《Building a World From the Ground Up》Sylvador, the Demon Lord

Sylvador (Demon Lord)
Sylvador sighed, running his hand through his deep red hair. “Dismissed,” he said to the grovelling subordinate. The lesser demon tumbled out the door, almost tripping over his own feet.
Why did the subordinates never bring good news? Can’t they, just, not hoard the news to themselves? He knows he has only recently been appointed most powerful, but really. They show him no respect.
They probably still think he’s only a pretty boy. Sylvador the Demon Lord, Azreal Demon, is not just a pretty boy. Sure, his armor is beautifully crafted, his hair is long and gorgeous, and his cheekbones are impeccable, but he beat the opponents lawfully. There was no time for foul play, even if he wanted to do something like that.
He hoped nothing would encroach upon his territory. It would only be a minor setback, but annoying nonetheless. Only when he ruled all the land, could he speak to Ereos. She was the one who made him. She was his goal.
He wondered what She looked like. She was probably an Azreal Demon as well. The Azreals were the most powerful and noble of all the tribes, so She had to be one. Ereos probably has long, silver hair, and grey skin, like the ashes of his enemies. She would have sharp red eyes, and a perfectly shaped face.
He snapped out of his ponderings. He's been doing this far too much lately. He needs to focus. He sat back down onto his throne, not really knowing when he stood up.
A knocking sound came from the door. It was hollow, almost. Definitely one of his scouts. He only used Ents to scout. They were wooden spirits that had been corrupted by his power. They were easily replaceable.
“Let him in,” he said. The guards who only obeyed him nodded, and opened the door. A scorched Silver Ent shambled in.

“My lord,” it said, bowing in the Ent way. It was more like a tilt. “I have found more land, further from the Firelands. It has no iron trees, and I had to be careful not to burn them. The trees are easily malleable, and would make good material. There is only one problem.”
“And the problem is?” I ask. It must be a beast. Us Demons are the only Sentient creature made by Ereos, as nothing shows intelligence besides us and Flare, the Guardian.
“I seem to have found possible intelligent life. After observation, I noted they call themselves Angels. Other Ents who have bound to me sent me thoughts of knowledge. Besides us, there are Angels, Humans, Beast-Kin, and we are investigating something that is called an Elf. We only saw one.”
Well, this complicates things. “Dismissed,” I tell the Ent. “Bring back the others.” I suppose I will have to update my plans soon.

She’s content to keep her head down while working for the Mercenary Guild, but a new contract arrives that threatens to drag her back to a past she wants nothing to do with. Haunted by her own thoughts and a crow that never seems to shut up, Fena is caught between confronting her past and preventing it from ever happening again. Indigo is alone. Her adopted mother is gone, and the witch that never gets her pronouns right is currently the most popular researcher at the Royal Academy. Worse still, she suddenly finds herself with shoes to fill that are so enormous they’re more like a swimming pool, while that same witch flaunts a research project that could get them all killed. With the expectations of her entire sect weighing on her like a lead weight, will Indigo sink or swim? Can she stop the White Witch’s project before it’s too late?
