Jin exited the house and made sure everything was locked up. He didn’t want any burglars in the house.

His footsteps then headed towards the park where he’d done qi training for the first time. It was also where he could feel the most relaxed when doing qi training.

‘Qi is everywhere and can be denser. But the most important thing in qi training is being able to feel those energies and take it in. No matter how dense the qi is, it would not be properly circulated or absorbed correctly if not done right.’ Lucian reminded him. ‘But… thankfully…. Every living beings are able to circulate qi naturally so it won’t pose much of a problem. Qi practitioner’s real ability in qi training is to take those energy, turn it into their own, and uses those qi in a cycle.’

‘What happens when qi is circulated wrongly Lucian?’ Jin asked him.

‘…. Some people’s qi points, lines and center may be screwed. At worst… a popped vessel. At the very worst…. The person would become a permanent cripple.’ Lucian shrugged.

‘…. You didn’t… tell me this before…’ Jin’s mouth twitch.

‘Of course I didn’t. That is because the real high level qi trainings requires a person to be in a dense place full of a specific type of qi. The person would have to spend hours doing qi training. Imagine! The inability not to take a sh*t or p*ss all while sitting and taking in qi! That is the worst because you can’t move or your body will be completely screwed!’ Lucian grumbled as he remembered his first time doing a high level qi training.

Jin could tell that Lucian did one before and had much trouble and did not persist in the matter. ‘Alright then. If it is a low level qi training, then I might as well practice it until I can go up the ladder’ he thought to himself and closed his eyes to being qi training.

Ren came out this time while Jin was doing qi training. ‘Lucian. How far is he in qi training?’

‘Eh… Since I’ve slowed him down…. Still around peak of first stage maybe?’ Lucian scratched his head.

‘The hell? Peak of first stage? You sure it is not the first level?’ Ren’s face twitched.

‘Heh… As you may have known…. Just as there are one hundred levels in a stage, there are one hundred stages before reaching saint hood. But the power he is exuding is only at the first level in which I’ve taught him to do. But what he is doing is far surpassing of what I am trying to teach him. He is hiding his power far greater than he’d thought. So if he is in the first level, he would have the strength of many levels or stages after him.’ Lucian explains. ‘Thankfully, the seals are doing their job and restricts the qi greatly. Or else…. Hah!’

‘… Broken… But… you just said that he is the peak of the first stage. Why? Wouldn’t it require a great amount of time and qi?’ Ren was still mystified. ‘Also, how strong is he now?’

‘Ummm… About as strong as a third stage? So… between servant and caretaker of the heavens? Ha ha!’ Lucian laughed out loud.

Ren’s mouth dropped. He couldn’t understand it. If Jin’s power was as strong as the third stages, the law of equilibrium in qi training would make his body many times stronger. If the inner body is strong, it would naturally affect the outer body regardless of the seals. ‘W-wait! Don’t tell me!’

‘Mmmhmm. This is where the twin qi planes comes in. Think of the qi he is putting in is the deepest part of his qi center but the twin qi planes makes things a little different. I made sure it is used in a unique fashion. It is like a dream within a dream. An existence within an existence. Somewhat like a space within a space and it takes a lot of effort to draw out and affect his body. The seals are also doing their work making it a lot harder for him to utilize the qi fully naturally so his body isn’t affected much even if it was the law of equilibrium in qi traiing. It was like pulling a bucket of water from a well! Too much effort is needed and most of the effort used would be expended in just getting that bit of qi up to be utilized.’ Lucian continued.

‘…. The hell? Then why haven’t sh*t died around Jin? If he was collecting that much qi, many living things would die wouldn’t it?’ Ren really wanted an explanation for this.

‘That is also because he is not only drawing qi from this place. As you may know, when training in qi, the person becomes like a hole to draw the surrounding qi in. Instead of being like a small hole to draw qi in, Jin anchors himself into one spot and is like a spear piercing through the earth and collecting not only what is on the surface, but also inside and through the earth. But it is not limited to the earth’ Lucian smirked.

‘T-that’s bullsh*t! I haven’t heard of this type of qi training before! He is taking the energy coming from the earth’s core as energy? What the hell? Never heard of so much bull in my life!’ Ren grumbled.

‘Then why don’t you give him a feel? Touch him a little bit and you will know’ Lucian smiled at the disbelieving Ren.

Not even saying anything, Ren placed his hand behind Jin’s back. Sure enough, he could feel that Jin was synchronized with the earth, air and sky. Jin was surely a natural when it came to absorbing. But what amazed him was when the qi was circulated. Just as how Lucian describe it, the qi came up like a long stream going upward from the innermost qi plane to the outer qi plane and then to the body. The stream was so small and thin, it had little to no effects on Jin’s body!

‘Ha ha! I don’t believe this! Too bad the heavens and the false heavenly bastards wants Jin dead. Or else, he would become a great asset when it comes to protecting the heavens and their inhabitants!’ Ren was extremely happy.

‘*Sigh*… Those false heavenly bastards and the heavens already joined hands….’ Lucian sighed.

‘I don’t get it Lucian. You despise the false heavens but not the other heavens? Why? I don’t see that difference anymore. Just like politics. What is the difference between the two parties or races if they are doing the same thing, acting the same, preaching for the same white and honeyed goal, committing the same crimes, and only end up trying to justify their actions with sugar coated words?’ Ren frowned.

‘Maybe it is because I love the other heavens more than I do the false heavens. The false heavens began when Paragons of lights and the lesser saint couldn’t handle the system. Not that I blame them. But they acted too much like pricks and all of them wanted to be god in a sense….” Lucian answered. ‘I’m so tired of it that I just want to close my eyes and sleep forever forgetting the matter…’

“… Alright then Lucian.’ Ren said. *Chop* He knocks Lucian out and puts him to sleep. ‘Shut up and get a good rest. I’ll take over from here on out’

When Jin finished his qi training two hours later, Ren chopped his neck as well to knock him out to make him fall asleep.

With the wave of a hand, Jin’s body was transported back into Meracle’s house and into the living room. He was gently laid upon the bed sleeping peacefully.

‘*Sigh* Beyond a hero is one man. Beyond a villain is also one man. What sets them apart is their reasons. What sets them apart is their desires. But if the two no longer have a distinguishable trait, then the two are both just one man…’ Ren sighed. He then brought Lucian back into Jin’s mind and laid him down on a fluffy white cloud-like shape for Lucian to rest on.

‘Good night to the both of you. You guys have a big day tomorrow’ Ban said since he was watching from Jin’s mind.

‘… Night Ban. Sweet dreams.’ Ren replied. Ren then stretched his body, yawned and laid down to sleep as well. While sleeping, Ren was smiling unconsciously without even knowing it. Ban, who saw this left him to sleep without saying a word and fell asleep as well.
