
We give up are opponent is to strong. (Leader???)
The cloak figures gave up so near the finals to bad. (Announcer)
Oh it seems this match is the semi-finals I did not even know oh well more time to learn [Shadow Step] and make more pastries. I bolt out of the stage to my classroom making really weird turns and cutting through windows to avoid people. I arrive at my dark magic class I walk up to the teacher who is an old man with sunken eyes his name was Daniel. I bow my head.

Me [Shadow Step] (Bellator)
Raise your head young man you might be the most simple of my students you have the most potential here you can the book I wrote outlining the basics of dark magic and the materials to do ritual including undead magic. The deep blue is a book mark is the different spells for sneaking and moving around quickly. (Daniel)
Why give. (Bellator)
I am not giving it to you I am making a deal with you if you become my first apprentice I will give you the book. (Daniel)
Sounded too good to be true.
Catch? (Bellator)
Oh it seems you are not as unintelligent you led people to believe well I feel like I am dying I need someone to pass on my legacy. (Daniel)
Why me? (Bellator)
Because all the other students are brats who want everything handed to them you are the only one who tries to study in earnest. (Daniel)
This will be nice to have a magic master to learn from especially for my weakest and my less used element. I need to make sure I take advantage of this but, it might be a trap so I need to be on edge when he is teaching me.
Accept need leave cook food. (Bellator)
The old man nodded when I waved leaving out from the front door.
I head to my cooking class where I see the door open but, no Ms. River inside. I decide to go inside and use the ingredients at hand.
*One hour and a half later
I made about 5 dozen cookies and a single mixed berry pie. I have the cookies in a large bowl they are in the shapes of wolves, three prong claws, swords, and a helmets with horns and two eye holes. The pie is baked to perfection. While the pastries were cooking I was reading the book Daniel gave me I read about [Shadow Step] which was easy to understand but, hard to put into practice. I also read about the process of making undead I need to find a body preferably strong and force a soul into the body making them into an undead servant I can harvest souls easily can kill monsters and force their souls into human or other monster bodies which I will harvest souls but, I will only use them if I need help in a large scale battle. When I was on that train I am in front of my door. I knock on my door and make sure I do not step in a pit of basilisks. I get no response so my first response is to press my helmet against the door to hear any shuffling or words. Completely silent now I know that there might be a trap so I walk outside touch the ground and make an iron stool and I make a small table of earth. I bring both of them inside place them next to my door and place the pastries on the table. I sat on the metal chair I pulled out the black book with papers sticking out of it. I turned to the page for enchantments I looked at the weaker enchantments first and chose one immediately I took of my helmet and started to morph the rune inside the helmet I supplied it with my with that was infused with the dark element. It was a success because, I already knew how to handle runes from the dwarf blacksmith that taught me. The enchantment was a basic one meant for hoods or mask but, it served its purpose even if I removed the bottom half of my helmet or opened my helmets mouth making my face look like it was shrouded by shadows. This entire process took about 30 minutes because, I have a large mana pool, control of mana, and the enchantment was a simple one [Shroud]. After I put on my helmet it felt no different with the enchantment. I decided to read more on [Shadow Step.

Some of the cookies are gone but, the pie is intact I decide to try my luck on knocking again.
*Knock Knock
No response might as well go inside I look around to make sure no one is around and place the chair away. I pull out my key and place it inside of the key hole I open the door. What I see baffles me to no end when I look at the thing in my room I just stand their dumbly looking.

Tales of Mana
Announcement: I (the author) am currently on a journey through guides, feedback and countless pages of miscellaneous other stuff to improve this work. I will not change the plot, but the style should be improved by a lot. I also intend to give more insights on the world and its characters. Once that is taken care of, this message will be removed. Until then, I wish you keep this in mind if you keep reading. - You know the stories about how some random person get's resurrected as the hero of a fantasy world after dying in their previous one? Well.. Mana may have been revived, but definitely not as a hero. This world does not require to be saved. It has to be changed. However.. how much can something be bent.. before breaking? - Mature tag due to: description of gory scenes. Some violence. This will go down after the first few chapters, but will resurface later on. Example: """"had literally drowned on its own blood"""". No sx scenes. To get some things out of the way: -this is my first submission, and the first story I ever wrote. If you find mistakes, or have something to criticize, please do so, but DON'T just write """"xy = bad"""". Explain me how to improve. Would be nice.
