I followed as the Hokage and the Anbu led the way. We entered a hidden door right next to the Hokage's office. I would be lying if I said I didn't know this door existed, but I never bothered researching what lays behind this door.

We started descending the spiral staircase step by step. The place became darker and darker as we descended. Going down for around 5 minutes, we finally seemed to reach a leveled plain. I couldn’t see anything with my left eye, and my right was blinded because of Kotoamatsukami; it wasn’t until the hokage gestured with his hands that the lights opened revealing an astonishing arena!

The arena had the statue of the Second Hokage and was more magnificent than the arena used for the Chunin exam in the anime. Flabbergasted, my amazement was clear to everyone!

It wasn’t hard for the Hokage to notice my amazement, he sighed as this was the first time he saw me act like a child, then admitted “Are you sure you want to do this? This snake is a rare specimen and even A-rank jutsu can’t damage its scale at all when it reinforce them with chakra"

I knew that the Hokage gave me an unfair deal this time, I could feel his disdain back at the office but this might prove a good opportunity to study those scales! “Do you want some of its scales? I am planing on melting most of it down and leaving some scales for me as an extra reward, is that fine?”.

The Hokage seemed to think for a while and then said “If you could really melt its scale, forget about our deal, I will admit that your ninjutsu is an S rank and will give you 1,000,000 Ryo and allow you to take some scales with you as long as you don’t damage all the scales with your technique. I don’t believe your technique could even hurt it body since it’s body has an affinity to Yin Chakra"

I smiled and nodded; I am the natural predator for this snake! Not only do I have an endless amount of Yin Chakra, its own chakra affinity is Yin! After killing a creature strong enough to resist Jonin level jutsu, I will get a huge amount of Yang energy! I think it would be enough to strengthen my bones to the standards of a Taijutsu Chunin.

I kept waiting on anticipation until it was brought to the other side of the room. A huge black Boa but with the fangs of a viper! It fangs suggested that it is venomous but its body is strong enough to constrict people and suffocate them to death.

The Anbu backed down and stood behind the Hokage. The snake started looking at me as if it was thinking of me as its food, but I didn’t give it the time to attack first. I could feel the amount of Yin Chakra in its body and in its venom! I quickly jump backward and use Mind Body Withering technique. The snake seemed to notice something is amiss so it tries to escape but it was just too late!

The pupils of the sake quickly becomes bigger as its entire body starts to melt from the inside. It crawl around in pain but there is no escaping death! Seconds later, liquids starts leaking through its scales. Liquids so acidic that it started reacting with the ground of the arena, melting whatever it comes in contact with.

I return to my body and land on my legs and then dash toward the dying snake. It constricts what is left of its muscles to jump on me, but the avatar of death was thinking otherwise! The poor snake didn’t stand a chance as it shrank in fear breathing its last breaths before laying motionlessly on the ground.

The Hokage and the Anbu came forward but I quickly asked them to wait as I picked on of the snake’s scales in my hand showing it the Hokage. The Hokage focused his attention on the scale that started melting in my hand! The liquid was so corrosive that my skin started melting too but it soon healed by itself!

My hand fell down throwing what is left of the scale on the ground. I was destroying and rebuilding my entire bone structure as I was melting the scale! The scale was very amazing! I could go for days theorizing and analyzing how amazing the scale was, but I will shortcut it. The scale was built by using cells that have a very high affinity with Yang Chakra, once indued with Yin Chakra, the Yin and Yang Chakra didn’t fight, but worked together to make a much more powerful type of chakra!

After the death of the snake, the soul of the snake wasn’t there any longer, so the Yang Chakra in the scales stopped existing, yet it could still be traced with further inspection!

I received a higher amount of Yang energy than what I anticipated so I thought I’d try copying the idea of the snake and change my bones into ones that have a very high affinity with Yang Chakra, but I soon realized that this won’t be achievable without a higher chakra source, thus I gave up on it and just rebuilt my bone structure to strengthen and optimize it. The pain was immeasurable, but to me it was negligible as I withstood it and kept a straight face in front of the Hokage the whole time!

The Hokage was amazed by the power of my technique, but I could sense him feeling curious and anxious when he saw my skin recover from the acidic liquid.

I broke the silence by saying “Is it an S-rank or do I need to melt more scales?”. Hearing that the Hokage laughed anxiously and said “no-no need to melt more scales! I acknowledge that it is an S-rank ninjutsu! A strong one at that! You killed a creature that even a Jonin would have hard time dealing with! I am impressed! No wonder everyone called you the genius of the village!"

I looked at him with tearful eyes as I said “Can we please talk? Just me and you?”. I acted like a kid on purpose to try to get Hiruzen to soften his heart. He seemed to feel guilt, and he soon gestured for the Anbu to leave us alone. He came closer to me and said “What is wrong?”.

My tears started flooding as I started crying while saying “I always tried my best for the sake of the village and my clan since I was a child... My mother died, my sister is in a critical condition! My dad became a drunkard and my clan has failed into a state of strife! You are the Hokage! I respect you like if you were my grandfather. Can you please tell me what did I do to deserve all of this? I am always trying to be strong, but I think that I’ve kept a lot inside that I need to let go of."

Hiruzen being Hiruzen tried to comfort me, and the conversation continued between us until I acted as I am starting to open up to him, and he surely took the chance to ask me about my healing ability so I said “This is an A-rank supplementary ninjutsu! I call it Yang Regeneration Jutsu! It is a jutsu that uses your reserve Yang chakra to multiply your cells in a short period of time."

Hiruzen looked at me with worry appearing in his eyes and asked “Isn’t it dangerous? doesn’t it exhaust your cells?”.

I was laughing inside as I thought ‘You, Hiruzen; have activated my trap card!’ pausing a little before replying "It is not dangerous as long as you have the Yang chakra stored in your body. This is why I came to you and asked for the money! I wanted to make a pill that gives who consumes it some chakra. I only needed the money and the agreement of the Akimichi clan as the pill is based on their technique. Of course it will be chakra with no affinity, but I am very sure that after I win the competition with Fū and make my father the clan head again, I can finally have time to research the scales in order to produce pills with different chakra affinities! I am thinking of making the pill exclusive to the village, but you know grandpa Hiruzen? I think that the village has given up on my clan in its time of need. When the walls closed down, I feel that the village shut it doors on our begging cries. I will follow your advice and be strong by taking the clan matters in my own hands and make sure that it becomes prosperous like the other prestigious clans! Make sure that my family could raise their heads high!"

Hearing the news about the pills, Hiruzen’s eyes lit up, but as he heard me giving up on making such a thing exclusive to the village, he started building a plan in his head that will make me loyal to the village; and so the long Will Of Fire lecture began. We walked outside of the arena and he kept on talking and talking! His mouth was never shut, and when we reached Ichiraku Ramen shop, he finally shut his mouth. I ordered beef ramen and then looked at Hiruzen innocently straight into the eyes and then asked “Grandpa Hiruzen, not as a Hokage, but as Grandpa, who do you think is right and who do you think is wrong? Fū sent assassins to kill me, killed my mother and injured my sister. We never had any enmity, but he attacked me and my family and ruined the clan. Am I wrong for only seeing it from my side?"

Now it was time for Hiruzen to decide, which is more important. Controlling a clan with no one being able to use an S-rank jutsu properly, or giving back control and gaining the support of the genius that made that S-rank jutsu, and is going to contribute to the village with the pills, giving it an advantage over other villages.

I expected Hiruzen to think a little but he immediately replied “No, you are not wrong for seeing things that way. All what you stated is a fact, but as the Hokage, I can’t intervene in internal clan matters, but if I could support you in anyway or form, I would be more than ready to!”.

He said such words thinking that I wouldn’t ask for anything, but then I explained the competition to him and how he can support me by giving me 200,000 Ryo from his Sarutobi clan. I promised a discount and an alliance. He seemed to think a little before agreeing, and not only that, he promised to put a good word about me for every clan head.

We started eating and talking about random things until it was 10pm. I bid Hiruzen farewell as I pretended to be sleepy. I need to go back to the Yamanaka compound to see what did my followers bring me, and also check on Sans’ notes about the prices.
