《The Summoner of Cuties (Indefinite Hiatus)》Crimson Demonic Arachne

As he approached the loot, he saw a staff, a dagger, shoes, and a pile of fiber. The dagger was made of bone and its edge was jagged, giving it a savage look. The shoes were dark blue but it did not have much decoration and the staff was made of a dark wood. However, on top of it was a red jewel which strangely looked like an eye.

Of these items, he was most excited about the Red Eye Stave. Its skill, Demon's Stare was pretty overpowered. But he wasn't level 8 yet, he still needed a little bit more. He put them into his inventory and went off to level up.
Some time later, after killing the Nth spider, Arin finally reached level 8. He quickly equipped the stave along with the shoes and took a look at his stats.

Afterwards, he moved on to the next area. He chose not to summon a monster but to just practice fighting with just him and Tuttles. After the fight with the sub-boss, he realized that he could've died if he had summoned too late. The spider would've killed him in the middle of his casting. After all the skill itself had a ten minute cooldown and it takes around 4 seconds for the spell to activate. Furthermore, it isn't exactly garanteed that the summoned creature would last the full 10 minutes in a fight. Arin needed to learn how to fight without depending too much on the skill. While it may be the core part of the summoner class, it also acted as a major weakness. Without a summon, they would be pretty useless. Of course that weakness decreases, as a summoner ranks up, allowing them to get another pet.
In any case, this was a good time to try out the new skill of his weapon. He approached a small group of spiders and used Demon's Stare. The jewel then shined red as an eye was projected over the monsters. It looked at them and sent down a red beam casuing them to spasm and become paralysed. Arin was amazed at its effect and quickly used it on any and every group of spiders. It made them so much easier to kill.
As he continued through the caverns, he came across a chest.
"A treasure chest!" he thought.
These chests were somewhat rare and spawned randomly. Opening one could give you money, items, even skill books. Unfortunately, the chances of getting something good was low. Most of the time, it was just money. Arin opened the chest in anticipation but he looked in disappointment. All he got was some bronze coins and a potion. When he examined the potion, he felt a bit happier.

Rage Potion
~Increases all stats by 20% and recovers 10% of HP and MP every 10 seconds for 1 minute~
This would be quite helpful for later on and he put it into his inventory. After some time, he finally entered the final area. He only had an hour left on the cave bonuses so he wanted to finish this quick. As he looked around, he realized that something was wrong. The rest of the rooms were empty, there were no monsters. He reached the last room and felt some sort of pressure from inside. This could only mean one thing.
It was a boss.
As he readied himself, he entered the room and felt a chill run down his spine. As he looked up, he found 14 red eyes looking at him. It was the eyes of a giant spider. It had 12 legs and was 5 times the size of the Demonic Spider. What could only be poison ran down its mouth like drool. Its eyes looked away from him and flickered about, Arin was nothing but a flea in its eyes. Fear ran through him as he saw the name.
~Crimson Demonic Arachne~
He knew that if he retreated now, he would miss an opportunity to get even stronger. Without hesitation, he moved closer and managed to get a look at its stats. When Arin saw them, he had lost all hope.

Ps. There are game elements here Disclaimers and warnings: - This story uses clichés. Like, lots of it. - I am not a native English speaker, so my grammar may not be best (It actually is pretty horrible). First 80 or so chapters are a true butchery for eyes and I admit it. Shouldn’t I correct them then? I should. Why am I not doing it? Who knows. Maybe one day I will. - This story is pretty much an experiment. I try different perspectives, different styles, I can make some random Deus-ex-machina if I would consider that I made mistake in the story and decide to change it. - This story is written for pure fun, if you expect some mind-blowing plots and conspiracy of top-level authors – then you will be most likely disappointed. - Easter eggs. Easters eggs everywhere. Every now and then you will be able to spot single events, characters and lines of text that belong in different stories/mangas/movies/books and such. Of course, they do not belong to me but to the owners, though I am not listing them – I am sorry, but if you need to be told from where line comes, we won’t be friends. - And finally. The story is written for you and WITH YOU. If you have any suggestions, events, characters, skills, class… ANYTHING… you wish to see, please – tell me. In best case scenario I would use them, in worse – I would just not implement them, so what do you lose? Guyz I owe my thanks for their contribution: KenChi? Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me. Feedback welcome and encouraged, never be afraid to review or comment. HQ/Kindle-Grade cover art. Book Cover 2.0: "From the Dark"
