“Hm? Where am I? Is it time to wake back up?” a voice resounded in the middle of a sea of darkness.

The voice belongs to a person who sat in the middle of the darkness. Within the darkness, the person was sealed with multiple black and white chains spreading far across the dark space. But the person saw that one of the chains was encased in ice and a crack in the dark space had opened up.

“*Tch* Not time yet I see… so I’m still too strong… so damn cold… argh…” The person muttered and fell back into a deep sleep.

Just then, a white shadow came through the crack and reveals his true form. It was Lucian who stood right in front of him.

‘...Your power is indeed too strong and needs to be released every now and then... But those 'people’ are zoning in on Jin and they are trying to speed things up. They intend to hurt him and those around him. But I promise you, I’ll borrow your powers for a bit to protect them. I’ll ensure that they are kept safe.’ Lucian solemnly thought.

When Lucian finally left, a cold voice came from behind him. “*Tch* Your thoughts are too loud. You pretend to make mistakes and yet you have your own reasons for doing so… Fine, I’ll lend him my strength for a bit… Since those people want to pick a fight and are coming soon anyhow, might as well leak a bit of strength” the person said in the darkness. A wicked smile ran across his face and a malicious aura emanated from his domain.

Lucian and the others felt the energy growing stronger leaking more cold waves through the crack. It leaked out a lot but not enough to make the crack bigger. Lucian understood his intentions. Inwardly, Lucian smiled and thought, 'Thank you Cyan Conqueror. I won't let harm come to Jin' or anyone close to him.'
