《Transient Fire Works》Prologue to chapter 17: Return of Belphegor

Where Jin was going, only few would know. A place where darkness and corruptions truly runs free. A place where powerful people gathered in order to form a plan. A place where even the deepest secrets cannot stay hidden. At first, it looked like a normal restaurant and unnoticeable in the eyes of the public, but Jin knew that it was a place full of darkness.
When Jin entered ‘the place’ the entire air froze. Everyone recognized this air. The same air that caused a catastrophic incident many years ago. The air was caused by the appearance of a boy no older than twelve back then and disappeared.
‘It can’t be’ they all wished in their hearts. A faint coldness can be felt even from a far distance. When the people in the place turned to see who it was, they saw a blue haired man wearing a mask and all black walking slowly into the place. They recognized the mask that the blue haired man wore. Shivers ignited into the hearts of those people who saw the mask. There has been many copies in the past who wore that mask, but none who could reproduce the same aura. Not many had the balls to wear a mask in this place either. Should they wear a mask, they only invited death by many around them.
The blue haired man came up to the counter in the place and coldly spoke, “I’m here to see Mammon. Tell Mammon that it is Belphegor that calls the avarice down.”
He then turns away to walk to a table, sat down, and calmly waited for the one whom he called for.
A few minutes passed but nothing happened. Everyone was staring at the mysterious man with blue hair that wore the mask.
Then, one man came up and stood in front of the blue haired man. The man who stood in front of the blue haired masked man had blonde hair and a scar on his beautiful face. It was obvious that the blond had plastic surgery but chose to keep the scar. Time passes and the two were still doing nothing. The blond stood and the blue haired sat silently.

Then, without a warning, the blond man pulls out a gun and was about to fire until he saw something stuck inside the muzzle. “A pen?” He mutters. But before he could do anything, he found himself staring at the ceiling with both arms broken and a fork near his face. The blue haired man already pinned him down and broke his arms without much efforts. He also noticed both his ears were in extreme pain. Though he wanted to scream in pain, the words got stuck in the throat and could not get out. For he knew that if he screamed right now, he would lose more than both his arms and they were repairable.
The blue haired man slowly got back up, and sat right back down without making a sound. A dead silence froze the entire place because they saw what the blue haired man just done. He stuck a pen that came from his pockets into the muzzle and then handled the blond man like a toy by hitting both ears at the same time which caused the man to fall and lose a few senses for a short time. Then the blue haired man broke both the blond man’s arms without mercy.
A woman in a blue long dress then came up to him and said, “You called?”
The blue haired man just sat still waiting.
“I’m Mammon. Did you not hear me?” the woman in blue called out.
But the blue haired man did not respond. He sat there with arms crossed and as still as ever.
“If it is nothing, then I’ll leave” She said for a last time before turning.
“You sure like to play tricks. Come out Mammon or do I have to drag you out?” The cold voice resounded and only then did a laughter rang out.

“Ah ha ha ha ha. Belphegor. What got your panties in a bunch? Who could’ve pissed you off to the point of showing youself?” A young woman’s voice came out. Her shining purple hair flowed long and her face brimmed with confidence no older than thirty. She wore a skimpy latex black dress and came out in stilettoes with a whip in hand. “Why don’t you ever show your face? I bet you are still have a hard ass like always even when we first met”
The blue haired man said noting and pulls out a slip of paper.
When Mammon read the paper, her face stiffens. “All this? You sure?”
The blue haired man then tosses an object at Mammon and then nodded. When Mammon inspected the object, her eyes shined and agreed without hesitation.
She snaps her fingers and one large suitcase came out. Inside was a few stacks of money. The money totaled up to five hundred grand and the receipt reads, “total debt: 500,000 + 250% interest per day” which made the person who carried out the suitcase eyes to pop out. ‘What an insane amount of money to borrow on such a high interest!’ the one who carried the suitcase thought. But he said nothing.
Mammon then whispers to the one who carried out the suitcase and brought out another suitcase on Mammon’s orders.
Inside was a blue external hard drive and a laptop. The blue haired man verified the goods and nodded. He took both suitcases and walked right out without saying a word.
“*TCH* At least say hello mister mysterious” Mammon grumbled but there was a clear red flush across her face. She then got up and left as well returning to her own room where she deals with her own business in the dark place. ‘That boy could’ve at least gave me a kiss after all these years. I mean, he left for six long years and now he comes back as a mysterious hunk!’ She smirked to herself. She saw what he did and almost got enticed by him when he fought. She turns back to see that blue haired man walking out and disappearing into the dark night. "Welcome back Belphegor. I'll see you soon" she sweetly mutters the name like a song.
You don’t need me to tell who it was right? Jin came there to get a few things and was ready to pay the price for every actions he did. He knew of the consequences and chose the ones that would bring a swift end without going back into that dark world too deeply. ‘Sorry I broke your arms, but those hands are better off broken than killing people mercilessly without reason’ Jin inwardly thought. But he couldn’t get disheartened now. “The real fight begins now!”
