After the conference everyone left the tent and Aserania-san finally woke up, she looked at me curiously and said.

I greeted her good morning and she just stood there without a reply. After a few minutes she turned to me and said.

"Will you form a contract with me?!"(Aserania)

"What's a contract?!"(Kyouko)

"It's a pact that makes you my official master, and as your familiar I can't disobey you and I must follow your orders no matter how much I hate those orders, but for me to become your familiar I must first acknowledge your skills and power as a warrior. And our fight made me realize that you're the only one that i'll ever want to serve as my master, so what do you say, will you form a contract with me?!"(Aserania)

"What's the catch?! I know there's a catch for these kinds of things, so tell me what."(Kyouko)

"It's life energy, if I become your familiar then you'll have to give me your life energy and that will be converted to magical energy and it will make me stronger, But you'll need more soldiers from now on, so will you form a contract with me?!"(Aserania)

"Fine i'll form a contract with you Aserania-san."(Kyouko)

"Then give me a new name, afterwards use this scroll to seal my powers and use your blood to write your name in it and the contract will be finished."(Aserania)

Then when I turned around Fina-chan was there smiling at me. She sat down on a nearby chair and said.

Counter Stance: Waits for an opponent to attack before releasing a quick counter attack.

I'm surprised to see that this new ability has several more versions and effects, for now I can use the Brave of the Heroes: (Ice of Protection) so does that mean that I can manipulate Ice?!. I wanted to try but I can't remember how Aseria-san activated her Brave of the Heroes so there's no choice but to wait for her to wake up.

Meanwhile in Rryzuryu the main army of sakuragami has arrived there after killing the demons in the town. The army also found the vampire army and saved the soldiers of Rybridia so the city of Rybridia was made a temporary camp of sakuragami to prevent the advancement of the demon king's army.

Jonathan's point of view

"T-thank you for saving us from the vampire Sir Jonathan."(Rybridia Army Commander)

"It's not a problem, we were planning on setting up a camp at the border but since the demon king's army has already invaded, then we can intervene with the course of the battle there right?!"(Jonathan)

Behind Jonathan are three million soldiers from the sakuragami first knights regiment. While Kyouko and Fina was away the Leaders of the three fallen countries started a Coup d' tat.. And after that Civil war started on the capital city of Labarnia the battle took three days before the main army finally supressed the rebel forces and now they fled to their homeland and started to rebuild their armies for the next battle against the republic.

The numbers of Casualties were Seventy thousand out of Five hundred thousand from the Rebel forces and Twenty-nine thousand out of three hundred thousand from the Knights corps. The capital was left to Adele-san who brought three hundred thousand personal guards to the city and started the restoration of the city.

Rose-san asked Yuuki-san, Haruka-san, Jinta-san and Holy-san to come along with the main army. Yuuki-san was trained by Rose-san along with Holy-san who easily mastered Healing Magic. While Haruka-san returned from the bandit subjugation mission that she participated in. Unlike before Haruka-san's swordsmanship has greatly improved compared at the time she meet Kyouko-sama.

A soldier came running towards me with a letter and he said.

"A message from the Empress!!!"(Soldier)

"What?! let me have a look."(Jonathan)

I took the letter from the soldier and I read the following.

Send all the available soldiers at the capital of Rybridia to prepare for our meeting with the demon king, Don't show any hostility towards him and Avoid making any unnessessary actions.

"Prepare the troops to move out!"(Jonathan)

And thus our army departed to the capital of Rybridia Egradia.

Kyouko's point of view

I asked everyone in the royal family and the lords of Rybridia to gather in the conference room and our war council begun.

After our war council I asked the King to gather at least two hundred thousand people to the walls from the civilians to be registered as soldiers of our army and five thousand elite soldiers are to be gathered at the southern gates.

"Why do I need to gather five thousand elite soldiers from my army?!"(King Rodel)

The king asked me while his face was filled with curiosity, but I wryly smiled at him while saying.

"We'll break through the demon king's army with these soldiers and I've already gave instructions to Fina-chan to prepare our cannons on the walls, These cannons are weapon I created that can only kill demons."(Kyouko)

"H-how many cannons do you have?!"(King Rodel)

"Fifty cannons are now on the walls, and I allowed their forces to breach the first wall so when they enter the city they'll be weaken because this city has a strong magic that weakens demons within 500 meters from the walls and demons inside the walls are greatly weakened."(Kyouko)

"So what if their weakened how will our soldiers match their strength!?"(King Rodel)

"I'll use both of my skills the first weakens demons within my range and absorbs their strength and the second is to give ten percent of my powers to the soldiers under my command, so that means that everyone that's currently being lead by me will recieve a large amount of strength, agility, endurance, reflexes and magical powers."(Kyouko)

"I-is that true Kyouko-sama?!"(King Rodel)

"Yes it is and we'll break through the demon army until I meet their commander so that we can form a negociation with them."(Kyouko)

"Negociations?!(King Rodel)

"If we severely damage their forces and their casualties exceed 50% of their army then we'll raise a white and ask them if their willing to surrender, If we can prove that we have superiority in weapons and soldiers then they'll be force to accept to surrender."(Kyouko)

"But what if we fail?!"(King Rodel)

"We have the new cannons on our side and the rifles how could we lose?! We need to win this battle or else our provisions wouldn't last for another week."(Kyouko)

"True we can't get any provisions from the nearby villages and the rebel army already occupied those villages, we need to end this war now or else this country would be destroyed."(King Rodel)

On the next day the demons, orcs, goblins and rebel soldiers started to storm the capital city of Egradia, the numbers of their armies are two million demons, ten million orcs, fifteen million goblins and a million rebels soldiers. While the number of soldiers under our command is eighty nine thousand adventurers, three hundred thousand malitia soldiers, fifty thousand Rybridian soldiers and Three hundred thousand Sakuragami soldiers.

The difference in number was obvious we're outnumbered and our chances on winning is low and the cannons are only effective against the demons and the enemy sent orcs and goblins instead of demons so right now ten million demons are outside the city and seven hours from now the soldiers from the shougunate will soon arrive.

If we can't make them retreat before that time then the shougunate's armies will be the one to finish them off so we need to end it until then.

"Prepare the rifles!!!"(Soldiers)

I gave instructions to the soldiers to ready the rifles on the walls and send the troops there, right now we have three hundred thousand soldiers on the walls a hundred thousand of them is from our rifle division while two hundred thousand soldiers are guarding the gates in case the enemy breaches the gates.

"Ready the elite squadron's weapons!"(Soldier)

There are only a total of ten thousand soldiers on our elite squadron, can we beat an army that exceed twenty eight million enemies with this numbers?! I used [strengthening] magic on my body to improve it's strength and handed the weapons I made to the members of the elite squadron aside from Fina-chan, Yuriko-san, Fumiko-san, Ilya-san and Aselia-san who has weapons of their own.

"Preparations are finished ma'am!"(Soldier)

As the soldier reported the request I made on the war council was already prepared in advance. Ten thousand war horses has been prepared for the upcoming battle and we casted the magic [strengthening] to increase their physical strength, agility, endurance and magic defense. and we also gave them mithril armor with the enchantment [Magic Resistance] and [Physical Resistance] so our preparations for the battle are finished.

A few minutes later the demon soldiers, orc warriors, goblin soldiers and human rebels surrounded the second layer of the walls, they intended to attack us from all sides until were worn out, but I wouldn't let that happen since I asked some of the adventurers to cast a barrier around the walls to prevent the demons from flying above it.

I rode a white horse wearing mithril armor and drew my katana from it's scarbard and said.

"Today we'll fight for the future of this kingdom, for the future of this country and for the future of humanity, I ask everyone here today to lend me your strength for the upcoming battle, let us avenge those who died to protect their loved ones and this countries people. Let's decide our own fate, All troops charge!!!"(Kyouko)

After those words the gates of the southern gates opened and I casted [Increase Agility] on the horses and their speed was greatly increased. Our horses charged at full speed and the surprised soldiers of the enemy started to flee before our forces.

We trampled the demons, goblins, orcs and rebels in our way and stabled them with our swords and spears that I prepared in advance using [Creation] and I used [Enhancement] to give it holy properties to help kill demons and other dark attribute lifeforms like vampires and demons.

The sound of swords clashing against swords was heard everywhere in town then I shot a rifle in my hand and that gave the signal to the soldiers on the walls to bombardment and they started loading the anti-demon shells and aimed them towards the demons.

"Fire!!!"(Division commander)

After the commander gave his command the soldiers continued to fire cannons towards the demons non-stop and the demons were easily killed by the cannons and the army continued thier charge.

"Behind you Kyouko onee-san!"(Fina)

Stab!

"Thank you Fina-chan. Can you lead the rear and fight the demons and orcs on our flank?"(Kyouko)

"O-of course Kyouko-sama! Let's go!"(Fina)

"Yes ma'am!"(Soldiers)

And afterwards Fina-chan left with two thousand soldiers and went to the rear to prevent our enemies from surrounding us, Then I continued to stab demons with my katana as my horse ran at high speed.

"Continue the charge!!! Don't stop until we've reached the gates!!!"(Kyouko)

The cannons continue to fire shells towards our enemies, this time instead of anti-demon shells they've loaded the anti-orc shells. I prepared three types of shells just in-case. Anti-orcs, anti-demons and anti-dragon shells. So I think that this decision was current since the results were this great.

"Now that the path is cleared everyone charge!!!"(Kyouko)

I lead a company of three thousand and charged towards the gates. Those who came along with me are Ilya-san, Fumiko-san, Yuriko-san and Aseria-san.

An army of human rebel soldiers intercepted us but I cutted them down with great vigor. Ilya-san and the rest also followed my command.

"It's nice to see you well again Yuriko-san."(Kyouko)

"Well after I recovered from the battle I started to practice my swordsmanship and now my swordsmanship has improved since the last time you've seen me."(Yuriko)

"Kyouko-san we're going to help the rear can you please lend me three hundred soldiers?!"(Fumiko)

"Okay i'l leave everything to you then Fumiko-san."(Kyouko)

"You can count on me Kyouko-san."(Fumiko)

After that Fumiko-san rode towards the gates along with three hundred soldiers and the rest continued to press forward.

"The plaza has been captured Kyouko-sama."(Soldier)

"Good now send some soldiers from the reserves to secure the area."(Kyouko)

"Roger that ma'am."(Soldier)

Meanwhile at the demon king's encampment.

"The soldiers we sent there are being wiped out?! And only by a mere ten thousand total soldiers in total, that's impossible even if the demons are weakened in the city we still had orcs, goblins, and human soldiers there so how did we lose?!"(Larry the Cursed Blade)

"It seems like they created weapons that specialized on killing the orcs and goblins along with demons. And furthermore it seems like these weapons doesn't harm humans at all."(Demon Commander)

"Call the men back, we can't win if we fight them in the city walls!"(Lary the Cursed Blade)

And I heard a horn which signals their forces to retreat, we cutted off the escape route of the soldiers near the fall and the commander gave his command to fire our secret weapon and the soldiers that intercepted the enemy has retreated, after seeing that their comrades has escaped from the firing range the cannons were loaded with explosive shells and they started to continue their bombardment.

"Fire!"(Soldier Commander)

Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!Boom!

The bombardement continued and this time since they used explosive shells the damage dealt on the enemy forces was massive, but the surroundings were also damaged from the blast, unlike the anti-species shells these shells that will not harm anything else aside from the race that it's designed to kill, these shells are loaded with gunpowder that explodes on contact which makes them a revolutionary weapon for this world.

The enemy soldiers lost their morale and our troops morale were raised, their numbers of twenty eight million fell to the number of fifteen million, their casualties has already exceeded thirty percent and now it's time to finish this battle.

"All troops ride rally to me, Aseria-san please break through the enemy ranks with all your might."(Kyouko)

"As you wish my master."(Aseria)

Aseria-san used her technique [Brave of the Heroes: Light of Hope] and light started to surround her crimson red hair changed colors and started to become silvery white and the her magical energy seems to have increased, is that the work of [Contract[?

Aseria-san led a squadron of five hundred against an army of three hundred thousand who were guarding the gates, they had two hundred thousand rebel soldiers and a hundred thousand orcs guarding the gates as their forces escape, we can't let their forces escape now, so I commanded Aseria-san to delay their evacuation by intercepting the enemy forces while Yuriko-san's squadron will eliminate the enemies that were escaping.

As Yuriko-san forces intecepeted the escaping soldiers I lead a squadron of three hundred on the demon army's encampment while wielding a white flag, Lady the Cursed Blade faced me with a face that was filled with rage and said.

"What are you going here? A white flag? Are you negociating with us?!"(Lary the Cursed Blade)

"Yes I am, I don't want needless casualties and you also want to keep the damage on your forces to a minimum right?!"(Kyouko)

"Tch!"(Lary the Cursed Blade)

"Will you accept our negociations? If your willing to fight this battle down to the last man then the armies of the shougunate and the main army of sakuragami will surround you within four hours. And our numbers are above fifteen million can you really beat our army at the current state of your army?"(Kyouko)

"Fine i'll accept negociations, signal the horns that orders our troops to ceasefire and recall them to our camp."(Lary the Cursed Blade)

"Gather the surviving members of the elite squadrons and tell them to meet up here, and don't forget to signal the horn that orders our troops to cease fire as well."(Kyouko)

"Yes ma'am"(Soldier)

The soldier rode off to the city and left and the demon named Lary invited me to his tent where our negociations will begin.
